    • It was called DONG before May last year. As an acronym for things you can Do Online Now Guys. Then they had to change the name to D!NG, because they feared demonetization. I'm not sure why though.

    • The reason Christmas (Jesus Christ's birth) was started being celebrated in December is to match (or rather overshadow) the winter Pegan celebration of winter solstice when the later Romans tried to spread Christianity across Europe. However the "actual" day or month of the year that he was born is not known (Gregorian calendar was not a thing at that time). Guesses/estimates include October, July, September, May -- in fact any month can be equally likely.
