GSP 600 comes with exchangeable cables for use on multiple platforms, such as PC, Mac, as well as consoles with a 3.5mm jack input.
These look pretty awesome, I've already got some Sennheiser HD8 DJ headphones that I use for gaming, but I gotta admit, I'm tempted to grab a pair of GSP 600's because they look so damn beautiful.
sheesh i'm getting these ASAP!
Just got them they are unbelievable. The soundstage is just as good as the sennheiser one even though they are close back which is crazy only sennheiser can pull that off
How are they holding up? My current 363D has volume slider issues. You need to fiddle with it, or it only plays sound in one earcup. I mean, they are 8 years old, they have served their use.
I will be saving up to buy this.
My HD600s do everything I need them to do for my gaming purposes
Damn I'm getting these :D
bought the sennheiser pc 360 2011 then i upgraded to Sennheiser game zero, and now i bought Sennheiser GSP 600!! And WOW !! This is the best headset i ever owned.. They did a hole in one with the GSP 600 great job !!
I also have a PC 360 and thinking about upgrading. How's the difference in audio quality and comfort between the PC 360, the game zero and the GSP 600?
Finally a good innovation. Metal hinges and adjustable contact pressure. I have been using thousands of headsets through my 20 years of gaming life and unfortunately most of them had the failure of cracking because of bad hinge and support design. To avoid this problem : 1 - Always remove your headset by using your both hands and pull them by using the same force off your ears. Do not remove the headset from one side and by one hand all the time; this will simply weaken and plasticise the hinge on that side which will result in failure. 2 - When you are done with your headset, try to hang it balanced on something. Like over a hanger or a simple nail. Still, if metal hinge is connected to a weak plastic support it will break from there. I hope they found an elastic solution for that part of the headset. Adjustable contact pressure is a lovely feature. This will let people have a more customized comfort option for longer gaming sessions. Unfortunately, these days headset either squeeze hard like the tentacles of a mythological kraken or falls down over your head like autumn leaves. What disappointed me about this product is its being a multi-platform headset. Marketingwise it is a good decision to sell for all users. But PC users will not be fully satisfied to go through and experience a simplistic and nullified sound quality. In my opinion, there should be a PC version which should be able to benefit from amplifiers, DACs etc. And a standard one for console users where they wont be needing an additional peripheral. Still, too early to talk about this headset, especially without giving it a try. But hopefully it will turn out to be decent one.
Dude , if a headset supports Multi-platforms that doesn't mean it has consequences in sound quality or anything like that .
If I was gonna buy a new headset right now....this would be it!
Lets see how it compares with Turtle Beach elite pro n the A40s
Name of the song please ?
i hear my self thru my gsp 600 how do i fix this?
0:20 bastion sound
perfect
Sennheiser please make gaming headphones like these, but with detachable microphone. Thanks!
Still seeing pre-order on the Sennheiser website, any idea when the U.S. is getting the full release?
We started shipping part of the pre-orderd units, full release is mid February
Just came from HardwareCanucks' preview of these and they look awesome! Though I'm confused about the actual color of the metallic highlights. On his video, they are a sweet-looking burnt orange, but in both this video and on the product page they appear to be red... so which is it? I'm considering preordering these but I'm ridiculous and that sort of thing matters to me. My gaming setup is all white, black, & orange, so if the headset matches that's even more awesome!
That must have been the filter, I am looking at one right now and I'd say it's rather red.
In the video Dmitry actually says "The orange accents are a new color for Sennheiser but they add a unique, metallic definition to the headset." Perhaps it was a trick of the lighting at CES or maybe that particular pair had slightly different accent colors to indicate it was intended for demos? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It might have been the lighting. Its definitely not the redest red you have ever seen, but if you expect it to be orange and then unpack it than it would probably be disappointing. -.-'
Will you ever release an open back version Sennheiser? I have the GSP 300 but it's pretty bad on PS4 as there's no mic monitoring option :(
Well, first things first. Stay tuned on our channel for future updates.
GSP 500 open - back ;)
Now that you've bought it, listen to this video once again with full volume
Release date please! 🤤
Damn this headset show up in time am looking for new headset right now ... Nice Timing 🙄
Where i can find information about the drivers in this headset?
Under "techninal data" on the product page you can find the available transducer information www.sennheiser.com/gsp-600
put on backorder :( back in stock any time soon?
I ordered it a while back and was put on backorder, and the Sennheiser store page says that it can take up to 8 weeks for delivery so...
