    • @@TravisRagland-ye3ge Not acting like anything. I said He got out worked, I didn’t say he got out wrestled. In the semis I think Carr out wrestled AND out worked O’Toole. I guess I should have worded it differently because I was by no means “acting” like Carr isn’t an absolute stud. Hell, he beat two of the best wrestlers in the entire country in any weight class on back to back nights.

  • wow Carr really battled thru this match. The way he avoided the takedown and kept hopping timing it perfectly was what really narrowed the gap of momentum. He really fights on defense to avoid takedowns probably some of the craziest defense I've seen. Great match.

  • I did NOT think O'Toole could be beat. I was rooting for Carr(not really for any good reason, just was)...but man, he was outstanding. That last TD...incredible. O'Toole jumped a level this year...and Carr matched it!

    • Carr has beaten O’toole multiple times. O’toole won the finals 2 years in a row. Carr has beaten O’toole in the regular season and in the Big 12 Championships before.

    • @llman03 Yeah, I understand. And O'Toole looked quite a bit better this year. He was bigger(probably too big) and he totally shut Carr down in the B12s. Carr couldn't even get into those scrambles, O'Toole was just too hard to score on. But, he gassed and Carr had enough left. I only wish Messenbrink knew he was down 1 in the finals. Those last 30 would have been really interesting. But.. that's beside the point.

  • What an incredibly balanced attack style. O'Toole's corner did him no favor when they challenged in the first, keegan had Carr gassed from getting out of a badly attempted attack. It may have made a difference, but Carr's attack may have just been better that night. Great match, hell of a win for the deserving champion!
