Tough Armour has never let me down. I've had it on two different phones over a 5 year period and many drops. The kickstand on the back is a nice bonus for watching videos.
I've used Rugged Armor cases on my S7, S7 Edge and S9+. I've dropped all of them too many times to count and the case has saved the phone every. single. time. The raised lip that keeps the screen elevated is by far my favorite feature. I've already purchased a Rugged Armor case for my wife's S21 (that hasn't shipped yet), and will get one for my S21 Ultra. Buying the case before buying the phone says everything about how much I trust Spigen.

I love rugged cases. I like the one with the kick stand, even though I don't need it and the one before that without the card holder. I just wish they had more vibrant colors like my previous s9 from UAG in red. UAG has the best looking cases, but I just can't spend $60, I'll wait until black Friday.

I have the liquid air (1st one) for my S9+ and prefer it over others as it doesnt show any smudges on the back panel like the Thin Fit would. Also the Liquid Air conceals the rear camera bump out which makes a nice flat back surface(unless of course you prefer seeing/feeling the bump out) . I was surprised Daniel didnt mention this as I think it could be a make or break kinda thing. Anyhow otherwise excellent review of the various cases. I just ordered my new S21 and although it wasnt mention in the review I chose a the white phone because it has the silver trim around the camera and think it makes a classy looking contrast on the black liquid air. If you prefer a blended/muted look which I know is also popular then you'd want to choose the gray phone as its the only one that has a black trim around the rear camera.

@@jayraval9034 in my opinion, YES! In fact just yesterday i had place my phone on top of a jacket i had laid on the kitchen counter-top and went to do something else. I had forgotten that i layed the camera there and came back to grab my coat and the phone went flying! Hit the refrigerator across the room and then the floor. It survived without so much as a scratch! I thought maybe it wouldnt have as its really not designed for that kind of rough use (hence why its so thin) but I was pleasantly surprised with the protection! Your experience may not be the same but Im 100% completely satisfied and believe if it weathered that storm it will stand up against less violent drops. Hope that helps.
Thanks for the comparison! This helps a lot. I bought the Thin Fit for my S21. But I wish they distinguished the feel of the power button vs the volume buttons. I was about to return it but now that you said you like the Thin Fit the most, I'm having second thoughts. I had the Liquid Air for the S10e and I liked it. Just have to be careful because dirt can get caked between those triangle patterns.

i ordered the rugged armour at first but cancelled and ordered the tough armour instead because for some reasons its the same price ($1 cheaper even) and the s21 is quite small for my hands so this is a phone I dont mind adding extra size and bulk to. Plus from past experience the kickstand would be very handy to have, hope its not too filmsy.

Hey You said the Thin Fit doesn't protect like others but don't you think it protects? So I mean with shock absorption when the device falls or something or falls harder on the table? Do you think something in the device breaks more than if you take a softer? Or says the hardness nothing? Have a nice day !

Great review but just a tip imo you missed pointing out a really important feature on cases and that's the lip as far as face down screen protection. I love thin cases as long as the edge is raised enough to protect a face fall.

Does it have a lip around the screen so that, if you put it face down, the screen doesn't touch the surface? If so, how much of lip is there compared to the liquid air? I'm trying to decide between the two.
Yeah it does have a lip. I would say the liquid air slightly has the thicker lip. Barely noticeable between the two and thanks for watching!
first thanks for the video I definitely go with slim fit because the popsocket holder wont stick for any silicon material and the armor one is very bulky and heavy Weight so the slim fit is the champion

I know the tough armour one is screen protector friendly as I've used this on the S9 and my current S20 which have curved screens.

I tried the G Color screen protection and it fits perfectly. I'm planning to take the thin fit, rugged armor AND the tough armor, now haha
@@soudvo9585 I had issues with screen protectors on the S20, not the fit, but getting the under screen fingerprint reader to work. I currently use the Whitestone Dome screen protector. Expensive, £49 in UK, but its the only glass protector I got to work without the silly circle cut in the protector where the sensor is. I know the S21 works differently to the S20 sensor, so may not have the same issues.
I like the last one best.
I bought the clear gliiter spigen (I believe its the liquid crystal) and I would not recommend it if you want a clear case that would actually stay clear. Mine began to turn color within less than a month of usage.
Does anyone know if the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G Case Ultra Hybrid (Matte Black) will come out in white in the future? Or does anyone know if this material can be painted white?

Great video.This is one of the very few channels to have covered the base S21.How is the battery life of the S21? The 4000mAh battery seems small to me.Does it last an entire day? And how good are the cameras?

A while back I bought the Liquid Air for my Note9 but I was surprised at how little grip it had. Now rocking the Tough Armour which has excellent grip. Which cases in the video would you say has excellent grip?
Out of all of them tough armor and thin fit has the best grip for me. Both cases feels pretty close or identical

Spigen Ultra Hybrid Case is second best case I ever had, with best protection I ever had. Best case but with minimal protection was Samsung Clear Cover Case which was hard plastic cover for S6 - S10, no yellowing at all of course and wearing only depend on your using. Personally I am not big fan of all TPU cases, especially them from Samsung because they are almost impossible to clean, only solution is soap and water. Yes and Samsung Standing Clear Cover which is hard TPU and plastic is very poor quality (sratches and stains on stand straight from factory) with not so tactile buttons as Spigen have. PS. All TPU cases also these with plastic backs are yellowing. I had already four Spigen Ultra Hybrid Cases for iPhone XR, all of them yellowed, back and also sides (carrying in jeans), it takes about 3/4 year.
Nice! $10-15 for a case that can last 3-4 years isn’t bad. About the same timeframe to upgrade to a phone
@@danielsin No, you dont get it, it lasts max 3/4 year, that is three quarters of year, so 0.75 of a year. :)
@@tomashons90 oh yeah, I guess it depends on what ppl like. I don’t mind yellowing if it doesn’t constantly slip out of my hands throughout the year. So I always prefer the TPU feel.
@@danielsin I think 20$ yellowed case is disgusting on 1000$ flagship with high grade metal frame in sleek matte gorilla glass sandwich. I prefer to instantly buy new one instead of having that yellowed case. But yeah, it depends on what ppl like. ;)
Tough Armor, any day every day. My only gripe with it is that flimsy kick stand. Spigen should stop putting that

I have owned only spigen cases with the stand as on the though armor, i have had most cases for 2.5 years for each phone and the stand has NEVER broke off or failed me! So dont worry about it

Never never put on a case like this guy did. Always button side in first. My buttons fell out on my note10 for the same reason and samsung does not cover that under warranty.

I'd say they look really good. Minimalistic, one color, not gimmicky, grippy, etc