Bought a pair and they scream quality and the sound quality is good (a tad to heavy on the bass side but its not way to much), the mic produces good quality sound (beside the fact that its more of an omni directional pickup pattern resulting in sounds around the talker gets picked up way to well). But what about the cons then? Sennheiser must have used a barbie doll or forgot to account for the headbands soft stripes height when selecting the height adjustment margin meaning everyone with even the slightest bigger head than average could pass those otherwise great headset straight to the garbage bin. Where their other cans like my hd700, hd650 etc easily fit with room to spare in the heigh adjustment those GSP600 is unable to get even close at their maximum - Its a darn shame a great headset get totally useless by such design oversight. So my advice - If you have small-medium head and are looking to spend on a great headset - Don't hesitate, those are great! If you have even the slightest bigger head than average - Dont, they will likely end up to small even when the typical other headset/headphones fits perfectly.
How does it sound with music? Like on KZhead or perhaps a movie
Sennheiser is the king of sound. But them m8.
While they are primarily designed to suit the need of Gaming, a balanced sound and beautiful audio is something that is of uttermost importance to us. This allows you to enjoy music in game and out of game.
Hey Sennheiser, how does these compare to my Sennheiser Game One headset? I've got it for over a year now and i am loving the sound quality compared to my old usb headset the Logitech G35, but even after 1 year of use , i have yet to get used to the directional audio of my stereo Game One Headset. I bought it pretty expensive at 200 Euros and i am using it with my onboard audio on the Z170x Gaming 3 Motherboard and i am not using any software to alter the sound at all, i just have it all on default. Are there any tips you can give me on how i can improve my directional audio with my current headset(software wise and hardware wise) and can you compare the 2 headsets, the Game One and the GSP 600 in terms of audio only?
Onboard sound card is the worst thing for Sennheiser Game One. Try to get a headphone amplifier for sure. I bought myself a GSX1000 which made me feel really satisfied ( Game Zero User ) . But unfortunately it is very expensive. You can buy a good internal sound card. There are plenty of good sound cards on the market right now.
If it was around 100 Euros, i'd buy it no questions asked. But costing more than my headset? No thank you sir... I've also read the reviews and went over the specs, it's barely a mid-range quality wise, so no way i am spending that much on it, if i remember correctly, it's quality can't even fully utilize the Game One's specs.
Honestly I still find on-board soundcards suck, I have a Crosshair VI HERO board which isn't a cheap low end board but my mere 40$ Asus Xonar DG (a cheap low end ) dedicated soundcard on my previous PC totally whop my CH6 on-board soundcard's ass....especially the EQ settings which actually it's far more accurate and if not mistaken I think the ranges are wider as well ! I still find dedicated soundcards very relevant if you're serious and rather " picky " when comes to sound. I would get an external DAC/AMP, but sadly there's no EQ to play around which I need, I can't stand Flat EQ settings....it make my ears bleed !
I'm using a Xonar U7 with my Game Zero and I can't complain about the audio.
Right now i got 200 Euros saved up. I'll save up to 400 Euros and get me a 1ms, 144hz, gsync 1080p Acer Predator Monitor. After that, my next purchase i'll start saving for a new GPU(got a gtx970 now), if while i am saving money for a new GPU, the GSX1000 gets at an affordable price like 100-120 Euros, i'll buy it no questions asked and postpone my GPU upgrade. If however the GSX1000 remains at 150+ I'd rather remain with my onboard, then getting any other DAC/AMP.
if you listen closeley at 0:19 you can hear bastion
Are there going to be difrent colors?
No, but the side oblongs can be customized.
I must wait 8 weeks for the headset 😔
Will there be a USB version of this?
There are no plans for that.
does it feature 7.1 surround sound?
Only speakers are real 7.1 surround.
I love this headset, It's very cool and I love the audio. Some people say it's not that comfortable but it is very comfortable to wear, Adjusting the sliders to the middle is good for me. I have an MSI z390 tomahawk motherboard and soon I will get the amp for this and see if the amp will make these sound even better.
Sir_Positive I’m going to bought this headset and i’m wondering if the sound would be better with a amp (I have only my motherboard, the MSI MEG Z390 Ace)
Even Sennheiser couldn't stop itself from using the Hans Zimmer esque music just because it's a gamer headset. Also, orange.
We were actually thinking more Mahler or Carl Orff and it is red, not orange.
can u tell me what driver this headset based on ? i guess hd 600 or 650 right ??
I highly doubt they are gonna use such high quality drivers. This headset will be used as a multi-platform headset. Therefore, they are gonna use some simple 50 impedance technology to skip the requirement for an amplifier etc. Even GameZero and GameOne had HD598 drivers where it is nowhere close to the perfection of HD650
It's likely using drivers closer to the current GSP models judging by its impedance.
Do you suspect the GameOne/Zero will have significantly better sound than the GSP 600s?
so you thinkg game one/zero will be better than gsp 600?
