I recently bought the arctis pro wired on amazon and its okay. The sound is really okayish. To get really good sound for videogames, youre going to want to get DTS Sound Unbound on PC if you're on PC. For 150, its not completely terrible but i'm probably going to end up buying another pair of headphones soon as well. Looking at the HS80 or the blackshark V2's. I would buy the Arctis Pros on amazon and return them if you don't like them. I would give em a 7/10 only because DTS Sound Unbound saves them.
In the end you said Kraken X by accident. Does it have sidetone? I love my Blackshark V2X but can not use it multiplayer games because I can't hear what I am saying. Could you please include sidetone checks in your reviews?
Were you recording the mic via computer? if so how did you connect it, because the mic is coming through super quiet on my end.
As always, great review! Still enjoy them just as much since a year ago. How is the clamping force in these? I’m guessing they are like the og kaira’s. Personally I wish the kairas had more of that clamping force, but the headset is amazing.

The noise cancelation is beyond amazing and honestly best bang for your buck so I'd get these over anything else you're looking for 🔥 sorry for the late reply btw been traveling quite a bit

Interesting option, of course, but here is not removable microphone spoils everything, the sound in them is good, even better can be if you use them with a separate sound card :)

Been really struggling to find a quality headset to use multiplatform with 3.5mm into controllers on newest consoles. XBox Series X and PS5, while using various headsets with 3.5mm makes party chat terrible as everyone in the party can hear their own voices and game audio when I plugged in to 3.5mm with Razer Nari or Virtuoso XT. This was never a problem on PS4 or if going wireless. Really big problem. Know what these new consoles are doing differently? Do the Kaira X ruin party chat with the new consoles? Man for that microphone quality at that price, it's bang for the buck! If the audio quality is spot on like the way he said they would, it will definitely beat other headsets at that price point or above.

Razer Kaira Pro or the Kaira X? Wireless is not pre. Is the sound as good as the pro version? Does it work with the Razer app? The fact that I could use it for a potential PS5 is nice, which is not an option with the Kaira Pro.
I read a review on Amazon where the Kaira x had a sticker over the speaker. And that they removed the stickers over the speakers and that it sounded better. Are those stickers supposed to be removed? And why are they there?

I bought the "PlayStation Edition" of these back in September with the blue accents, and they are my main headset. I consider myself a semi-audiophile and have about 18 different headphones and headsets depending on what I'm playing or listening to for the exact sound I want, and these have become an overall-everything headset for me for the time being. They're comfortable and they sound pretty great for nearly every genre.

How do I have such amazing volume when I’m watching your channel and listening to music but when I’m in game it’s like the volume is almost nonexistent?! What is the deal with that on the hyperX Orbit S and the SSA 9X they’re both the same when it comes to volume levels on everything!
For me, I bought these for decent sound quality with, more importantly, a nice mic people can hear me clearly. Just literally got them less than 12 hours ago and I enjoy them ALOT. Really pleasing bang for the bucks.

Dang it! I just got a Blackshark V2 headset 😔. Would choose Kaira over them because of the build and sound profile you mentioned. Will have to stick to the Blackshark ones for now. At least they're lighter than Kairas, right? Thanks for the amazing in-depth reviews. I recently became a fan because was looking for a new headset after so many years and knew nothing 😅.

It being plastic is a bit worrying for me. I currently have. Kraken pro v2 with aluminium frame so like that durability so is it still worth the kaira?
Definitely worth it, can’t get better for the price. Why are you worried about it being plastic? The only cons I can think of is it breaking which unless you throw your headset against the wall while playing a game or stamp on them, isn’t going to happen. Aluminium is more easily broken anyway, it doesn’t have the flexibility and lightness of plastic which is why plastic is king! Aslong as it isn’t cheap plastic… and razer definitely did not cheap out on the plastic for these. Super high quality.

why does every headset on the ps5 sound so low,,,,,even when i turn the volume al the way up. the only thing that is somewhat decent is the pulse 3d wireless, even and only because of the new update with he eq available settings on the ps5,,,,cranking it up all..the the eq rows...sounds best.

From recent experience with new Kraken headsets, I can say Blacksharks are better and, igf he's saying he likes kaira better too, then they must be even better. Kraken have too much bass, are heavier and less comfortable.
