The EVO Checks used to be soft rubber all around including the sides. That used to be my go to. Unfortunately they stopped making those.

The Otterbox Defender Pro was also promising with its full protection and built-in screen protector; I would love to see you showcase more cases like those including the Ghostek Nautical. Don't use the belt clip for anything but the stand part you just showed me now has me thinking otherwise! lol love this phone and the amazing case. I had an Otterbox Commuter long ago, and it was good, but got the Defender and Defender Pro after that. Identical to mine with my S21 Ultra 512G. But I really like the UAG Monarch series Carbon Fiber. I had the Speck Presidio Grip on my Note 9 when I first got it, until I got my Otterbox Defender Pro, and it was nice, but after a while, the rubber ridges started coming apart. So I would stick with my Defender Pro or the UAG Monarch Carbon Fiber. That one looks really nice. The inner hardshell back piece fir tge Defender Pro has clips around the sides to open and press back in after you put the front trim ring on.

Unicorn Beetle Supcases are really underrated. I've had one on each of my last 4 phones and have dropped them from everywhere with no damage whatsoever. Plus they are really cheap at $20
I've used em, too. Only problem is how thick that back is. You can't use a pop socket on em. I love the comfort the pop socket adds.
@@tswan137 Yeah I used a Unicorn Beetle on my S10 and my main complaint was exactly that, would have liked to be able to use a popsocket. Hell of a strong case though, protected it perfectly the couple times I dropped the phone

Any info you can share on these; are they easily accessible, or do the raised protection layers obstruct the swiping action? *was all set to buy the Otterbox defender pro s21 ultra, but couldnt find it online anywhere(UK), finally tracked one down in a USA store but there's a warning attached to it from California State regarding hazardous chemicals in it that can cause birth defects, cancer etc!!! 😬 ...assuming thats why its difficult to find here? ...pity too as it looks the part.

That UAG monarch ain’t no joke I had it in my iPhone XR since 2018 about to get my s21 I dropped that iPhone many times and used the uag case edges to open beers

100% hexagon and so far it is top of my case list, although that precidia grip is a very close second. Only 14 min in, anxious to see if this one can be topped.
I had the plasma for my note 10+ and loved it. I was excited to see it available for the s21 ultra. Unfortunately the rubber around the camera module corner is too soft and it will barely stay on. It even stretched up over the screen while in my pocket. I can't speak for the other models but the plasma is not the case you want.
@FlossyCarter I have noticed UAG and Gear4 are not doing a military grade flip case this year. Which flip case out there would you recommend for the S21 Ultra 5G? 🤔🤔🤔🤔

What do you think about the UAG Monrach vs the dbrand grip? I have both for the iPhone Pro, but I think a larger phone can make certain positives or negatives of a case really stand out. Plus the form factor is different. And the 12 Pro isn’t nearly as big as the S21 Plus.

Nice review Flossy , I just got my Pathfinder CAMO series for My Ultra from AUG and the orange pathfinder UAG for my iphone, both are superb, last week I dropped my phone while riding my bike and not even a scratch. Thanks for doing the review on the UAG Civilian series, I think that green case looks amazing, so sad that UAG doesn't give discount for Old time users that buy their cases every year a phone is released. I am so mad that I miss the case request video. Flossy has to look at the i-Blason cases. They have Samsung and apple cases. They keep your phone safe and look so professionally stylish. If these cases looked too rugged or you didn't care for the sparkling case, the i-Blason cases are definitely a great recommendation!
