Torque Rider's cats do respect their owners but they are a little complicated. You have to show her/him much love before they completely trust you and when they do they become very sweet. I like cats more for this reason and they are smaller and more cute imo. What i also like that a cat treat you as a fellow cat bestfriend, if you know what i mean. Sometimes when they hunt for food they come back with a death animal that they almost already have eaten completely but they leave a piece for you, yes it might seem disgusting but i find it cute. And sometimes cats need to be alone because they are introverts and if you dont they whip their tail up and dont and that is when they are irritated or mad, this cat in the video probably had a bad mood or was mad for his owner to leave for a while. You can't really say you hate a cat without understanding them.

I briefly consider letting in a stray that had followed my partner home but our cat was not having it. So we took.her some food n water and something to sleep under in garden (heavy rain n she was a bit thin) afterwards our cat spent the whole night demanding constant cuddles n stroking and attention. P.s. stray was fine. Neighbours woke us the next day demanding to know why we had left it outside all night. We explained the situation, that we felt bad for her but ours was being very aggressive towards it. She got it checked for a chip and then adopted it.

last time a random cat did this I sprayed it with my garden water hose I didn’t see the cat for while. And eventually the cat came again and tried to do it again like nothing happened. But this second time had enough so I used a fire hose and I never had to do it again. I am so glad my neighbor is a fire fighter. And yes the cat completely fine except, maybe a little traumatized since I never saw anymore poop on our grass.

Cats have absolutely no concept of dominance or being bosses... They are mainly solitary predators but they are also prays and they know it… That's why their territory and who is entering it is so important to them… Survival instinct… There is no "alpha of the house" here… This cat was simply stressed out because another cat was approaching him while he was tied to the door with no possibility to escape… iI you have a big backyard it is always better to build an enclosure than tying them but if you have to ty them it is better to use a harness than a collar because if they panic they can get loose or strangle themselves... Plus, their way of showing affection is totally different than dogs… They are more skittish and discreet… A cat can be laying on your lap relaxing and enjoying petting, hear a unfamiliar or loud sound and panick...

Torque Rider's cats do respect their owners but they are a little complicated. You have to show her/him much love before they completely trust you and when they do they become very sweet. I like cats more for this reason and they are smaller and more cute imo. What i also like that a cat treat you as a fellow cat bestfriend, if you know what i mean. Sometimes when they hunt for food they come back with a death animal that they almost already have eaten completely but they leave a piece for you, yes it might seem disgusting but i find it cute. And sometimes cats need to be alone because they are introverts and if you dont they whip their tail up and dont and that is when they are irritated or mad, this cat in the video probably had a bad mood or was mad for his owner to leave for a while. You can't really say you hate a cat without understanding them.

I briefly consider letting in a stray that had followed my partner home but our cat was not having it. So we took.her some food n water and something to sleep under in garden (heavy rain n she was a bit thin) afterwards our cat spent the whole night demanding constant cuddles n stroking and attention. P.s. stray was fine. Neighbours woke us the next day demanding to know why we had left it outside all night. We explained the situation, that we felt bad for her but ours was being very aggressive towards it. She got it checked for a chip and then adopted it.

last time a random cat did this I sprayed it with my garden water hose I didn’t see the cat for while. And eventually the cat came again and tried to do it again like nothing happened. But this second time had enough so I used a fire hose and I never had to do it again. I am so glad my neighbor is a fire fighter. And yes the cat completely fine except, maybe a little traumatized since I never saw anymore poop on our grass.

Plus, their way of showing affection is totally different than dogs… They are more skittish and discreet… A cat can be laying on your lap relaxing and enjoying petting, hear a unfamiliar or loud sound and panick...
