After watching this I learned one thing. Never buy a used truck from Illinois ever.
"All highway miles" and "Well maintained"
Rusty as hell too lol
LOL
Hey, it's Illinois. One of the few locations where not only do you get all the weather-related drawbacks of the southern states, but you also get the cold-ass winters and road salt of the northern states too. But on the plus side, we have the world record for "Most state ex-governors in prison at the same time!"
Don't buy cars or trucks, or anything with four wheels and an engine from this horrible state. Everyone here is a dirty lier.
I would like to see all of the truck manufacturers donate their trucks from the assembly line and lets see how well built they are.
Um, looks like 98% of the ones breaking aren't RAMs.. If you didn't notice.
@@TheXOoftheRO but none of them are stock trucks
Fiat rams are garbage.
@@TheXOoftheRO Yeah, the point is "off the assembly line" and I think when you said "RAM" you really meant "Cummins".
@@TheXOoftheRO Maybe you missed the fact that out of maybe 7 Mopars total in the video only 2 didn't shit the bed?
Ay Beauferd, when do I stop??? “When your engine shits out it’s guts on fire”
Red means "run son"
6:55 ANNOUNCER: Here comes your hometown guy, let’s make a little noise for him. Crowd: Gets even quieter.
🤣🤣🤣
LMBO!!
Cuz he's the guy sneakin' around at night "visitin'" all of the local ladies and all of the men were understandably pissed off...
I noticed the same thing thought that was kind of odd myself😳
Notice how the weight box moves up, back, then back up and slams ahead at the end. Thats what they get. Lol
Note to self: Only run a solid front axle when sled pulling.
and don't pull with your daily
Or beef it up with cognito lol
I’ve never had a problem with my duramax on stock tie rods
Daniel Bateman Knock on wood 😂
@@Toxicwastesu I find it funny that the vast majority of stock trucks pulling I see breaking tie rods are GM and not Ford or Dodge... Heck in this video an old Ford outpulled the GMC with a broken hub! Brand loyalty is funny - not talking about you in particular but just a lot of the Chevy fanbois say the same thing. I like NBS/OBS GM trucks but I wouldn't for a second not admit they have shit suspension components from the factory. Hell I'll give you a free one. I've never had a single problem off road with my XJ....but the factory steering box is garbage - hasn't broken, just sloppy and loose (which happens to be a GM designed Saginaw box. Funny.). Doesn't matter who makes it - all of them have their own problems. Good luck with your Duramax's tie rods. I'm upgrading my Jeep's to be safe. Nice Cummins btw.
Someone should tell the guys with their 3rd gen chevys with IFS to stay home or upgrade their tie rods
They are on back order from China where gm gets all there stuff.
Better not have me out there, I'd cheat and come sober.
Coming sober IS cheating. Lol
@@CentralIllinoisTruckPullers Apparently so is any safety gear for the drivers.
Oh yeah they tore 'em up real good
@@z28fitzie yeah, cuz they was in some real danger...puuuuleeze...if there is real danger, they WOULD be wearing all of the gear as some, if not all, of these events sanctioned by a driver body of some sort...
@@sykwookiee Best to just stay in bed, safety there.
You know the local driveline shop is gonna be busy!
1:11 "Are you going left or right?" "Yes."

16:27 when she starts talking about having kids
Lol. Good one!
I’m not going to lie , I didn’t get it the joke for about 5 seconds. Probably because I don’t do that. I usually just use a name of someone I didn’t like in school.
I get it
😂😂😂😂
Imagine watching your nice looking brand new puller being beat by some truck that looks like it was in a scrap yard yesterday
I have never seen so many pigeon toed cross-eyed chevys in one video before
Probably because nobody wants to run a P.O.S. Ford!
