As someone who grew up using the Deathadder 2013 as his first gaming mouse, the V3 is nothing like the older deathadder aside for its name. But are the changes any good or did Razer fumble with the new redesign? But luckily, aside for the shape changes Razer did a lot of amazing changes to the V3 like the much needed lighter weight design. The DAV3 weighs in at 58grams on my scale and I feel like that is one of the biggest upgrades over the OG shapes.

Just got my DeathAdder v3 to upgrade from my DA v2. The V3 is a much better mouse but I prefer the feel and control over the V3. The V3 feels a little too light and smooth for me, it also feel worse (warmer/sticky) for someone with sweaty palms, maybe it's the texture change or the shape, the V3 is slightly "taller" than the V2. The V2 rubber grip peels off after long usage which the V3 doesn't have. So I think the V3 is not only the better product but it's also going to last longer.
As someone who grew up with the DA (ever since the guild Wars edition) I really like it's shape. But I would personally pick everything they've changed on the Dav3 and put it on the older shape, like the switches, coating, weight, performance, and the lack of side rubber grips. The stickier and warmer feeling is 100% from the texture being more rubberized, I personally enjoy the new texture a lot, and I also have sweaty palms 😅. But yeah overall shape wise I much prefer the pre V3 change, but everything else the DAV3 is a better mouse
Honestly love the review! Has almost all the details in such simple forms which what i love bout your reviews. I love gripping the deathadder essential when im just like yk moving around but sadly i use hybrid grips for minecraft which isnt suitable on the deathdder i own. But if i were to be an fps player i would love the deathdders to palm grip as i have a small hand and doing so just feels nice. The Deathadders before DAV3 are a bit more aggresive on design wise imo, while this one is just almost a whole new shape, having still some design concept from previous DAs, yet a pretty comfort one. And simple too, design wise-- Razer's deathadders are a great choice, if you're on a budget and still wants a pretty premium feeling product imo. Pretty awesome ! Again, awesome review, great work. 🎉

And yea pre DAV3 shapes are a lot more aggressive compared to the v3 but it is a lot more neutral so a lot of people could probably pick it up and use it instantly where the old DA are abit hit or miss. But personally as someone who grew up with the Older DA's, the v3 is probably the most comfortable a DA ever gotten. Once again, thanks for the amazing words 🔥!!

@@VoltaReviews performance wise it is basically what I've been asking for, a light weight rvm shape and its amazing honestly. The 3D printed part itself have a lot of sanding and cutting that I need to do myself to have it fit perfectly but once i've spent my time modding the shell it is honestly so good. Now I want to try the real RVMSE 🥲

@@VoltaReviews Yea and the fact that I had to spend half an hour just to get everything to fit by sanding and cutting down plastic really makes it feels even more personal. And I won't be picking up the RVMSE too, it is waay to expensive 💀
that cable looks so much better than what my dav3 had, the cable felt so heavy when flicking and it was curling up like crazy. Its funny you say your cable is better then the viper mini, but in my case the viper mini cable i far lighter and more flexible. i wonder if they use different cables for it in eu. and yes i returned it.
Actually the cable is quite "stiff" for my liking, not like old braided cable day stiff but just not as soft as my custom paracords. I play on 800dpi .25sens in game or roughly around 65cm/360 and doing fast/long flick on the DAV3 can get quite annoying as they will sometimes get under my hand. Now regarding the RVM cable comparison, the RVM cable is actually lighter in comparison but I find the DAV3 cable to be slightly more flexible but not by much. Both are annoying to play with anyway but thats only because I play on really slow sens, I think if i play on

@@MERZS Yo, i randomly saw your video. Just wanted to add something since i got the dav3 wired again. The cable has been updated and is much better now, its lighter and doesnt wrinkle like the old one. I suspect your dav3 is from the updated batch. anyway have a great day lol

man I just made my first custom keybaord and its red so I wanted the deathadderv3 faker edition to match but its 3x as expensive..
just get the black one and custom paint it yourself 🤣
Its a good mouse, but my copy have some problems. Scrollwheel tends to skip or it will scroll up while im scrolling down. Sometimes the left and right click wont register unless i click it again. And lastly if I flick too fast/hard my dav3 wired will disconnect, sometimes even if I'm just fixing the wire it will disconnect and its annoying specially if it occur during a gun fight.
That's tough to hear honestly. I rarely hear any qc issues on the DAV3 so thanks for the heads up
Yea its pretty tough to deal with but its ok, I'm enjoying the shape as my first deathadder mouse. As for the disconnection issue I guess it could be fixed by updating the firmware from razer but they only have the dav3 pro firmware.. or a usb firmware update from windows.

I did try but for some reason Razer said that the store where I bought my DAV3 wired is not an authorized reseller of Razer which is weird or maybe just a misunderstanding and when ever I try to contact the official razer online store from lazada its just an automated respond so I just gave up.
Got the V3 Pro for the same price so it was no brainer, still very good 🔥

Is the coating good enough for grip in the wired one or do I need to buy aftermarket grips ? I have a g pro and the coating on it makes me have to give too much effort to grip it
The coating on this mouse is quite solid, I am someone who always use griptape on mice because their texture is not grippy enough for me. Never have that issue on dav3 wired

I personally have never had any issue with my razer Mice, but if you want to change to other brands, the one that you mention are pretty solid offerings too (I personally would stay away from m42/m4 unless you can get a really solid deal on them).

7:57 nao da pra ver diferença do hearts do mouse com monitor 140hz já com 165 da pra ver uma pequena diferença e tbm o fps tem que ser no minimo uns 220 + pra notar a diferença de 1000 a 4k hz eu consigo ver mais suave e melhor pra jogar com 165hz jogando com 320 a 440 fps o fps mairo diminui o imput lag e ajuda a notar a diferença oque mais vai dar pra perceer e um monitor de 240 a 360 hz usar 4k em monitor de 140 nao faz diferença mesmo.
Hey man, how long is the cable? And is the wireless one worth it at all? I'm planning on buying the wireless one, unless they cable is long enough, any help would be appreciated as I couldn't find the cable's lenght anywhere on reddit or google
The cable length is roughly 1.8m long, and I personally prefer wireless over wired. But if you have a tighter budget or if you don't mind the cable length, I would recommend the wired over wireless one because it offers the same performances.

Both are different mice for different demographic.if you want all the features like extra buttons, infinity scroll wheel, and dont mind the slightly heavier weight, then go ahead and get the g502. DAV3 is more streamlined focusing on lower weights and all the basic feature for competitive fps gaming. Both amazing mice just depends on your priority basically.

@Alzeen-Electro hey I got the razer as I like to play br games and it's much lighter but with less buttons so it's really up to you depending on what u play and if u like the heaviness on the g502 or have a lighter mouse hope this helps or if you need more buttons get the g502 but I'm very satisfied with the razer no problems at all feels smooth hope this helps
