This is Michael. I've searched for good videos on how to set up this dock with the Basilisk Mouse, and they all leave Parts out. This is the best one on KZhead, and the only one that explains what to do with the little USB 2.4 GHz receiver. Even the ones from Razor are no good concerning the mouse dock Pro. Thank you

I just picked this up as I was previously using a Logitech MX 3 - but that’s terrible for gaming and I found I don’t use many of the custom features of the MX 3 anyway. How do you find the basilisk x hyper speed? I just got it for other 50% off.
I just got this mouse after using so many lightweight mice for gaming. I feel the weight helps with stability and allows for more consistent shots.
The Basilisk Ultimate has been my go to.. I disable the RGB and it can last about 3-4 full days of gaming (7-10 hours sessions). Love this mouse. It feels so good and the weight is perfect for me.

I've got the Basilisk Ultimate, only downside to it is charging, using the dock over time it's started to wear or something so the contacts don't properly line up without a bit of folded paper in there to bring it slightly higher, this would completely fix that issue, although I think I'll stick to the Ultimate until it dies and hopefully the v3 pro will have come down in price by then. I got my Ultimate for around $80
Can you tell how much it last with rgb on? I might buy that one next

This is the issue I have with my Viper Ultimate. Sometimes I would come back from work just to find out the mouse out of battery cuz it wasn't charging on the dock and I have to swap to cable.
my basilik ult just died and oh boy did i went through a journey to find the right mouse.. i literally bought and tried the viper v2 pro > zowie ec2-cw > g pro superlight, i end up only keeping the zowie for fps games and picked up the basilik v3 pro… despite of the weight the overall feel just fits really well for me, ill say personally it has better clicks than the 502 too
I think it's missing one or two more buttons. I wish it had 1 or 2 extra buttons for more functionality options. I just feel that one button that it has to mapped deferent functionalities is just way too much for a single button. The extra 1 or 2 buttons would had help with that. That's why i always love Logitech because it always has the perfect amount of everything. I was looking into trying another brand for a new mouse but i don't know if this is it for me.
As someone that would click the mouse button 1 hard would this last without the button snapping in half or doubleclicking

I got my V3 Pro and the dock last night but the mouse wasn't charging at all - for some reason, the fix for me was the puck going in upside down (as in, the text on the inside of the puck needing to not be upright) and it's charging properly now
I wonder can any USBC Cable charge it? Or do you need its own cable again
@@lunarstarfurry any usb-c as long as it fits inside the housing the charging port is located in. I bought a cheap 3 pack of 10ft usb to usb-c from amazon for just over $10 until my mouse dock gets here and they all work perfectly. (if you get a cable with the aluminum collar on the end you will need to cut the collar off so it will fit inside the mouse)

It should be noted you can charge the mouse with any wireless charger. I use the one from a desk lamp I bought for like ¥3500 (US$25) that I also use to charge my phone and earbuds.
Im having issues with the dongle not detecting on my pc or laptop. Tried bluetooth and I cannot get it to discover whatsoever. Kinda angry about it

Do you know of any other wirless mice that support 4,000hz polling rate, with 750 ips, that also has the TILT scroll wheel? So far this is the only one I found across all brands I've looked at.
I just got mine, problem is when I plug in that 2.4 ghz dongle to my laptop my internet just disconnects and I cannot connect again. (I don't even see it when I search for connection)
Could you please comment on the battery? The Logiteck G502 X Plus claims has a loger lasting battery. Would the lack of bluetooth be a deal breaker? Thanks
Not really. It would be is you plan on using the V3pro as a work mouse as well. I have the g502x plus and after 3 weeks it's still at 60% battery without the RGB on
Can you set the RGB to one color, then switch to another PC keeping the same RGB settings? Or is there still no RGB memory?
like all modern razer products, if you saved your settings to a razer device that has onboard memory, as long as you have synapse and can connect online, it will retrieve/activate your settings
I just bought it but my battery life its just like 5-6 hours. 100% RGB, 1000 hz and with the 2.4 USB. Is that normal or do I need to get a refund?

This is the ultimate mouse, I genuinely haven't been excited for a piece of tech like this in a long while. The main selling factor was that it had Bluetooth as well. I was going to get a g502 wireless instead. Definitely will get, but it's definitely pricey tho.
Stop whining about the price if you're so excited you cheap skate. There are people like the headphone community that spend hundreds of $ for headphones. Or the keyboard community. Please never mention price mouse lover

They're expensive AF and not worth it even when I can purchased Razer Basilisk V3 Pro. The concept of pricey or not depends on the worth of the product. Same goes to Porsche, Ferrari, and Lamborghini when I can get GTR-R35 and beat all those 3 with slight modification on the engine..
Can that little button on side front be remapped to be another keybind button like back two? I ask bec I'm using Razer Trinty with 6 button circle panel. And I use first 3 buttons for WoW. But this mouse is already dying I got it in 2019. I'm looking to get V3 later in Nov. Appricate anyone imput. Thanks

