The ultimate callout Challenge competitors hit the dirt for the sled pull at ucc 2019. #ucc19 #sledpull #truckpull #cummins #powerstroke #duramax #1320video #dieselpower #truckpulling #truckpulls #sledpull
I don't care what your favorite truck model is, or who your favorite person is. Tony burkhardt and his team absolutely thrashed after the Dyno mishap. For those who don't understand that it's s big feat to swap a whole driveline and electrical in one night....whether your a performance shop or an average Joe, to sort through the good and the bad in one night and come back to make a hell of a pull....nothing but pure respect for those guys.
I imagine electrical didn't take that long but I've never done a driveline before
All depends what got hot, bent, burnt driveline wise.
Just a bit of character
Brendan Bruce simple wiring harness hence why they had 3 with the and new motor swap they didn’t tear down and rebuild that motor back ups all built for quick and easy repair or replacement speed is key in all aspects not just racing or pulling
Power Driven Diesel made a great come back from last year and pulled that sled on 6psi of fuel. MECHANICAL MAFIA!
Just sucks that there pump gear slipped back to 18° during dyno
But now thay truck is gone till it's rebuilt
PDD built one mean truck, that bad boy can pull. and they call themselves rookie pullers haha. Mad props to the DHD crew for piecing that truck together!!!! Good job boys!!!
They did a recap video and they said they were on only 5 cylinders for half the pull and at the elf they were on 4. to think what would they have been able to do with all 6 cylinders
way to go DHD team... impressive showing!
Lotta respect for the DHD team. Truck looked rough, but he made it.
Can’t believe the dhd truck was back at it after the dyno. That’s impressive.
Yea It blew the fuck up
no doubt. Props to that crew.
That's a good duramax advertisement
@@edmoore272 what? that an aftermarket tuner can swap a blown duramax in a day
@@rustedratchetgarage6788 Right, because everyone and their brother can go from one completely custom one-off setup to another in 18 hours. They replaced every bit of wiring, plumbing, and circuitry in that truck from the cab up. Get fucked.
Can't believe DHD came back after that Dyno run away with one of the longest pulls of the day!
All these drag trucks trying to pull is pretty entertaining
LAST MINUTE HOOK!!!🤣👍🤘GETCHA PULL!!!
Man the officials were on the ready with the extinguishers after that dyno mishap lol
its beautiful to see those who use a dyno and tune their engine properly, theres almost no smoke and tons of power
DH effin D!!!! What a show!
Awesome the guys from power driven diesel.... 😬💪 the 2nd gen looks absolutely badass 😈💪
Love that thing. Craziest pulling setup out there for sure!!!
BUILT DIESEL MAFIA hell yeah 😬💪💪💪
Not bad considering he was a truck pull virgin last year. That thing is a monster of a sled truck
@@HotForgeChaos 🔴[PREMIER]
Looks like the track needed a little better prep work
Way too dry and the cause of all the destruction!
Good job last minute hook. burnt it down on the dyno the night before and pullin the next day. A good ass pull as well.
That St. James Ram was SICK!!!
Dang pdd thats one way to start the video!
Ahhh good ol 12 valves doing what they do best. Actually putting that power to the ground and pulling. Glad to see PDD make some clean runs. Ford’s just kept doing ford things lol Best comeback ever-DHD 👍👍👍
bandabanderos I bet all the fords here make more power then yours😂
Yes they do. But that’s not what the discussion is about. Stop deflecting 🤣
bandabanderos hahaha fuckin Turds, I mean Ferds, I mean Fords
I'd say that rear end on the powerdriven has more to do with putting the power down than the 12 valve up front.
David Pinto really? Plenty of other trucks had cut tires and more hp. You can have all the traction in the world but if you’re not putting power to that traction then it’s useless
I’m a Ford guy, this was PAINFUL 😖
Damn they got that chevy running again after the fire quick
DAAAAAMN they sure destroyed a bunch of those Cummins !!!
Powerdriven diesel for the win!!!!
Crazy to see that dhd truck pull after what I’d call disaster amazing what some good old boys can do in one day hahaha hats off to those guys
Glad to see industrial injection brought master shredder back for UCC
🔴[PREMIER]
The first truck was the best
Power driven and BD diesel ! Baby!
OFF THE WALL !!!!
You can sure tell who has a truck built for pulling. Good job DHD! (What a crappy track though)
how am I only seeing this for the first time now? this is nuts.
I can't believe these motors stay together during all that.....
wow that track looked pretty tough, seemed like traction was really hard to come by for some.
Track was awful.
i used to do truck pulls all the time years ago and that dirt was mega $h!t from the looks of it .. worst pulling track ive ever seen
Its funny to see all those companies advertised on trucks producing those diesel monsters bragging about performance ending up blowing after few meters :D
Track needed some serious work
That second pull boy that guy knows how to petal it
That Duramax did good I'm a Dodge Ram nut in Ram trucks when more truck pulls in any other brand Ram tough but they had the worst day today cuz I've ever seen in pool LOL
Throttle control is key.
