That looks insane whaaat, when did the Modding Scene get this independent?
I couldn't play sims 4 if it wasn't for the amazing modding community.
I'm not quite sure what I'm looking at with this mod, but anything which allows for a change of background scenery is extremely welcome.
Wasn’t the scenarios feature already kind of present in older games? Like sims 2, where if you pick an existing family, they already have memories, relationships, and pre-programmed story that they went through, and you as a player get thrown into the middle of it? Or am I thinking of a different thing. Even pre made families were programmed with a narrative, like in sims 2 with the family of just six orphans, who’s parents and foster parents passed away, leaving them on their own. The family was set with a somewhat low simoleon amount, with all of the kids having a fear of death of a loved one, and dreams of wanting to succeed in the future in one way or another, as well as having a preset strong family bond. Then another family (don’t remember their name) was like some sort of rich family with family drama, where sibling are set to always fight. Like how come sims 2 gave so much more personality to the preset families
I feel like playing Sims 2 rn
I feel like there were a couple Sims 2 tie ins that had scenarios as like the entire thing. Like The Sims Pets Stories. Where one household was a painter trying to train her Dalmatian for agility and another was some chef having to deal with his sister’s crazy cat she left with him.
Closer to sims 2 stories series
+++
the orphans were the Nelson family. the rich family where the siblings are fighting the Pleasant family. And they both had family trees with ancestors.
I’m kinda keeping my expectations low as I’ve learned to with this franchise. I think scenarios is a great idea in theory, but I won’t say much until I see how it all plays
I think that eventually it will be modded to perfection anyway.
Yeah same. At this point you never know what will be a hit or not when it comes to EA
Most of the changes that have been announced recently sound quite good at first glance. But deep down I think that in the end it will fail again because of the implementation...
Best bet. Also, I think most players are familiar with challenges or created their own rags to riches stories. So the scenario thing is far from original or offers anything new.
They already have something kind of like that in "Story Mode" or whatever it is. When you start with a pre-built sim. Granted it just doesn't work all that well, or at all with with mods.
In conclusion. Could be good, probably will be disappointing
As pointed it, it's already something simmers are doing without the feature officially added. So it's a pointless addition. The only thing they're transparent about is not knowing what simmers want, along with wanting our money.
As usual
As usual
the sims team really don't get it what people want and at this point this is just sad...
"find love after a breakup" even though sims don't remember or feel anything or care when they're dumped lol Honestly, until they make relationships and general existence more dynamic for sims its hard to get excited for any of it. I'll be more excited if its a hint for an upcoming romance pack but otherwise... sounds like it will be just as shallow as sentiments were. I'm also really not excited for this new update delivery thing, where they break my game but don't give me any patch notes to warn me about it
I doubt a new hair or some item will break your game, that's one thing I'm not worried about
They did fix it. Sentiments fixed this issue.
@@TheOG-GG I don't feel like Sentiments made any real difference, and some of them are annoying, like the workaholic one. People can go to work every day without being workaholics
@@TheOG-GG Sentiments definitely did not fix the issue.
@@limiv5272 you're confusing sentiments with lifestyles. The workaholic is a lifestyle from Snowy Escape, not sentiment
Thank you for making a bite sized summary. I can’t always afford the time to watch the entire stream or a reaction of the full stream. This gave me the highlights and an appropriate amount of sarcasm. Thank you!! 👍🏻
How can they call “Finding Love After a Breakup” a challenge when you can get married to complete stranger in one sim day?? What is the challenge here? Getting rid of the sad emotion? Two paintings and romantic lamp in the room and your sim have never been sad Knowing Sims 4 they for sure won’t add new mechanics or change anything deeper than UI level so I don’t expect dumped sims to fail flirting more or the house set up to having half of furniture as sometimes happens after break up. Even these changes are a surface level and quite boring but I am very sure even they won’t be present in the game Even in DHD pack all they added was new UI, no lines of actual gameplay in the code. What else can we expect from the free update
Also I am so used to the phrase “i will keep my expectations low” in sims community that when I read “i will keep my expectations reasonable” to ConcernedApe’s new game it was like a cultural shock for me lol. Like… you can say it like this too??😂
In their defense, the sad moodlet is actually quite devastating lol 🥺
@@ravengyal three paintings and two lamps then😂
@@MayLina I do agree that moods needs to be updated, but I would never put objects in my sim's home to change their mood. I don't even like enabling the emotional aura in special objects. It's great that those are possible in the game for people who want them, but for me that's not a fun way to play.
