The God Tier Combination of ZOWIE XL2566K & DeathAdder V3
BenQ ZOWIE XL2566K and Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro are top notch for competitive gaming. Each the best in their own category at the moment. Here are my reviews for both and we are also discussing using a high polling rate mouse & display.

Great Review Haus. Really cool to see that you get the same click latency going from 8k to 4k on this mouse. That's great to know.
Thanks brother! Yeah that's the way RAZER high polling wired mice are implemented. Their wireless lineup then again do not have separate handling for click events!
How will the dav3 wired 8khz compare to rvm se 8khz? In terms of click latency and motion latency
loving the content as you also cross over more into technical in depth explanations and also the editing is on point. happy to see your continuous growth sir! do you still do live streams?
So glad to see you playing Quake Champions!
Good video! Im using VMSE 4K with Asus 1440p 360hz and the difference vs 240hz panels is pretty obvious.
Yes, the difference between 1k and 4k is definitely obvious!
Great video. Would love if you could do some testing on the hyper x pulsefire haste 2 wireless. Love the old one so if the new has no performance issues I really want it
Thanks bro!
Hey Haus, greetings from Finland brother! Just wanted to know if it's worth to switch from 144 to 240 hz? Does it really make a big difference? Keep up the great content!
Hello Haus. Great video so much info. Curious to know what desk lamps do you use? The look really cool
Thanks bro! Philips Hue Play ones!
Amazing video Haus!!
Thank you brother!
Hello buddy I really like your videos thanks! I have a question for you/ I have a zywoo kind of grip, Can u suggest me a mouse that is < 40g (the lower the better) that might fit my needs? Thanks
Hey, nice video, I bought this mouse and on windows 11 it's stuck to 125hz no matter what I set it too in the razor software??
I bought a Death Adder v2 X Hyperspeed as my travel mouse and a Death Adder v3 (wired) as my permanent home mouse for less than what a Death Adder v3 Pro costs. I'm happy that I went this route versus going for the v3 Pro.
finally u review this mouse .. i everyday wait :D
Haha, hope you enjoyed it!
yeahh , btw nice review 🫰🏽

