Samsung's Odyssey G9 is likely the world's most popular ultrawide and the new models they were showing off at CES seem to be better than ever. Plouffe (who owns an Alienware AW3423DW if you forgot) is here to take a look to see at the new OLED G9 and 54" Mini-LED monitors to see if this is truly peak monitor.

Not to mention it's just a weird thing to be asking people. Not sure how asking people if they want a tech tip is suppose to increase brand awareness for dbrand. I guess I don't see the big picture. To be honest I'm not even sure why dbrand continues to sponsor LTT. Unless it's just an act or exaggeration for the videos, my impressions soley from LTT's dbrand sponsor segments, I get the impression dbrand is a bad company and that LTT is begrudgingly taking their sponsorship for the money and not because they believe in their product. It's very confusing.

I've been waiting ages for an Oled SuperUltraWide and currently have the similar 49" monitor (s49a95u) from Samsung in terms of PPI and resolution but with a traditional VA panel. It is awesome for productivity and the 120hz is so-so for casual gaming. I appriciate that they DID NOT make the oled a 1000R curve and kept it a 1800R! Strong curve might be great for gaming but simply just takes up too much space (even mounted on a wall) and requires a certain position in front of it to be optimal. Now, Nicholas didn't meation it, but I am pretty sure it also features an integrated Thunderbolt dock, which is basically a requirement for the segment of endusers I think they are aiming for; adults that uses it for productivity via employers laptop, enjoys the occasional gaming from a powerfull desktop and the ability to watch endless Disney Frozen video on KZhead with the kids, but at the same time do it with the best possible quality.