Damn this track was destroying truck's!
1:40-1:42 I liked the way it sounds
Fitting that the dynomite diesel truck blew up
there's like three trucks that didn't break in this video lol
Would love to see some of these trucks on a real clay track...
amen not this dog crap track they call a track
It looks like clay with some sand in it which is better because it won't get rock hard but the main problem is that the track is to dry
*the engines scream the smoke blows the turbos whistle the trucks pull*
RIP to the t pain truck
Ultimate carnage challenge
Crazy seems like they all cooked there motors
🔴[PREMIER]
Little bit different than drag racing ol son!
11:30 sounds like a goddamn rb26 lol
Lmao
It's the rb26s bigger, stronger brother who smokes too much
White ford 6.0 screamed the best
You mean exploded the most violently.
alex gibbs still sounded the meanest even though it blew up
T-pain 😂😂😂
MECHANICAL MAFIA!!!!
Lol burnt down duramax showing everyone how it’s done. Hell of a team they got
Except the old dinosaur of a 12 valve with its mechanical injection system smoked everyone in the pull, so the burnt down duramax just got burnt.
Looks like its dodge and then everyone else. That Cummins is a badddddddd boy
Duramax took home 2nd place though. But the cummins were definitely overall dominate.
lots of part numbers in the oil pans and on the track
What are those giant pieces of metal for on the front bumpers? I'm a newbie
They are weights to hold the front of the truck down as it pulls
@@driverben Thank you very much sir
No prob, im not a die hard fan like most people are but i do enjoy watching how these motors can take abuse, its amazing
🔴[PREMIER]
Track looks Little Dry Like Friggin Desert Dry Holy Crap Thats PITIFUL
Yeah track was not good at all.
GET OFF THE WALL listen for it lol
Master shredder is probably the most badass truck there, a close second was the DHD guys. They take my vote for not giving up!!! The rest of those trucks seem half ass.
Prop to dhd team for rebuilding the truck and doing sled pull very few could have done that
I hope every one of those trucks blows up
Butthurt much?
You a tree hugger or something?
That or he's just super jealous he doesnt have a truck.
Get back in your Prius dumbass
Dang track to dang dry need some water on it let me set the track up for yall
Wow looks like UCC needs to get some boys from the ntpa to come out and show them how to set up and grade a track!
Its dirt laid on concrete outdoors. They really need to find a solution for a better pulling surface in general.
What a great video. I've always been a die hard dodge fan but truly respect the other pulling trucks. there is so much blood sweat and tears in all of these. I know no motor is bullet proof, if you make enough power it will eventually blow, but it seems like the powerstokes catch fire a lot more when something happens, why is that?
Jesse catches fire all the time i have no idea why lol but pushing 1900 hp out of a 6.0 is some serious power. Respectable showing for the powerstrokes against the worlds toughest competition.
mreeve9 cause powerstrokes are crap
Maybe it’s having two exhaust manifolds instead of one like a Cummins, more chance of a fire if something leaks. On a Cummins, the fuel rail and pump is on the opposite side of the exhaust manifold.
@@SSMedic Thank you SSMedic I didn't even think of that
To much power
Looks like UCC might need to require on board fire suppression to race.
Watching these guys has me thinking of developing a CO2 engine fire suppression system. Eliminate the fire with absolutely no mess. You want to go in halves ? 🤣
I have a system where if any cylinders EGT sensor sees above 1,100 a solenoid opens to allow inert gasses to enter that cylinder to lower combustion temps in hopes to spare the sacrificial piston.
After seeing a few trucks break, I would've packed up and left
Boy these guys are struggling.... need to come to the west coast and take notes.
i just a note from an old school puller, if the track it this loose roll out and build your boost under roll or have fun blowing the tires off and going nowhere
Yep and the successful pullers did just that. Exactly right

Love my Cummins but the duramax was putting in work
That red dodge was on 1320, it has another turbo besides the front 2, things pretty cool
It does indeed! Awesome truck
DHD! DHD! DHD! DHD! #dieselheroes
18:13 look at his differential
Next time ... maybe prep the track before the pull
Give me a chevy or I walk it is what it is yall big a from the dirty south 😁
There is a significant advantage with bar tires . Dot tires dont come close to the traction they provide in sled pullin. They should all have to use one or the other.
Really depends on the surface. Plenty of guys would argue that dot tires running duals on the rear can be better. In fact the 2nd place truck is rumming dot tires on the front cuts on the back. Its an open competition so you can choose what to run.
Pullers choice
Can someone tell me why the trucks lose forward momentum towards to end? Don't know anything about this sport but like the youtube suggestion
The pan on the sled that moves towards the front has huge amount of weight in it. As it approaches the end it slams the sled to the ground which has angle iron and things that dig into the ground stopping the trucks.