I feel you! I like things like legacy, money challenges (even tho those aren't that hard), bc at least I can manufacture a challenging environment. But ones like broken heart seem like it would take too much effort on my part to make it fun
OMG the laugh after the window segment 💀💀 Thank you for bringing the sarcasm while still being informative!
I'd be more interested in pack refreshes, people already do scenarios without the need for them being in game.
Just to quote Plumbella, they're nice for people who struggle with keeping track of what's going on in their game. Which is definitely nice and helpful. So I'm not too mad.
@@birdgirl8390 if people can't keep track of what's going on in their own game then they need to get it together. How hard is it seriously... 🙄
Agreed some old packs need help, outdoor retreat dine out get to work .
IKR, i'm doing my own right now where I add a lot challenge every time a new sim gets added to the family, either by marriage or woohoo lol, also it's on a mini-house lot.
@@TheDemonRaven333 if you play the hundred baby challenge, i see how people could struggle to keep count. besides, some people switch between dozens of different saves or don’t get to play often so they can’t recall every detail when they start back up months later. it’s not like it’s a character flaw, if people can’t keep track of this stuff it’s literally bc the organization & recall parts of their brain don’t work correctly, or they’re on heavy medication, they’ve got brain fog, etc. people with impaired concentration, memory issues, or cognitive problems play Sims too. why mock & dismiss people for struggling with this?
Commenting for the algorithm
doing gods work
Comment so that window can arrive earlier
joining in on the algorithmancing for Carl. Thanks to EA he is going to have to live off this video for the next few months after all.
same
Love you Carl 💕
No doubt these Scenarios are going to fall flat by comparison to existing creator Sims 4 Challenges. Just add more clunky gameplay mechanics that I won't ever use, ignoring existing and well-documented in-game bugs. It's fine. I'll keep going along with it. 🙄
excited to see what modders do with scenarios more than what EA does, lol
Me too 😁
Yass modders will make it awesome!
Lol
It pisses me off that they’re going to blatantly rip off of simmers challenges that we’ve been doing for years and calling it innovative
Yeah the Money Scenario literally had me going, "So, the Rags To Riches Challenge that's been a thing for years?" What a head scratcher!
So just like the home decorator pack when you can already go into homes and redo them, we're getting scenarios that the community already does as well? I already do money challenges, baby challenges and runaway teen challenges so whats the point of this? No doubt someone is going to be excited though.
Maybe it'll be interesting for players that aren't active in the Sims community and don't already know of all the community made challenges.. I certainly wasn't aware until just a few years ago, despite already playing the games from Sims 1 😅
i think it's nice that these scenarios are officially recognized in the game instead of having to play pretend. like teens don't ever run away in this game, and there's no function for that to happen and however the sim feels about their past is just in your head. tbh i'm not very hopeful that scenarios will even be done well but sims actually knowing what happened to them is a small improvement imo
I don't really see how this is meaningfully different from playing an existing family, except you have the goals picked out for you. Like when you jump into an existing family usually there's some implied challenges and implied backstory like coming off a bad breakup or something.
I expected quizzes in live mode like the ones we have in the CAS. 🙁 There's already a goal in the game about getting 1 million simoleons. What's the point of this scenario? Saving us time on enabling the cheats? What's the point of starting your Sims life in an already furnished house? Love your honest "enthusiasm" announcing this new update. Never change.
I read scenarios and I was hoping they would be like TS2, like parties or putting your kid in a private school...
I'm not mad about the "Scenarios" feature per se, but with the timing. Why now, of all things this game lacks? Oh, and hello Carl! Hope you're doing fine, love your content, bro :)
Probably because of marketing for TS5. Don't be surprised to learn that they've started working on it
I would like to see more longer, let’s play type content like the Super Sim series. I don’t play the sims at all but I enjoy your soothing narration style and sense of humor a lot!
I'm pretty sure after all these years, Carl is pretty much done with LP's. I can't remember the last one he did, and even though I do miss them, I understand completely why he doesn't do them. Burnout is REAL in The Sims 4 with so little in the game, even after all these years. I'd be surprised if he even played on his own for fun anymore!
