i like the no wasted movement philosophy of this guy and folks like petr yan. it's really brilliant.
I really love his fighting style. Well timed check hooks and surprising front kicks to keep the distance and dissuade the opponent from attacking combined with a long guard. just great distance management. It looks and performs well

I think it shows how impactful boxing skill can be when a fighter has a very strong wrestling foundation. most fighters who have a very strong stand-up game are much weaker on the ground. this guy will beat you up at both.

That check right hook is a great tool. It's offensive, defensive, has a decent amount of power, and doesn't leave him wide open as much as a bigger, arcing hook or overhand would.

@@timppatv2751 I don't even think one is better than the other, it's who is better at certain scenarios. They're both fantastic strikers (I have no clue how they do under pressure). Ank is a great wrestler with incredible power. Jan wrestled Izzy to decision and Izzy is a great LHW (given his previous kickboxing fights). I think Jan can come out a decision as long as he doesn't find himself on the wrong part of Ankalaevs head kicks/lose rounds to wrestling