For me, It's been Sennheiser and nothing else for the past 20 years i've been gaming on PC. They just sit right on your head. You can wear the ones where the cup goes over your ears instead of "on them" for 10 hours at a time without even noticing. The volume slider on the cup, and the ability to mute the mic when your point it upwards are now something I cant live without. I have a 363D at the moment, and a 360D "G4me" before that. I don't understand why people buy those cheap flimsy headsets in bright colors from other brands considering how many hours you spend with them on, and how uncomfortable they are compared to proper ones. I'm not very fond of "gaming" branded headsets and the color schemes tho. I buy these strictly for the comfort, the mic and volume control features. Please consider making future products in just black/gun metal. The other Sennheisers I mentioned were black, with a metallic silver color scheme and those looked fine.
i wanT to know what is the difference between gsp 500 and gsp 600
In a nutshell: GSp 600 is closed, the GSP 500 is open.
thank you
i forgot to ask but witch one is better for gaming and witch one would you recommend
I just can’t justify buying these without them having surround sound.
$329 for Canadians, but worth.
Quick to judge much? Price isn't an issue for me. So you're from Québécois and you say Canada overall is an economic failure because of every province but the one you're in? That's like someone from California saying USA is an economic failure because of every state but their own. We're both Canadians regardless, so why the hate? Zzz... You're not worth my time. Ignorance at its finest... derp
$550 for Brazilians
Damn, feelsbadman
Gamer doesnt automatically mean Black and Red. Can we get some neutral plain black or white?
I agree if the "red accent" area on these was simply a gunmetal or black that looked nice and still accentuated their new slick industrial design ... I would love them even more.
mquirozz They have just released the product and more colours will follow.
Its orange
I hate this deigns also, over engineer the outside to look fashionable but ends up looking stupid instead. If Phillips of all companies can accidentally make a great gaming headphone like the fidelio x2 that looks great as a gaming headset and you can actually take it outside without looking like a complete tool, then why can't Sennheiser also? I'm so tired of gaming headsets looking... gamery. Oh well.
Preach it boi
is it better than sennheiser zero??
Yeah.
Would this be the best gaming headset?
Hi, that really depends for what purpose. In terms of quality the 500 and 600 don't differ. It is just open vs. closed like I told you before. :) So it is really just about your personal preference.
sennheisergaming Oh thx. Buuuut whats the diffrance between a closed headphone and a open?
sennheisergaming I thinking abaut buying it but idk what closed&open diffrance is
Generally speaking the sound stage, the noise cancellation and the wear comfort. While the comfort is usually better with open headsets, and the sound stage more natural, the closed headsets are better in noisy environments, because they block out the sound and keep you focused.
sennheisergaming than you for your response. I will defenetly buy one
if i tatoo senheiser on my arm can i get a freeheadset?
Your forehead maybe =)
can't not aloud in my culture
Will this is an genrous offer from your side, but we'd rather you didn't.
Music ?
Yes.
Sorry obviously my question was not accurat. what is the name of the music played in this video?
Is it wireless?
It's wired
sad i order it and am gonna get it next month :(
Sad to hear that. Our top priority at the moment is getting them out as fast as possible.
sennheisergaming i hope so my headset is dead i need new one ASAP can't wait i order it with gsx 1000 :)
Darko thats a great combo , I think you will have the ultimate gaming experience sound-wise !
BlastYourMind i hope so . When you have more than 500$ to spend on headset you can't go wrong with Sennheiser
Darko True !
Make them *white* Please give us a white variant.
Does this have 7.1 surround sound?
there is no info about the 7.1 not in there site or amazon i guess you need the Sennheiser Amp GSX 1000 to get the 7.1 so this headset will cost you 500$ if you want 7.1
GSP 600 is a stereo headset
You don't need it anyway.
You can download razer synapes and it worked more crisp than razer prouducts with the game zero, so it will probarly work more than great in the gsp 600
I'm a razer tiamat true 7.1 user, and i'm looking forward on buying this, will a transition into stereo will make such a difference and ruin my experience with them? have u been in this situation before, i heard sennheiser got one of the best sound qualities out there
price?
MSRP is 249,- EUR
Can't wait! ive been in love with the g4me zero but the leather padding has broken down over time and can see the foam. I'll be picking these up for sure!
FFS why can't you guys come out with a stealth color gaming headset like the rest of you're professional grade hardware?
This thing is 90% black. That's plenty stealth.
A single speaker instead of 5.1 or 7.1 Really Sennheiser
stop believing in 7.1 headphones ;)
This is not a professional gaming headset. Once you are out of warranty, you are left to hang dry without any options for repair services. This is totally a surprise and unexpected service for such an expensive headset that is touted as professional gaming. Everyone beware before you buy from an EPOS product.
Doesn't have a suspension system lol. Pass.
looks like a GSP 300 had an overdose with steroids
My GSP 350s have an inferiority complex now.
We can assure that the GSP 600 is well, alive and healthy.
Give me one of them I will honest review
Boi
ivorypuma same feeling bro
pls give me
I had sennheiser game zero. Great headphones except they sounds like shit. I downloaded eq and it got little better. I bought 2weeks ago hd600 and modmic and they are so much better. I have a feeling that those new GSP 600 will sound the same as game zero :I