I like those videos too. But let's be honest, there's not much content to play a "Let's Play"
The way I understood Scenarios was that you had to go out to the main menu of the game to trigger it, i.e. the game itself won't recognize that e.g. you've broken up with a Sim and then offers you to play the scenario. Going out to the main to trigger it is not an immersive way of playing the game. Thus I'll probably forget about the scenario while I'm playing, i.e. the only time I'll see it is when I start up the game. However, due to the fact that I play the game for a solid 5-8h straight and then I won't touch it for like a month 1,5 later, I will have no clear recollection of where I was in my gam. Therefore I probably won't be sure if it's a fitting time to start a scenario or not.
These scenarios feature kind of reminds me of the Sims Life Stories and a bit of Castaway Stories, where you play a sim with a storyline and/or a set goal to play out. But, most likely not as in-depth and more just giving you a set aspiration for the household and hopefully giving a sort of challenge. But, as the Carl stated, people already do as such for stuff like challenge let's play you can watch on KZhead. Sort of similar to Rags to riches. But, hopefully they'll give more scenarios with more variety to try out. 😀
Learning that scenarios aren’t in game and are just sims challenges is just annoying. But what pisses me off is that they take things from packs and put them in base game which is unfair to the people who bought the pack. I don’t see why they cant make one new hair instead of taking it from people who paid??
I was just thinking the same thing. How hard could it be for them to create one toddler hair?
This really annoys me too
They could release every single item I have brought and give it to the base game and I would be happy. How does doing that affect you?
@@freeasabird4659 Why should anyone pay for content if they are going to give it away? how does it affect me? It doesn't directly but it is a slap in the face. I paid for it so should others, same as I dislike when people pirate the game. It is an opinion and if it doesn't bother you then great give your money over for nothing in return. That is your choice and your opinion.
@@freeasabird4659 Maybe you aren’t bothered by it but that doesn’t mean I can’t be. I don’t think its fair to the people who paid for the thing they bought to be released for free. I wasn’t mad when they did that with the calendar but if they keep doing this I’m gonna have a problem with it.
I'm mad that I spent all my money on this game and have gotten so bored that I haven't played it in a year 😓 it's more fun to watch your videos than to play the game. Thank you for keep us informed and keeping things fun.
Agree. I don’t actually want to know how much I spent on it.
Mods make the game so much fun. Can't live without mods.
@@Usernamee4687 what mods do you recomend?
Nice to hear from you. I get it, it's been real dry in the sims world. Look forward to your expanding content next year. Take care.
I'm going to throw a comment on top of yours because it's relevant. Others might see it of course so it's worth saying. when you are in a position like me and you have people that follow you for one thing you have to be careful because you never know if that one thing might just vanish. there are a lot of aspects of my life that would be affected by The Sims team just pulling out and disappearing for a year or two so I am being careful is the news is dry I am not saying much and if they have something interesting I am going to be here to talk about it all day but in the meantime I'm expanding my skills and broadening my horizons. someday I hope text-to-speech is better and can understand when a sentence begins and ends but for now you'll understand why it this is a little sloppy. thanks for the comment and I hope to do a lot more videos.
You are my favourite Sims channel when it comes to Sims news, reviews, and opinions! I've been a follower (starting with the website) since The Sims 3 days! Thank you for always making high quality and informative (and funny) videos ❤
My others favourite Sims channels are Plumbella, Whiny Brit, FakeGamerGirl, and, recently, Petey Plays It, if anyone's interested :)
Honestly, this is dumb af. No regrets on hopping off this train a long time ago. This vid caught my attention because of it saying new features.. I can add my own scenarios any time I want without EA babying me about it or forcing me into picking one. But have fun to all the people who still play sims 4, hope it’s not really as dumb and boring as it sounds.
It is SO boring
I don't play sims 4 much anymore since it started pandering to the whiny tiny woke crowd. It also sounds like there are other simmers who are sick and tired of the woke pandering too. Sims 4 is on it's way to the grave. Get woke, go broke as they say lol.
@@purpledinosaur7188 honestly I enjoy playing sims 2 and 3 a lot more when I have the time. If I had sims 1 I’d even play that over sims 4, there’s just a lot more surprises and fun.. the sims themselves surprise you.
@@MagnumPatrol Yeah sims 1 was great! I could only play sims 1 and 2 on ps2 tho. But regardless, I agree with you.
