This is the all-new Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo!
It’s the estate version of the all-electric Taycan, and it’s the first all-electric EV estate in the world (well, if you exclude the MG 5…)! The question is, should you choose it over the regular Taycan?
Well if you’re looking for styling changes, there isn’t much to see here! The interior’s almost exactly the same, and when it comes to the exterior, there are only a few minor cosmetic updates to be found to help it looks a bit more 'off-roady', apparently.
But then again, if you’re choosing the Cross Turismo, you’re probably most interested in the extra space you’ll get! And to be honest… it’s not loads, with 446 litres available at the rear. That’s only around 40 more than you get in the regular Taycan!
So is that a bit less space than you expected? Well thankfully there’s one area where the Taycan Cross Turismo doesn’t disappoint - the performance! There are a handful of options available, but the range-topper is the Turbo S, which delivers 761hp and an epic 1,050Nm of torque!
So, how high has Porsche set the EV estate bar? You’ll have to keep watching to find out!

In my opinion, this is one of the most attractive waggons available. The Taycan is one of the few electric vehicles that makes me optimistic about the future of the industry. This is a fantastic vehicle. I'm also blown away by Porsche's ability to produce such incredible models in such a short period of time. This vehicle is just stunning.

Exactly. I would never thought that I would like this maroon color but it looks awesome. Car manufacturers are working wonders with color options these days. It would be a shame to buy this car in black, white or silver.

I’m impressed how the German car brands are catching up with electric mobility. Mercedes Porsche Audi... are doing great jobs, slowly there’s a new segment building and I really like it!!!
It'll be interesting to see how that segment integrates with the Jurassic electric infrastructure in most of the world :'(

@Frank Castle don’t Know if long way is the right term. German car brands basically have just started with their first generation models in the Electric mobility Segment and they are catching up very fast.

Always fun to go VW logo hunting on Porsches. I've got a 30 year old Porsche (yes, it has VW parts on it) and the only bit that is badly designed is the centre console cover, which breaks off if you use it. It's an in house part. The VW parts are lasting well.
Amazing Machinery by Porsche. The only thing - I would keep that beautiful curved main speedometer screen and infotainment LCD, but climate control and other features should be done with regular aluminum buttons and knobs.

I ordered one 2 weeks ago! I got the chalk color with some cool wheels etc. I test drove the Tycan and was blown away. I felt like I was in a spaceship! I'm so excited for the Cross Tourismo. It seems like a combination of the Cayenne and 911. I have an M3 1998 convertible that I love driving. When I drove the Tycan I felt that connection and response to the road but a smoooth ride. Great video and vey funny!

I think the 4S is the sweet spot in the range. The Cross Turismo comes standard with the 93kWh battery and as such is much the same price as the standard 4S with the option of the 93kWh battery. The 4S is more than fast enough and has more range than the Turbo or Turbo S.
Seriously impressive, can’t quite bring myself to love the front end but love the rest.

That cable hanging from the A pillar made me think it was a crack on my screen 🙈
You could mention that there's a bloody big battery under the back floor and that's why it's raised - bugger the foot area. Back seats are mostly for kids anyway. The lip of the boot opening is necessarily high for cabin protection and the rigidity of the shell. This car is magical in every way.
Great looking car and lots of room for my 2 dogs. I also love the new Model S and Plaid version.

I prefer the look of the CrossTurismo over the standard Taycan, not only that, it improves the rear passenger space and space with the seats folded down when you have to do the tip run!!! I suspect that this will sell in larger numbers than the standard Taycan.

I had a taycan for a weekend. It was unreal. It changed what I thought possible in a car in terms of performance😳 Nitpicking: Navigation does not include charge stops, change of modes and restart resets your preferences, the configuration of the lever for the cruise control is super weird.
I wish you guys didn't change the colour of the car in the thumbnail. It looks better in the video. Great video as usual by the way!
