  • Someone may think that Cesare being “the albatross across your clavicle” is simply some random mixture of words, but it is in fact a direct reference to Samuel Taylor Cooleridge’s The Rime of the Ancient Mariner. The mariner in the poem is punished for shooting an albatross by his crew mates by being forced to wear it across his neck. Your clavicles are at the base of your neck, and a bird with such a long wingspan would surely rest over your clavicles were you draped in it. Cesare is out to catch Steve and punish him for something, and thus when he catches him, by draping him with heavy weights no less, he becomes the “albatross” across Steve’s “clavicle”. Yes I spent way too much time writing this

  • I love this show with my whole soul and heart, the expressiveness of the characters, the way they react and just how alive everything feels. Even the little drawing lines that normally get cut out for a cleaner more smooth animation you usually see in most series just adds even more I love when a show like this one leaves in some of those stray lines that were apart of creating each scene, character, everything else it just makes the show feel so much more interactive and alive. It can be called lazy to leave some stray lines you can tell were apart of when it was drawn but it gives me such ed, edd and Eddie vibes that it's almost nostalgic and something we just don't get anymore in shows. It makes it almost like with every last line that the animation is coming to life all of its own, it pops it breathes it lives and I honestly can't get over how much I fell in love with the show when I first came across a funny moments vide of it and started to watch it. Core memory and I can't wait to share the two seasons with a couple of freinds who'd love this
