I'm merely in my fourties, but talking to kids these days about how my childhood looks like feels like being at least in my sixties, if I compare it to the stories from older folks back when I was a kid. It's all moving so damn fast, and getting faster by the year. Might be that Oldtimer's won't even be a problem any more, because we will all get external harddrives attached.

I've become such a huge fan of Norm Macdonald since he passed from this earth. Like a painter who becomes world known after their death.
I am SO sad I wasn’t into Norm’s content before. I am now watching all the clips and documentaries. Norm is unique, and absolutely genius
He just starts talking and it's already funny af, no effort, just Norm
In a perfect world, Norm would have been the host of a network late night show. I know he would have hated it, but it would have been amazing.
Norm live was way better than ALL late night talk shows
It would have been amazing until it got canceled after three weeks.
He had Sports Show but got cannned
@@calvinjluther But we would have those 3 weeks of shows recorded forever!
He kind of had one but went after OJ.
He was a great host of the Sports Show, and he’ll continue to make millions laugh with these gems on KZhead
He was a real jerk
That's one of the very few shows that I watched from the very beginning, and it was great. It even had the Kyle Mooney interview bits which never get old.
Fred Willard and Norm are now dead. The world is crumbling. We are losing everything that makes us want to live.
Conan is still alive?
My favorite part is the short clip. Makes me laugh every time. 🤣
Sure.
"Bluestocking, any of a group of ladies who in mid-18th-century England held “conversations” to which they invited men of letters and members of the aristocracy with literary interests. The word has come to be applied derisively to a woman who affects literary or learned interests" Actually such a brutal roast, gotta love Norm.
The gipsy bit was simply hilarious 🤣🤣🤣
That 1 second clip absolutely impaled me, how spoiled are we? RIP Norm
Norm taught me how to be an optimist. Though I still fear death (like he did) I now look for the silver lining. I can't wait to get oldtimers disease so I can see Norm's bits for the first time again on the TEE-v.
Alzheimer’s
@@dormie9 Whooooosh!
I wonder if by then TEE-v will still be a thing.
Norm has a bit for everything Conan has to ask him. It's absolutely amazing to watch.
Almost like it’s scripted tv!
Just as I was about to say "I can't believe Conan missed the opportunity to have Norm switch seats with him and act like a talk show host", he goes and does it lol
Seeing Fred and Norm next to each other was to much they are both such one of a kind comedians that can’t be replaced
"Sure" lol
A real meeting of the mind
I thought I’ve seen everything and every appearance Norm has done but I missed this one then it was just everything!! So great.
The most unforgettable, action-packed, 1 minute in late-night talk show history.
i lost it when he said he's been studying it like a full blown jesuit. i was in tears
8:00 Not easy to realize how tall they all are: Conan (6'3¾", 192 cm), Andy (6'1", 185 cm), Fred (6'1½", 187 cm), Norm (6'2", 188 cm).
Excellent.
I did not know that.
Like the Monty Python skit about the archaeologists competing for height!
I had NO idea Andy was so tall. I guess being around Conan makes anyone look short!
Norm was tall, but his hands are small in comparison
I love how when he first came out for the monologue part he seemed to embody the mannerisms of Johnny Carson. In fact I think the band played a bit of the Johnny Carson intro music if I heard that right.
God bless Conan o'brien for always looking out for Norm MacDonald!!!
Love that Norm used the term bluestocking. Was a term literary women took on as a badge of honor and there are still bookstores in major cities that go by the name but it is comically archaic which is what he does so well.
That beautiful man was so jovial this night - I’ve never seen this one!
Norm, come back! Thank you for posting.
That last “thank you” is priceless
When Andy said “sure”, I lost it.
Thats a legit amazing 60secs of uncut comedy omg
Conan, Norm the Scottish-gypsy, and Andy the Swedish-German. My favorite trio! (:
Why does my name lay umentioned like your potatoes au - gratin.......always a new treat love ya buddy
This is RAD - RIP Norm the gypsy maniac he was. RIP Fred - amazing talents. We need some serious top shelf comics to fill these shoes.
I always feel bad how he got no respect because of his gypsy faith
Andrew Schulz and Mark Normand
Man. 1 min. of Norm = the last 10 seasons of SNL ..
I am a huge norm fan and yet have never seen this clip. It made me so happy!
This is a great clip, made even better by Fred Willard's appearance. Thanks for posting 😃
I cannot stop laughing. I am crying. That Gypsy bit was hilarious.
Holy shit that clip was hilarious. Norm you were a talent! Miss you.