A scenario gamemode is something that I definitely think will help flash out gameplay, it's surprise they only thought to add it out this late in the series
A memories system would be sick, I mean it kind of gives a bit more history to the world your Sims live. P.s link Johnny Zest to the Landgraabs 😂
His Bio covers it though! That’s the only link EA needs
So, if I chose too many toddlers, and my sim completed it, then later died from old age, do I pick a new scenario with one of the kids? or is that just meant to be the end of the game lol I've gotten really fed up of the generational gameplay. I'd have several new sims I raised from toddlers, but if I want to play with just one, the other six will die unemployed, friendless, no family, etc.. It's so lifeless and boring... idk if the sims 4 team are uncreative or if higher ups are squashing their creativity or what, but this just sucks
Try turning off Sim aging or extending their lives when your kids age out of the home, so they don't die alone and jobless 😂 poor Sims! That way you, can at least experience the joy of your offspring into adulthood. It's cumbersome to juggle that many families sometimes though, and I'll admit that once we reach Elder status, those Sims may as well be dead to me.
For some reason too many toddlers sounds to me like the 100 baby challenge but they know that with a hundred babies you can get a lot of simulation lag so they were just going to drop that number down
From what was presented, I suppose you could click the Scenario button on the main menu and pick an existing save. That option, however, won't be available when the feature launches, Scenarios will only be available to new saves.
@@victornoboru I understood that differently. Duck said we CAN play in old saves from launch, "just" NOT with existing families in those old saves. So we'll have to make a new household for the scenario, but they can exist in a save that isn't new and meet Sims you've already played in their welcome wagon, basically..
It looks like the scenario it's for all the family/group not only a sim.
I wasn't expecting them to port a full-fat version of Bustin' Out for the base game, but I expected something akin to a *heavily trimmed* version. They have the Aspirations system already; they could *easily* use that to create a Bustin' Out-style tutorial-esque Scenario. I *hope* this system is much more ambitious under the hood and modders can actually make something akin to the console Sims games.
Haha how heavily the community including EA relies on these modders now. Fun times.
Jumping over into Paralives news sounds like a great idea.
So, no fixing or refining base game content but, instead adding more things that will probably have little to no impact to the overall gameplay experience. And the only thing that is a expansion on gameplay is something not even made by the Sims team. Disappointed but, not surprised. I'm neutral to having disabilities in the game but, it being one number on the list is a issue. Live mode is ironically lifeless and gameplay elements like emotions, relationships and life stages feel empty. Don't build a house on a uneven and unfinished foundation. Feels like the Sims team gave up on the game and it feels like I am too. Edit: The CAW mod looks spectacular. I feel this mod will be like a blend of Sims 2's neighborhood creation and CAW in Sims 3.
The best part of all of this is literally CAW mod. Ooof. I'm legit excited for that though!
Excited to hear the mention on nostalgic content! Would love to see some sims 3 or even 2 video content from you. You 1000% HELD ME DOWN during the sims 3 era and help me so much with TS4 too. Wish I’d had you back in the sims 2 days, or even now, as I just started playing that one again and am a tad lost at times… ha
I think scenarios could be pretty cool depending on how well they could work with the various challenges. Or better yet, let us create the scenarios! It would be nice to more or less have something keeping track for me if I were to do the 100 baby challenge, and being able to restrict my sim from getting a job or getting married (just to remember that it's a part of the rules or whatever) could be very handy and fun.
That's what I thought, but it doesn't sound like they're planning to let players make new challenges, for... reasons...
@@limiv5272 Well at least I had no hope to begin with, so it's not like I'll be disappointed
This. Scenario really reminds of The Sims game like castaway and urbz, but if the challenge is only available by default and not customable, it's hopeless
To be honest it seems like they are slowing down with the sims 4, and they seem to be giving up. Like no new packs for the rest of the year, only kits 🤮
I'm fine with no new packs, I don't think we need new packs so often (it's better if they have time to do it right than rush things). It seems they're focusing on improving the old ones and BG, and I'm really happy with that
@@deborah2763 I feel like they are pushing the kits to make money. I hope they have a good reason for stopping the faith pack schedule, the problem is Spa day update came with more bugs, I hope if they do it, they do it right the first time
I wonder if it’s because many people stopped playing it and they are seeing the numbers drop? They barely tried before and let the modders fix most of their game that’s still broken even with mods. But this is only an opinion/assumption since I see people comment how they stopped playing.
@@s.t.8060 There's no money to be made for them in improving the base game. More likely this is the drop off before they release TS5.
I’ve already been briefed on the “update stream” but I came here for the extreme sarcasm and disappointment I needed to hear!
Thanks for covering the stream, good to see you in my notices! Hope you're doing well and having a great week! Best of wishes.
