    • Phil an even lovelier story is a very dear friend's house is on a couple acres bounded by a gorgeous little creek. She is slowly removing the feral species along the creek and replacing with natives. Lots of old Olives. She says I can take what I want. But one of her boys' hobby is making rustic furniture from Olive and I won't interfere with his supply. What he makes is just gorgeous. Authentic old joinery techniques with no metal fixing. I love what he does.

  • Wow Phil that was one fine piece of turning of a very hard piece of wood. My shoulder is hurting just watching you cut it. It looks amazing with those little bonus branches. When you held the bottom side up and showed the branch it looked like turtle sticking his head out. I had a lot of fun watching you do your magic on this one. Take care, Gary
