  • Count Dracula could sleep in a bed and didn't necessarily need to sleep in a coffin regain his strength. It was the Transylvanian soil that he needed to sleep under so really the coffin is an option to do so easily. It sounds like a weakness when you say he can't sleep in a bed. However the story can be made funnier if you keep that idea in it. Dracula entered the bedroom. "Oh no beds. My only weakness"

Also, yes, it's definitely Habsburg, not Hapsburg. The latter seems to just be a popular albeit incorrect version of something that is "written as it sounds, but is wrong", like "could of" instead of "could've".

  • Fun fact: The reason Dracula was called Dracula was because his father was a member of the Order of the Dragon, and thus received the nickname of the Dragon, or Dracul. Vlad Dracula is basically "Vlad, the son of the dragon."

  • But if Chocula's father comes from the Chochul bloodline, and his mother the Dracula bloodline, wouldn't that mean that he isn't inbred? As soon as someone marries outside the family the risk of inbred-caused illnesses drops down to basically 0, as you said in the Daenerys video on Film Theory.

  • I know Im late but fun fact vampir is Serbian (you can see Serbia by the Romania at 6:44 ) word because there was created the first legend of the vampires wich was also half fiction and half reality (You can find out more if you want by searching ,,Petar Blagojević the vampire" (btw Petar wasnt the only Serbian vampir))

    • up until I started thinking about it with any seriousness, I'd been living under the assumption that he was awarded the title of count for making a good-selling cereal product. because knights in England are knighted for producing something that greatly benefited the country, like poetry or movies or some other culture. I completely glossed over the fact that count title means land. so I'd say that that land is where chocula discovered, and made, chocolate cereal.
