From someone living in UK : Liz is giving lots more money to the rich and even taking from the very poor , the tax cuts were directly rewarding the very rich while not covering expenses gained by the poorest through inflation and stagnant wages for over a decade . We have nurses here using food banks because they are so poorly payed and they have to hear how Liz and her goons reward the very people who never felt any pain ! Increased bonuses for banking executives? How does that help anyone other than the banker? Also, these tax breaks will not be put back into the economy. The money will be given out as bonuses and hidden away in tax havens. Let's not act like that won't happen. Let's be adults about this

Erm pffffmmm where do we start, ok, the larger bonuses mean u can attract better ppl at the top of banking, these ppl have the power to earn billions for the economy which means more money for most companies (since most companies operate on bank loans) better companies will receive better investments. These companies can then spend more and increase profit and turnover, paying their staff more and employing more. Products improve in quality and usually price and can be competitive globally. This seeds even more investment and pushes Britain ahead in the global market race that is called capitalism. The bankers also spend that money which is taxed then taxed then taxed again. Its a reward for intelligent ppl that contribute the most to society (in monetary terms). The worst thing you can do for an economy is give money to dossers unfortunately. Its how our society functions. Cut a shit load out btw but hope it helps a bit. 👍

Now regarding your comment, history has shown that the theory you've been spoonfed (obviously) has worked as predicted in, at best, some circumstances to minimal effect. In reality, large bonuses to executives do not help the economy at large. As the Panama papers and other leaks show, lots of that money goes into tax havens and the tax that is collected is minimized by the herculean efforts of high priced lawyers. Also large scale investments are negativity impacted during recessions and an increase in investment does not result directly from tax cuts. What this policy does is increase the deficit and benefit the elite with little to no benefit to the economy at large and certainly not the people of the UK who are suffering

The cost of living has gone up in the UK, but the world has much bigger problems than how much our heating costs. Good to hear we will be continuing to support Ukraine and our allies.
Of course the UK will support Ukraine as we support any agenda the US bestows upon it's allies & enemies alike. We're not going to help end the war or stop the suffering, we're going to try our best to make sure RUssia loses. At the end of the interview she defends trickle down economics by saying the UK isn't running up their national debt but "incentivizing businesses to invest ". The problem is this doesn't work. Businesses don't invest in their employees but instead use government money to purchase stock buybacks. And she almost certainly knows this but has been bought up by corporate donors.
She is only a temporary shill and the ERG Spivs will remove her when they have bagged all the cash. The UKplc is being asset stripped by these people and sadly' only public hangings can stop it ! They told everyone to their face what they were going to do and they are doing it full speed before they lose power. They don't want to be in power as they cannot deal with Brexit or the GFA , so they will leave a bankrupt emerging economy just bubbling above third world status and throw it at Labour and any coalition partners they may have , and sit back and laugh ! The uk supports Taiwan. But as far as defending it militarily, the uk does not have the resources that America has. It would stretch the uk armed forces to the limit, if not beyond. So that's why she didn't commit to anything right now.

First of all, Roosevelt and Churchill didn't trust each other. It was a marriage of convenience. The romantics of it are historians pens at work.
