I mean you've got foreshortening, motion, decent proportions and composition, all going on in these drawings from when you were a kid. That's nuts. • For Bigtop Burger, I really wish you did a commentary version where you explain all the little things. I love that I could watch it with zero background and just enjoy how whimsical it is. Yet I definitely want to know more of what is going on in the inner machinations of your mind. Based on your curtains, it is an enigma. Also my fav song is the wire one, whatever that is called.

  • You know, funnily enough, hearing that Worthikids is not always motivated 100% of the time actually makes me feel a little bit better about my own struggles with motivation. I always am in this mindset that great creative minds have this huge store of motivation that I just couldn't hope to ever keep up with - but knowing that even one of the greatest and most creative animating minds of our time struggles with keeping up the motivation is...kind of a nice comforting thing to know, in a world that constantly demands output from us.

    @Introbulus@Introbulus2 ай бұрын
    • Worthikids actually has a song about promising to draw things but not being able to keep those promises and feeling guilty about it. It’s called Dullahan. I also like the whole EP it’s on, if you’re willing to listen to the whole thing. It’s only four songs.

  • Knowing that cats was some thing that you only seen recently honestly came as a shock. With how integral it is to both the plot and several jokes among various videos on your channel, along with the absolutely stunning segment where we see the original clown author, I thought it must’ve been some kind of huge foundational experience for you.

  • I’m no expert but I bet that Wizard Beer being your first short is the main reason you’re only just now hitting 1 mil. You’re probably my favorite indie animator ever since all the old newgrounds guys are either youtubers, streamers, or just quietly doing big fully professional work. I was a little surprised you hadn’t done a youtube short before Wizard Beer just cos shorts do A LOT for a channels visibility. Happy for your success regardless! I don’t usually buy merch but I will probably be one of the first to buy a Bigtop Burger shirt when you make those. You genuinely excite & delight me every time I see a new animation on your channel. They’re all gold, and they have been since I started watching back in highschool.

  • This was so wonderful, informative, and long overdue. Loved your advice about starting small and building your confidence, that is definitely something I don't hear enough from other creatives. Loved the deep dive into your music and inspirations. Tim Curry's Pennywise is the only reason I watched It. LOVE your animations, keep doing what your heart tells you!

  • Yo congrats!! It’s cool to see the person behind the media. I want you to know I’m in total awe of your animation skills! In particular the short you did with Jason and the classic horror movie characters. I was a sign language minor for a while and tried to draw flashcards to study with a few times… great drawing practice but not very usable flashcards lol. The way you animated ASL will forever stick with me as a drawing goal for myself. Are you fluent in ASL? Love your music and your work, excited to see more of your stuff!!