The power strokes held up their reputation well!!!
what they have to do to get the @dirtyhookerdiesel back up and runing
They swapped motors completely. Although they said they don't think the one that had issues was hurt badly other than the turbo being destroyed. Believe they said they didnt see or expect to see any bearing damage after they looked at the motor. They also swapped wiring harnesses and all for the pull. Some serious work to get it all done over night.
@@BUILTDIESELMAFIA didn't think they be back after the dyno props to them #Chevy #duramax #likearock
Correction great vid lots of damage 🔥 Clickbait? Where’s the thumbnail
Its in there lol watch again. No clickbait here
@@BUILTDIESELMAFIA correcting comment my bad
Can't imagine what the egts get up to.
I think there were three or four trucks that made their pull without something breaking. That's really too bad so many of the trucks break because they are all seriously bad ass.
Maybe this is a dumb question but here it is...why are they running standard beds and dually tires, I know why dually tires but why not dually beds?
The trucks have to run in 3 events at the call out challenge. So they just bolt on dual wheels for this event. They also have to do a dyno run and drag race.
@@jromem7313 thks, I had no clue
The pdd truck fucking kicks ass
Unfortunately in badass diesel It's either on or it's off.
You would think watching powerful trucks pull a lot of weight would be real exciting. Yet truck pulls are like watching paint dry for some reason
Says you lol this is awesome shit
It's funny that the majority of the Cummins trucks couldn't even make a pass without breaking or blowing something up, lol same on the drag strip 🤣
Maybe so but their still twice the engine of the isuzu or international junk
@@bradhardy2629 if they are "twice the engine" why did they not hold up?
@@Tippsh2 the drivetrain usually breaks cause it wasn't upgraded enough to handle the torque of the built motor .
Negative miles per gallon😲😲😲
Ahha, gallons per mile.
If the fords dont break on the dyno, they break in the sledpull
Lots of trucks broke. Ford actually stayed together pretty good all weekend long for the majority of them.
🔴[PREMIER]
Just a bunch of guys blowing up their trucks
And the EPA grumbles about my deleted 11 250SD. More smoke from one pull then my truck makes all year. Not saying the pulls are bad, love them, but just saying.
2:37 that thing is loud
Should call this video “Cummins fail compilation” ... I mean “Every day normal for Dodge owners”
Funny be cause every Ford failed there and there were way more Cummins trucks so yeah you're going to have more numbers wise, but by percentage fords failed way more.
Powerstrokes didn't do to well, but they held their own for the most part
The powerstrokes all blew chunks or differentials.
17:15 hard to believe someone nearly died inside that truck. Kudos to the guys to get her up and running again so quickly. Check out the dirt flicking straight into the turbo bell mouths lol. No fucks given, just send it !!!!
As I read the comments, I'm wondering what the hell you guys are watching? All I'm seeing in this video is a bunch of busted trucks pulling a sled. Every truck broke but one.
14:30 The damn dirty max with all terrain's went about as far as the trucks with paddles not bad not bad at all.
That duramax was rolling coal up until the very end, hot damn.
What’s the point of having a light Fiberglass front end if your going to hang a bunch of weight off the nose?? I get ballast weight for tuning but does it really mater
Have to understand the competition. Its a 3 day event where you take the SAME truck drag racing, dyno, and then sled pull. That explains why a lot of these trucks are more drag than pull.
BUILT DIESEL MAFIA something that is ok for every thing 🤣 is good at nothing🤣 are shop is right next door to Fleece. They are some really good dudes. I didn’t know it was a all around comp. that explains all the shifting problems🤓
BUILT DIESEL MAFIA tell them dudes to put real beads back on. Having weight up high over the rear end is great for drag racing!!!🤣 that’s why you always see wagons at the drag strip
@@groomlake51 great guys for sure. Im only about 40 minutes from brownsburg.
BUILT DIESEL MAFIA I live on the west coast in Lake Tahoe. I fly to all of the races. We are having a big open house the week before the US nationals. I talked to my team manager about having the fleece guys and their trucks at the open house party. If you can make the trip we would love to have you? I can work on some vip tickets to the US Nats if you would like to attend it?
Seems like all these trucks are killing themselves trying to pull that sled. How much were they pulling?
Somewhere around 40k lbs.
Was this amateur hour at broke down shit raceway??? I have been to some pretty podunk back woods pulls and have never seen so much broke down shit at one event...is truck and tractor pulls new to this area???
New to Indiana? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 hard no. Understand the event a little and you'll get it. It's a 3 day event where you take the SAME truck drag racing dyno and sled pulling. Most of these are drag trucks fitted to doing sled pull business.
Could of just bought a steam tractor and pull it twice as far
Unreal you guys the truck back to make a pull.. Nice Work I hope the diesel guys In your area are aware of your shit. lol
I would have just loaded my trailer and left that track and the sled
Nah not when you see the money these guys were after. Its easy to sit behind a screen and say what you would do but if you were there to pull you would've pulled.