Would love to see a video on the Pulsefire Haste 2 wireless! Mainly wondering if it performs better than the Vaxee, Superlight, etc. due to it being much cheaper. I’ve also heard great things about the stock feet
@@Divinity_vA thank you for the super detailed reply! By better, I mean in regards to click latency and motion latency, where does it stack up against the competition. For example, the Vaxee is -0.2ms faster in motion latency than the control but has a click latency slower than the Superlight etc, whereas the Superlight has 0.5ms slower than control, so with the lower click latency and only slightly slower motion latency you could in theory say it performs better overall than the XE. I 100% understand that Haus has stated at this level you won’t really notice a difference, but I was just curious where the Pulsefire stacked up against them.
Pulsefire haste 2's scrollwheel failed me after not even 1 year of use :(
Awesome video dude 🔥 I’m due a monitor upgrade soon. Not sure if I should get this or 240hz 1440p. My boomer vision needs clarity 😅
Thanks bro! I can recommend the XG27AQM with ease! In Europe you can get the XL2566k for cheaper, and I think it's the #1 choice if your first priority is gaming. All about priorities I'd say!
@@hausgaming Awesome, appreciate the reply and recommendations Haus!
Are you using stock skates on your dav3?
Great to see the wired DA v3 finally!
I want to see a dav3 mini wired 8khz
@@paulmartinez34 if it's a Mini then the Viper fits me much better tbh. Good luck with that lol
👍
i dont think the wired will affect me since i play fps on absurdly high sens (1600 dpi, 1.4 sens), so i mgiht consider the DAv3, since the optics for my deathadderv2 x hyperspeed stopped wokring for some random reason
Nice content, btw i am currently on Lenovo Y27GQ-25, a 2K 240hz TN with G-sync module, whick is an incredible monitor, my next upgrade will be a 2K 360hz oled, that will be my endgame monitor
@@Doctor0Who not for atleast 2 years on a gaming monitor, even lg TVs get burn in at 2 years
is the DYAC beneficial in games like Rainbow Six Siege where you're mostly holding angles or peeking enemies and the shooting isn't fast like Overwaatch?
LG Oled vs the Benq?
what is motion latency?
What’s the pad on the desk at the end???
I got my Dav3 for $61… Best mouse purchase I’ve done… I’ve bought every popular mouse ever, GPX Superlight, Viper Ultimate, Original G Pro Wireless, Lamzu Atlantis, Shroud’s G303, G302, and a Cooler Master mouse (I forgot the model) and none of em is as satisfying as using the Dav3… It’s so good.. I never bought the Dav3 Pro version though… But seeing the reviews saying that this is a better mouse, I am incredibly happy
Whats ur hand size?
@@chrizpao I have no idea.. I don’t have ruler lying around to measure..
@@HafidzMurshidie all g. Got the wired version alrdy 😁
@@chrizpao How is it for you..? I’m loving it so far.. This is my first ever Ergo mouse in 20 years of gaming… And I think I can’t go back to Ambi mouse.. Lol..
@@HafidzMurshidie I really like the shape and it performs well on valorant. Im Immortal 3 peak and i can say that this mouse is worth every penny :) I dont care about the wires. :D
What kind of mount do u use for zowie monitors?
im on theXL2566k and the Starlight-12, good? :D
Nice video! What do you think about atlantis mini 4k? How will they perform in compare to the razers implementation?
No clue, I have not tested it yet! But little to no chance it's as good as RAZER 4K. Most likely it's near G-Wolves levels!
Also it's not the + 90hz that makes a difference. It's cause the zowie has faster response times, less overshoot and the backlight strobing feature which basically gives you around 960hz of motion clarity if you use the Dyac+ on premium ( at 360hz ) there will be a bit of strobe crosstalk, but I would absolutely use it. The centre of the screen will look basically " as good " as an old premium CRT in terms of motion clarity.
Refreshrate can affect those response times and overshoot, the panel type matters here as well. Even without DyAc+ the monitor has very good motion clarity.
@@hausgaming Correct. Also reading back my original comment it looks like I made a few typos. I meant " It's not just the 90hz what makes the difference " cause the 90hz jump itself isn't much at all and 99% of the people wouldn't notice any difference if we are only talking about that 90hz jump. Even the jump from 240hz to 360hz is very hard to notice for most people. Usually you should go from 120hz to 240hz, 144hz to 360hz, 240hz to 480hz, 480hz to 960hz etc in order to see an actual difference. Basically always double your current hz, otherwise there isn't that much of a point to upgrade, unless ofc you just " want the best " but yeah the panel type matters a lot that's true. Also while the zowie xl2566k looks very good even without the dyac+, there is still an insane difference with the dyac+ on premium at 360hz. With the dyac+ on premium at 360hz it currently has the best motion clarity out of all gaming monitors on the market as far as I know. Without it, it's very impressive, but in my opinion the OLED 240hz still looks slightly better. Obviously if the oled had good bfi feature it would look just as good if not better than the dyac+ on premium at 360hz.