The tone...oh carl....you're 1 of a kind
Ooooh paralives update I'll be watching! Something to be excited about there! I thought scenarios sounded neat when I saw people's video titles but I can't believe how basic the money one was lol. Felt very out of touch as a lot of people do this already and they're adding nothing to it. Step one, create sim, step two, make a million dollars. Ok sims. Maybe would have been better to wait until they at least had 4 before releasing? Not a very exciting fall/winter season for Sims :/
It’s just like setting an aspiration for your sim.. like earning that 100k and jumping to a new goal. Only I guess now it’s for the whole household.. ohhhh yayyy funnnn 🙄
great shout out to mexi, his CAW looks amazing
CARL!! It's great to hear from you! I haven't seen any new videos from you lately. Glad to know you're okay!
excited for the new year and seeing what nostalgic content you'll be doing on the channel! i've watched your whole super sim series and really enjoyed it!
I would love new nostalgia content! As it stands, I get that from rewatching your reviews of TS3 expansions.
As always, thank you for your videos! Had no idea anything new had been announced so I appreciate you giving us the breakdown.
Thank you so much for this summary! I was too lazy to watch the 2-hour stream, but wanted to know what it was all about 😄
I'm not holding my breath, Carl. The best packs, kits and addons have been from modders. The sad part is without them I wouldn't even be touching my copy of Sims4... Go to School Meaningful Moods Slice of Life Brookheights Dunkin Brands Pufferhead Stuff Ugh and even scuzzy Wicked Wims are far better than what we've recieved from EA/Maxis. I thank all the modders for the overlays, clothing, bb recolors and reskins. After all that vanilla is nearly unplayable for me.
Same. I'd stopped playing for months after the release, it was Wicked Whims and Basemental that made it playable for me.
scenarios only interest me because i can never play long enough to care about finishing my own scenarios (and i usually get too overwhelmed by having to do everything myself) so maybe by having something i can actually tick off and have a tracker thing for, i may have more reason to do it, if that makes sense? but then again, maybe not. Shall have to wait and see i guess
So happy to hear from you again, even if there's nothing really going on in sims news!
It sure was great to here from you Carl, you were missed!
Hi Carl! Feels like it's been ages, glad you're here with us! Thanks for the summary, too! (I watched part of the stream, but was underwhelmed and bored, not interested in scenarios, I play with Sims I raised, only rarely with actually newly created Sims or families)
Glad to see you back ❤️
Just excited to see this in my feed! Missed you ❤
I am so late on saying this but I missed all of you as well
I can't wait for your reaction to when scenarios are live.
thanks for the video, carl!!
Spiral staircase. Normal diving board. PULL YOUR HEADS IN, MAXIS! Listen to people who buy your product. The options for this game are endless. I personally hope they'll make a space station, but I'm not holding my breath.
Wow I didn't even get a notification for this, I just randomly decided to look up your channel.
Yaaay! Missed you, Carl. I hope you are doing well. :)
Good to see a video from you ☺️ I hope you are doing well
As ever an amazing video, well thought out. I agree with the point u made. The scenarios are challenges and maybe that's what they are going for
The current Sims dev team doesn't seem to understand what the sandbox genre is like how earlier Sims games were. We don't need premade challenges of things we already make up in-game.
Yay been waiting for your video Carl!!! My go to dude for all Sims!!! Carl as much as I follow your tutorials for mods and CC I can't figure it out. Mods in the other Sims 1 through 3 were easy ! I know it's something small I'm not doing right. No other sim KZheadrs will answer my cry for help. 🤞 ✌️💜🙏 ✌️🖤🙏
I've been looking forward to a new video from you
Its a good thing I kept my expectations low
The reason I am against disabilities coming to sims is this: I had cancer and Sims4 was the only place I could escape from my illness. Sims4 helped me cope psychologically get through it. I like playing a game where no one has a serious illness. Cancer was terrible, I don't wish to be reminded of its horrors. I have seen too many die and become disabled by it.
Great video as always
What would we do without you! A million thank yous!!!!
Thanks because I wasn’t sitting thru the livestream
commenting for algorithm! youre the only sims content creator i watch :) youre straight to the point and deserve more views!
I am grateful you think of me and try that way thank you so much
Missed you, Carl! I was just wondering where you were today but I guess there hasn’t been much to report on 😅
thanks for another informative video.
Happy to do so :)
Carl, you're the best in the game my guy! Keep doing what you do!!