@@danforbess6941 sounds like you're jealous that you don't own a Ford
@@danforbess6941 yeah that sounds logical to me. I'm gonna choose a truck that can't even take the slack out of the chain before the front tires try to swap sides... 🙄 Bowtie=bow legged And there's a reason you get the hell out of a Dodge 😂
@Miles Holtz why ram it when you can stroke it
@Miles Holtz I have always said I will buy a dodge before I buy a bow legged bow tie
Nothing like drinking a beer, and watching this video!! 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
That is the best way to do it!
Note to self: don’t skimp on the tie rod ends
Lol dont buy GM im pretty sure their tie rods come pre bent
@@BassBluntsBitches420 XD
Or drive- shafts
@Dave Micolichek Damn chinesium!!
its tie rod sleeves.
Always entertaining when stuff goes BANG!
I feel sorry for the owners, but it is fun to watch!
It is very entertaining. Most of these pullers just laugh it off when something breaks. They get it fixed and ready for the next event.
Yes, they are a very resilient bunch and pretty inventive when it comes to get it going again. They put on a good show.
2nd watch, Always entertaining when stuff goes bang AND IT AIN'T MINE!!!
Litterly chillin in my hotel room in Somerset, KY 530 in the morning and KZhead recommend this. Thank you, algorithm 😍😂
A ford 460 with straight pipes, hard to beat that sound!
before it over heats.
To bad all it makes is sound! 😂
Idk, I like fords but a big block chevy is evil sounding.
1:07 ain’t nothing weaker than a Chevy’s tie rods 😂
door hinges!
It's funny what's causing them to break before the pull it's very consistent?
One thing is their motors lol
Too heavy on front end.
Nothing saltier than a ford owner.
Never been so interested in truck pulling, this channel got me hooked! (no pun intended)
That is awesome. Thanks for watching TheMooskyFox!
Stock chevy tie rods make me laugh every time.
thank god some of those driveshafts broke, that saved some people a lot of money lol
The old man in the black super stock 2wd wasn’t stopping till he saw a state line
@25:06 "What do you mean this isn't a burnout competition? Damnit Linda, you told me to bring the slickies not the stickies."
Love them old trucks
2:38 “shit” had me dying 😂😂 Oh and 5:41 the dude was like getting a good pic while the truck was going and like the flag dude shoved him outta the way and yelled at em😂😂
Would have gotten a really good pic if the chain broke
@@lb9gta307 oh ya get REEEALL up close
Woulda put that shit in macro close mode.
Chevy: "let's use IFS on a heavy duty diesel truck!" Truck: breaks tie rods if you look at them wrong Chevy: surprised pikachu
Best pulling video I have seen to date. Thanks for posting.
Thank you Dennis. That is quite a compliment. I really appreciate it!
👍's up guys thanks for taking us along with you
Just here to watch the new Heaven Bound sled. My welds seem to still be holding.
Larry keeps it looking nice!
The funniest part for me was when that white Dodge lost its wheel simulator.
Brutal and yet it happened so smooth.😂👌
the axle said fuck this i´m done...
Tie rod sleeves make a huge difference.
People who put their work trucks/daily drivers into these competitions have no right to complain about how bad the economy is.
Lol. I can't say I've ever seen half a truck bed pop off before 😂
It's a first for me as well Shawn. It couldn't handle all of that horsepower. Lol
@@CentralIllinoisTruckPullers Sir, you spelled Bald Eagles wrong. It isnt horsepower, it is bald eagles damn it
It was trying to find the right body style truck.
His runs seem to always be hilarious 😂
seeing stuff like this brings back old memories I can't wait to move back to a small town
I used to yell at drivers "If we hop, we stop!" Apparently that doesn't mean anything when pullin a sled. But I did find myself rootin for some old 5.9s and 7.3s... great video!
When the grill and bed flies off
Keep on haulin'!!
Well Jimmy your first place in the burn out competition 😂😂😂
gotta give props to the guy in the back. He has no idea where he will end up.
I loved watching all the bro dozers suspension come apart
I love watching guys take their street trucks to events like this thinking they'll do good and they just destroy their trucks lol.