Did the dav3 wired hinder your performance in game?
Have you try Oled 240hz ?
I just want to try the deathadder v3 just because of the shape they changed. I tried normal deathadder 4 years ago and I didn't like the flared front part. I usually keep my ring finger in that spot and it felt weird to me at that time.
DAV3 will feel much better for you most likely!
@@hausgaming what about the coating? The Wireless one has a bad coating and the wired a better one or did they change that?
Thank you Haus. Im using anEC2-CW and has been tempting to try out the DAV V3, do you think its worth to get one?
i just got one i love it!
I hope razer will make a dav3 mini wired 8khz
Great video! But my Xl2546k can set AMA only on high and premium, it cant be customize which one you recommend? High or premium.
I haven't tried the XL2546k, but I recommend checking CS:GO pro player settings to see if anyone uses Premium! Try whichever feels better
Price aside, can we compare the pros and cons between the DAV3 and EC2-CW? I have 18cm hands and I heard rumors that DAV3 is pretty big.
I have 18x10 and returned the DAV3 week after purchase due to side creaking (known issues with many models) and the mouse was a tad too big for me. Went back to Zowie EC3 and the Logitech G303.
BRO XL2566K dav3 artisan soft mousepad wooting 60he best combo
Was curious to know how well this screen performa on COD. You have mentioned in the past you used to play it, if that’s still the case, does it make it easier to track targets as well with all the jittery of the screen due to the weapon recoil?
It'll be insane for any fast paced FPS which you can run at around 360fps!
0.16 latency is absolutely crazy, wow (also id use the wired, i like value for money and cables dont bother me too much)
🤦🏻♂️
+1 wires these days are non existent. if you could play well with the old rubber cables then a braided cable on top tier mice is really all you need. consistency is king.
Wired is obviously better. Not only it's faster but it's also WAY more stable overall compares to wireless garbage. I would never use a wireless over wired. On top of that we get wired for so much cheaper and you don't gotta worry about the battery. I have no clue why do people even buy wireless for competitive gaming, no wonder they suck.
@@Divinity_vA It is not. Everything I said so far is a fact which can be checked with multiple test results. Also I am shocked how many people are so ignorant. It is common sense that wired will always be more stable compared to wireless like it or not. I wouldn't even pay 40$ for the best wireless, but I would be ready to pay 100$ for a premium wired. Yall just blinded by the fact that " pro csgo players " use wireless when in reality it's a terrible choice. Basically the same as comparing fiber optic to a wifi. We both know which one is more stable yet you somehow want to deny the facts, hilarious. Again, no wonder yall suck.
@@PahEz Lol, good luck getting the freedom of unrestricted flicks on wired compared to wireless. Besides, wireless tech is at its best atm. There's a reason why 95% of the pros have moved to wireless.
I dont know which mouse to buy... Zowie EC2-C / Zowie EC3-C / Razer Deathadder V3
The wired version with a paracord cable is the best combination imo. You get the lower price, weight and latency, the better coating and build quality and don't have to worry about battery life. The stock cable kinda sucks, its way too heavy which is especially noticeable with such a light mouse. I've been using a paracorded dav3 for a bit more than a month now and had no issues with it. It still reaches 8khz with the paracord cable in the razer pollingrate tool and in Diabotical 8khz works great without any performance impact.
If only razer will make a dav3 mini wired 8khz
May one ask what gpu and CPU you are using today. U said that u have built an AMD and kinda curios what CPU u went for. Gonna build an AMD 7800x3d and rtx 470ti soon. Mostly playing csgo and valorant. And gonna go for the asus 240hz oled instead of the benq which I've been using for several years before.
I've got the 5900x! Previously I had an older i7 7700k and had no issues with 8K!
just got the pulsar glass mousepad for my dAv3...nomnomnom
I just cannot go back to TN... never... but as I got older, I got more casual. and with OLED around the corner there is no good reason for me to buy 20 y/o tech. But for competitive players, this might be a good buy
You should try Asus 26,5" ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM, 240Hz QHD ;)
Will prolly try that and the PG27AQN at some point!
Try OLED and 8K, I would love to see that since I have the 266k which is great monitor but thinking of switching to OLED
Will do at some point!
I read somewhere that on the viper 8k you had the same click latency at 8k and 1000hz so it was still valuable to cop the 8k version if you’re latency obsessed.
Yeah, I report that same thing here on the DAV3 8K!
@@hausgaming well guess I have to buy one now, it might be time to replace the ec2
@@hausgaming oh, did you get to test 8k on cs2? Or are you a non-beta haver?