I missed you, Carl! ❤️
It’s becoming fairly clear that development on TS4 is now just being used as a cash cow as the development of TS5 rushes ahead, meaningful content is fairly unlikely to be added to the game at this point. I wonder if we’ll ever get those spiral staircases.
the scenario challenges are like the goals in 2 point hospital, which i actually really like , so im hoping theyll be good.
This scenario thingy reminds me of that campaign mode you had in the sims medieval where you had objectives with certain sims to be satisfied in order to win.
I'll take a Dine Out refresh, thanks.
Thank you for watching the livestream so I don't have to. I try but find it soo boring. I find you 100% more entertaining.
thanks for the video :)
We’ve missed you carl
looking forward for that “nostalgia content”!
Yay!!!! I'm disabled so I'm excited!!!! I didn't know the petition existed but I know discussion within the community has gone on for years.
I'm more excited about what you have planned for next year than I am the current updates/expansions of Sims 4.
The scenarios, players have been doing them since day dot on TS4. Sure, some players might not know of some of the challenges, but wouldn't be too hard to do. With two sims i have, am doing a rags to riches type one with them, with the second of the two sims having done a runaway teen one. So really, these "scenarios" are nothing new at the end of the day, they are just being shown directly in-game to you. So yes, nothing new with them honestly, with what we know about them so far.
Sims team: here are some challenges ig, using the stale/broken mechanics of our current game TwistedMexi: **releasing a literally world-changing mod soon** aw how cute
Thank you for that summary! Lol don’t have time to watch them talk and talk and talk 🤣
Am I the only remembers and LOVED the TLR (the Sims Resource's) Challenge Scenario Wizard thing for Sims 2?
Those were AWESOME! It was also nice to play with the families after the challenges were over. It looks like those were more in depth than these Scenarios, I'm afraid.
Scenarios would be cool if they would put in the challenges that are hard to keep track of. The standard legacy challenge is really hard to keep track of and it would be great if there was an in game feature telling me if I had already used this or that trait for a sim when I'm on the 5th gen. Money though is really easy to keep track of in game especially if you start with nothing and doesn't seem like something you need. I'm hopeful that even if they don't add in the hard challenges that modders will.
So scenarios are just "one or two steps removed out of an aspiration except without the reward?" Yikes. Looking forward to those future videos you mentioned at the end, those seem like neat topics!
Me: I need more depth EA: uh, we program sims 4 challenges into game Wow, 500 years late kind of idea. Not really what some of us asked for. Not even needed, but it's not Batuu, so 🤷 There's no real winning as a player when it comes to EA
Idk why on watching this, I will still continue to play sims 3..but I like your voice :)
Scenarios SOUND interesting but seem to be an extension to aspirations, I personally think it would be better if they just updated the aspirations so they mattered and had more depth but I mean it’s nice to see the sims team trying to fix the game
If they can actually make it where they don't break mods in the future, I'll be happy, but that sounds to me like Sims 5 is coming out late 2022. We all know they're wrapping up Sims 4 (at least within a few years for sure) but why else would they say no new worlds and worry about mods (or at least, promise not to break them) unless they're not really doing anything that involves coding after a certain point in time? Definitely makes me think Sims 5 is coming sometime soon. I also suspect there won't be a lot of Pack refreshes and it's possible no major bug fixes but then I'd be much happier if they did that first. Also, LilSimsie was like "I know nothing" and I believe her because when it comes to Sims 5 we don't even know what sort of system they'll have in place to promote the game among streamers so why would they bother to tell the current Game Changers? It'd give them a leg up but that just makes it more likely something will get leaked.
Ugh, this game just won't go away. No matter what they keep adding, it doesn't fix the fundamental issues the game has.
More challenges and storytelling are exactly what I'm looking for ... also I still want a proper apocalyptic setting. Zombies nukes aliens, I don't care just as long as survival can be difficult.
The fact that I don't even watch the Sims streams anymore, I just wait for Carl 😂
I think it's interesting to consider what happens if they add more existing challenges to the game. I know these challenges have been around forever, so idk if you can track creators, but things like the million simoleons scenario is basically a legacy start with a twist. Do the originators of these challenges get paid? Like say they did the 100 baby challenge as a scenario. Just curious!
Memo to me: stop expecting EA to listen to our demands, they never listen!
I guess if nothing else, being able to set up a rags to riches scenario with the click of a button and maybe get a badge or something after is a nice convenience.