I've never broke anything in 18yrs
Where do you compete at Brian?
Did run in south Dakota for 18yrs hooked to the hot foot which was the small town sled, then hooked to one of the iron man sleds. Everytime had different distance results depending on sled setup and track conditions
Greetings from the international space station!
Thanks for checking in Conrad. Stay safe up there.
Conrad Kenneth check your tie rods Conrad!
Gotta stop using them DuraLast u-joints...
ISO a U-Joint vender to attend our events... Lol
@@CentralIllinoisTruckPullers and a tie rod booth too!
Good point Tyler. Going to need those as well.
@@CentralIllinoisTruckPullers when you're dealing with Chevy's and IFS... If that's the right term correct me if not you got to keep some spare steering parts in case someone pigeon toes
Silas McGee, probably a good idea.
Fuck load of torque and stock running gear from the 80's. Always fun.
Hello Budget Rent -a-car? What do you have available in 1 ton 4x4's?
Love getting to see how the stock ones stand against some of these million dollar babies
Love how the older trucks beat the pavement princess trucks.
27:25 holy shhh, I ain’t never seen reflexes that fast. He’s out the top and on his azz before I’d even know I’m on fire.
I’m on fire ricky bobby
And that ninja flip out of the sunroof-is this guy secretly John wick?
anyone else here missing these shows cause of covid?
Ole Jeffery Cray cant catch a break 😂 that shows when you love doing something you dont give up
When it's a Wednesday, you're drinkin, and you need some truck pulls to get you through it.
the ole ford at 2:15 still got the job done.
Hell yeah it did.
There were a few "ugly" pulls here that were pretty good.
Diesel Power : so did the old Chevy at 5:30. Can't beat an old American truck
@@endutubecensorship Hell no you can't
@11:38 super great pull...flawless run....too bad for the engine compartment fire though.
fuel lines blew
Some of the most interesting truck pull's I've seen on KZhead yet.
From this video I've been able to draw 3 conclusions. 1 buy Ford never Chevy or GMC 2 drive till your rig either blows up, shits out a drive shaft or you make it to the end and 3 safety really isn't a big factor because we have jorts and sleeveless plaid dude running backwards while being in the line of fire for anything that goes wrong.
at 5:48 I think chuck did a great job lol. looks like a win to me
It's like having Morgan Freeman as a narrator for a truck pull.
@@CentralIllinoisTruckPullers lol this video also has its fair share of pigeon-toed cross-eyed Chevy's too
27:14 HOT HOT, OH WE GOT IT, HOT HOT, HEY WE GOT IT, HOT HOT, YEAH WE GOT IT!!!
RealTrigg 250 the dude was out of that truck before he burned an arm hair off! Impressive!
@@Crawlerjamie Right, he said "I'm gettin the fuck outta here", gotta applaud him for that though
Watching these engines is so satisfying. The amount of torque a modern engine can produce is amazing! I'd love to go to one of these pulls someday.
I've been all over the country and seen MANY truck & tractor pulls and hands down the best I've seen were in Kentucky for some reason. Guess they REALLY get into it there. Haha
I like how much the big three are represented here, lots of different cool trucks! great video, subbed!
I'm glad you liked it. Thank you for watching and subscribing!
Well you're not exactly going to take a Honda Ridgeline to a truck pull, so why would there be anything other then the big 3 in this video?
What else would be represented?
Something tells me Shawn Murray has a hell of a stock pile of driveshafts
Feel BAD for the Folks whose Trucks Broke... That Sux, but the Video was AWESOME!
3:50 that is a sexy looking truck!
I miss it so much. Can always tell the guys with no experience. Roll in the throttle soft and once you start getting some momentum then give her the beans.