I don’t think Norm even knew how funny he was. One of a kind for sure. RIP buddy.
Oh, he definitely knew. He was always trying to make *himself* laugh before anyone else.
RIP Norm. The real hero here is Fred. Legend.
Finally found the gypsy-bit, one of my favourite Norm-bits.
That "Thank you" at the end feels genuine
For some reason this makes me love Fred Willard so much more and he didn't even do anything.
Didn't do anything? He hustled his ass across the stage!
& he brought a clip
If I was in the audience and was lucky enough to see Norm....and then one of my comic heros Fred Willard it would be a day I'd cherish for my lifetime.
My sides hurt from laughing so hard at this!! A gem of a post...but it reminds of how much I miss Nor my on the late night TV circuit.
Better to have loved and lost or summat, I dunno, I'm just riffin here...
@@HeraldJohnson Are you quizzling? Sorry, don't know what that word means 😂
@@sameerzade4319 I've never been called a quisling...
Norm interviewing a guest would have been the greatest thing to watch.
If you haven't yet, search for "archive norm macdonald live" and/or watch "Norm Macdonald Has a Show" on Netflix
@@HeraldJohnson Yes! Some excellent interviews on that show mainly because Norm is an intellectual giant masquerading as a dumb ass.
I'll never stop watching Norm
Norm was a hurricane of fun, laughter, and impeccable wit that passed in our lifetimes in the blink of an eye. Trully, one of a kind.
Even though Norm is gone, the gift of his comedy and spirit in these clips makes you feel that he is immortal and we are so blessed to have him immortal in our lifetimes
That "thank you" to the audience in the last second sounded so sincere, I hope Norm knew how many fans he had. Or at least they call themselves fans but really they hate his fucking guts
His name should've been in it. We miss you. rest in peace
literally everything that comes out of his mouth is funny
Oh NO!
God, I miss Norm so fucking much
Hey bro, I saw this clip for the first time, for someone who is not in US and introduced to norm 6 years back. I subscribed to your channel for more. Good job bro
A true comic genius
Wherever you are. I love you Norm.
currently stuck, as many of you have been yourselves, in a Norm Macdonald you-tube loop... and I don't mind being here at all!
comedy died on september 14th 2021
I don’t know what I just watched.
When I see clips like this , I feel sympathy for OJ knowing that he can now never kill Norm Macdonald.
When Fred was on Norms podcast I couldn’t stop laughing, they were both so amazing and funny! 🥹
Pure gold!! Dang it I spit out my beer 3 times laughing so hard.
Damn Fred & Norm. RIP to two of my favorites.
He called him co-nan purposely because Conan introduced him as Mcdonald instead of MACdonald.
Sounds like a solid dude, what a shame that the world no longer enjoys his grace.
I can’t believe anyone still watches late-night talk shows. Norm would have been the only one I’d make an exception for.
He was a legend while he was still here. He always will be one of the best comedians ever. Among many other legends.
Norm should’ve been a talk show host. We would’ve had hundreds more hours of epic Norm material.
Norm's corpse would still carry more charisma than the hack hosts who make up the current Late Shows.
Fred, the other truly missed comedy legend
Greatest 60-second audition ever.😂
That was the greatest 1 minute of television I’ve ever seen
Genius beyond words!
Nobody worked better with Norm than Conan.
We miss you more than you know, Norm.
The banter back and forth is comic genius
Norm was just amazing! I was laughing in tears at that bit 😂
Greatest guest E V E R with one of the greatest hosts
We miss him so much.
The best part about this bit is how Norm pretends he thinks there aren't gypsies that actually do this. Its pretty common in Northern England that Irish "travellers" will come knock your door and tell you somethings wrong with the roof. Then a week later you get robbed
The gypsies used to come into our family business in Dublin. My Dad would go on FULL Red Alert! It was funny. You had to watch them like a hawk.
@@Paulco67 Pretty risky joke for Norm to make. I guess he was banking on an American audience not having the experience with them to jump on the taboo subject. Conan can be pretty raunchy but I'm surprised he let that one slide so easily.
Decades of late night talk shows summarized in one minute.
Rest in peace Norm and Fred
In a way he had one, his podcast. Which is a thing of legends.
Andy at the end saying “Bye Fred!” and waving to him off screen is fuckin’ gold lol
Norm was bubbling with great fun. We lost him way too soon. Thankfully -- "You Tube" has recorded his brilliance. He never wanted to tell us about his leukemia. Love 'ya, Norm! * Cav *
Never seen this before, it was awesome.
Can't believe they gypped Gypsy Jack like that!