I do too and I hate the motion blur shit screen
Once Asus & LG make a 360 / 500hz Oled, it's gg Dyaq will be cool, but that TN will be the death of it
You are not kidding! I'm also using zowie g sr mousepad 👌

Can someone explain what exactly overshoot with the ama setting is? I play ama premium and its super responsive, and ive played with it off and i do notice a more precise image hit its slower
Tim over at monitors unboxed channel has a video where he explains whats overshoot aswell as response times, ghosting etc
I always had AMA on High, i don't even know what it does. What would high be like compared to 15 you mentioned in video?
I'm not sure, I think with XL2546k high is the best setting. With the custom setting I can find the most optimal value (least latency and least overshoot) for my needs!"
@@hausgaming Can you explain overshoot for me? I mainly play CSGO
Been using the viper 8k for a bit can’t use it over 2k in cs tho sadly 😭
Has this been fixed?

Thoughts on the Oryza so far?
Best bungee I've tried, the Pulsar Micro bungee can be as good if your monitor positioning allows it, but Oryza has no conditions like that.
Can you share the latency data of the other mice you have?
I have those listed on multiple videos!
Is there any delay differences between dyac on high vs premium?
The numbers are mentioned in the video!
Do you use black eq for csgo?
I have black eq at 7 for everything!

I've been using 1600 cpi for about 2 years at least!
What about alienware 500hz and the rog 540hz in the future?

WH dont need god tier :)) i have monitor and mouse trust me :) wh beat all :))
they've finally started selling the xg2431 in eu, better motion clarity and input lag vs the xl2566k while being an ips panel. also cheaper than even the benq 240hz worth a review for sure
I've been trying to get it, but the availability is trash still in Finland. It most likely will have more input lag than the XL2566k and I doubt the motion clarity is better, but I hear it gets very close. At around 350 euros the bang for buck is insane and it's definitely something one should consider. I just need to get one!
@@hausgaming from the testings done by rtings (probably not optimal settings for either monitors) the viewsonic comes out on top while using bfi, hopefully you’re able to get one eventually it is highly underrated. blurbusters also has it on the top of their list while not having the zowie 240/360 up there so i’d be interested to see your results
I'm all about OLED. It's just so fast.... and the whole brightness thing is ONLY noticable if you are playing a game with like a map that is almost pure white, which never happens.
1000HZ to 8000HZ i feal 0% differens, and im at 300HZ/FPS 😅
Just take the PG27AQN Asus 1440p 360 fastest panel ips/tn. or 240 oled Asus, fastest panel on market.
According to many reviews, the 240hz OLED does not match the XL2556K or the PG27AQN in terms of motion clarity and in-game performance. XL2566k is still ahead of the AQN, although very slightly.
@@hausgamingwith ulmb2 pg27aqn perform better than 2566k

@@paulmartinez34 Why wired lol. Mice should ditch wires all together.
Sorry mate not everyone share your preference. If they make a dav3 wired in 8k why not on the mini version
@@paulmartinez34 So you enjoy the constant feel of the wire when moving the mouse or what?

if you follow framechasers, you will know that AMDip problem and avoid that shxt
I would never sacrifice the freedom of wireless, especially not for 8KHz polling rate, which in real life brings me 0 advantages. Wireless 4KHz maximum but most of the time 1KHz are the future and now the companies need to work on battery life to make those mice last several weeks at a time. I just don't see any benefit for 8KHz polling rate in real life applications.
If the 4 & 8k mice were superior in super sweat games the professional players would be using them exclusively.
To each their own i guess. I like wired mice and wired mice have infinite battery life 🤣
no reason to buy a tn monitor in 2023 - and dyac is overrated.
you are entitled to your opinion! DyAC is by no means overrated in my opinion, and if you want the best gaming monitor there is for 1080p, this is the one you want to get :).