28:55 That reminds me of Jeremy Clarkson at the British Leyland challenge (Top Gear) when he was trying to park the car at a hill and started a massive burnout: “The car generated so much smoke that it was completely hidden from view. I therefore claimed I’ve done it, and then it was Hammond’s turn” lol
No other motorsport is as hard on the vehicles as this. So much carnage!
I didnt know we had this here in illinois southern illinois kid here
Hi Noah. We have had events in Mascoutah, Freeburg and Marissa, IL the past few years. Come on up to one sometime.
Ok who else is impressed by the 75-78 Ford that made FullPull with snapped front driveshaft...
👍's up again. Awesome collection thank you very much
28:40 Dude got the best burnout EVER
poor bastard should have used beadlocks
He got out afterward and said, " Did I win?"!
Wheel hop breaks shit. Offset breaks shit. Wheel spacers break shit. Pulling breaks shit. Great video.
You guys have freedom in Illinois to do this I can't believe it. Great video by the way
2:23 When he said "shit" after his brake down had me rolling. 😆
Its been a minute since I"ve been to a pull. Roberts , Jenkins, Corrigan
I wonder how the "Cyber" truck would do
I would like to see that as well. Lol
Maybe ok
It would pull the sled into outer space
The batteries would be drained in a second
Blow a fuse
Looks like you may need to look at your rules for drive lines. Rules around us are that you have to have loops minimum 1/2" wide by 1/4" thick on each part of driveshaft to keep it from flying around if you break a u-joint. Also have to have 1/16" steel bands 3" wide around the u-joints (360 degrees) to keep shrapnel from hurting someone. Great work on the video though! Pickup pullers definitely help keep those local parts stores going!
Parts stores should jump at the chance to sponsor truck pulls. It is likely a great investment for them since some of the pullers will need to buy the parts that they broke at the event. Lol. Thanks for watching J Scholl.
Ahh shucks, there goes another filter now i have to make another trip to O'Reilly's to buy a new Edlbroke cleaner and housing.
Bring back memories from my childhood. Mauls shop is in my hometown. Cool to see on lubetube
9/10 For that burnout!
I really like the hood stack design :)
3.30 drove the tray off it😂
These Chevy small blocks have a sound of their own the amount of torque and rpms are amazing .Sounds as if some are stroked for sure,no engine can replicate the beautiful music.
@20:29...Farthest and Best pull I've seen tonight...nothing broke or got damaged.
25:10 Good God! They let him back up and jerk the sled with the chain loose! In 46 years of going to pulling events, I've never seen that. I guess anything goes in central Illinois. They're the true outlaws in pulling.
Blowin cams, twistin shafts, bottom end gave away , ohh how fun it is to see your money be gone today. hey!! 🤣🤙 MERICA!!! 🇺🇸
I certainly don't like people loosing/breaking w/e little they have but some of the people and equipment just were str8 up asking for it. 🤣👍🏻
Part numbers flying!
8.25 looks great with the kc lights
8:59 that air filter 🤣✌🏻
27:27 Me when a red wasp gets in the cab unexpectedly
Great upload, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching Hilyard Holler!
Seen my fair share of this type of breakage, but the blown tires are kinda unusual.
What I was thinking.
Funky sled design with lots of tongue weight. All the tires blew near the start
I love them all
Nice video good editing
Thank you Michael. I really appreciate that.
I️ think I️ could make a good living making custom driveshafts at these events.
That tier just went boom
Amazing video
Loving this video, but it would be fantastic if every malfunction was described as it happened. Like the basic reason each run failed. Even though a lot of them are fairly obvious.
FULL SEND!!!
They should open a repair shop right outside that specializes in new gm trucks
Chevy should have stuck with straight axles
Al hagens truck was already pigeon toeing before it started at 8:07
I have ALWAYS had Ford 4x4s then when I retired my work gave me my work truck (a 93 Chevy 3/4 ton 4x4) the DUMBEST system in the business, I fixed it by putting a locker with a cable actuator in the front, it had a temp sensitive front end actuator and the truck was sold new in Colorado!!!