Wish Razer would make a version with silent switches, for the main two buttons. I've played with a friend's V3 (non-pro) and it has a strange texture on the main body - kind of grainy - as I'm used to Logitech texture. Is it a bit smothered on the V3 Pro? Razer's Pro Click mice are apparently super-smooth and have their own odd issues that don't make it a good general mouse.
I'm more wandering if it have the same issue where the Basilisk Ultimate Thumb rest will just completely wear out after a while of use

For people who don't like, or struggle with auto-free spin scrolling (smart-reel in Synapse) because of the delay it takes the mouse to re-engage the clutch and end the scrolling, there's an extremely simple and effective solution. Rather than just resting your finger on the wheel to stop it spinning, and then having to wait for the clutch to re-engage, just give it the _sliiiiiiightest_ tiny nudge in the opposite direction as you stop the spinning. I don't mean literally "scroll in the opposite direction", it's literally just to send an input signal to the system saying "stop going down, we have instructions to go up now", but it's impercebtible on screen idk why i wrote this in so much detail but I've written it now so there we go. Hope some people like this tip anyway cuz it's true, the delay is annoying when using the auto scroll switcher if you don't do this to stop it
Wait... the puck doesn't come with the mouse..? So if I buy this mouse alone, there will be a great gaping hole under the mouse..? I can understand selling the dock separately, but changing the main product y to accommodate a feature (i.e. making it so it can house a removable QI charger), and then restricting the use of that feature by selling the QI charger separately, is so gross... Either make the product have a hole for the puck and include the puck (btw, literally some plastic, and a copper wire coil, I guarantee it's under 1 USD to manufacture), or don't fundamentally change the shape of the mouse at all so that if you don't want wireless charging, you don't feel like you've only bought half the product, I mean, literally, a huge chunk of the product is just _absent_ in the form of the hole the puck _would_ go in

Do you need to use the big usb dongle and the little you put in ? or can you also only use the little one ? does it effect something ? im using gaming notebook and this big dongle wouldnt be that good...
You can use just the little one in a USB port. The big one just gives you an extension if you want to have a cable nearby to recharge the mouse.

At Razer's website, they claim that their Gen-3 switches has zerp doubleclicking issues. That's honestly what drawing me in. I've got a 4 y.o. Logitech G502 Lightspeed and it's recenty become terrible because of doubleclicks.
A lil too late. You shouldn't find any doubleclicking issues on a mouse with optical switches. The Lightspeed still has those classic Logitech issues which includes double clicks. For example the Logitech Pro Superlight 2 or the Logitech 502 X Lightspeed shouldn't have that issue.
V3 wireless is the best mouse I’ve ever used I thought the money was too much till I used it
Thanks for this excellent review. It does the best job in explaining how the wireless system especially with the dock works. It's expensive but when you think about the fact that you use it a lot everyday it's worth it. Worst part about this is it's from Razer and they make you sign in to use the software

this mouse is great, if it would work, you pay a crazy premium to have this thing wireless when like half of the currently in circulation don't even work, their wireless dongles don't work at all forcing you to run this thing wired. if anybody knows a fix to this feel free to let me know
I've been using "gaming" mice for over 2 decades. I've never bought one that didn't have the option to switch the scroll wheel between tactile and free. As far as I'm concerned, that's a standard feature. If the mouse doesn't have that, it's sub-standard.
You can’t be more wrong. The absolute majority of gamers do not need that feature in any gaming genre you can name. It is more for office work and honestly a gimmick for „gaming“ mice. That is why almost no gaming mouse has that feature. In almost 25 years of gaming this is my first mouse ever to have it and bro I had fun and competitive mice over the years. Absolutely not „sub standard“ as you called em😂

Not really worth it imo. You can get the basilisk ultimate for half off at the moment and it's basically the same thing. Sure whatever 30k dpi or Bluetooth, new dock but honestly not much has changed to justify a 200 dollar price tag. The basilisk ultimate isn't much different and you can get it for 80 dollars. No one even games on 30k dpi so there's no point to that. But if you really care about Bluetooth or a smart scroll wheel then hey that's you. If you got 200 dollars to burn that's on you. Imo you should just wait for a sale or buy the basilisk ultimate

Certainly not as good as the Legendary Ambidextrous Razer Taipan! Possibly the BEST mouse ever made. Why do companies discontinue great products only to be replaced with inferior quality and performance cheap crap? The Taipan was comfortable and well-balanced. Access to the fully programmable buttons as well as macro programmability, which would change on the fly when switching to other applications. 3DSMAX, MAYA, ZBRUSH, PHOTOSHOP, UNREAL ENGINE 4 & 5. The Taipan made working within these applications a shear dream! Now we are left with the half-@ssed crap pushed upon the masses.

Razer decided sometime in 2022 to force everyone to create a Razer ID and log into their account to retain their savings on their peripherals using Razer's bloaty software. YOU CAN NO LONGER SAVE YOUR BASIC COLOR SETTINGS UNLESS YOU SIGN UP. Of course, many people have already purchased peripherals from Razer before this forced adoption. I tested it using a new account and a new email and sure enough, I started getting spammed by random emails. Razer data-mines you and this practice utterly fucking deplorable to force users to sign up for their account to use the functions on their peripherals without telling disclosing this fact on the product. No one should be buying Razer products until they stop this practice!!!
