After reacting to "Psycho" the next most requested Red Velvet song was one form the subunit Irene & Seulgi - Naughty. Let's just say I was not left disappointed! Let me know more about the group and the girls and it you want to see more Red Velvet like the video :)
I've only seen Blackpink and Red Velvet so far from the Kpop girl groups, so let me know who else I should check out!

it's the hardest for any group, tutting isn't very simple or easy as you might think.
The fact they didn't have any background on tutting makes it even more admirable. They started learning from the basics and then the choreography for several months!! Plus they were preparing for the Monster performances and album at the same time too! Props to the choreographer, Stella, and the dancers too 👏🏼

Naughty doesn't have enough views for how iconic and powerful it is. I'd love to see a reaction of Seulgi's solo song 'Uncover' she does a more 'contemporary' solo dance for it and its really great too.

The girls started learning tutting months before the choreography was ready, so when they learned the choreo, every move is precise and symmetrical. They pulled it off like queens 👑 The choreographer said it took 2 months to create the choreo, and 4 months for the girls to learn it (including the training in tutting)

Lol... I knew you'd like this one. The ironic part is that this song wasn't even supposed to be promoted originally. But when Lee Soo Man ( CEO of SM ) saw the finished choreography, he panicked and sent them straight back to the music shows.

Because of Wendy's tragic accident, when they have to prepare the subunit, Irene and Seulgi pushed themselves so much, as they love their team Red Velvet, they don't want to be look like plain spin-off or put shame on their group. I love these hardworking ladies. sorry for long writing, it's just beyond my short English.

Fun fact you can find behind the scenes of filming the hands from behind the camera bit! Basically the choreographer of the dance held the camera in her mouth and did the hands while filming. It’s a very cool technique!
Red velvet is honestly so damn underrated given their talent, discography, looks and ability. It's such a shame that they are not given the amount of love they deserve.
They're not underrated at all, they're just in an unpopular genre. They could have went there twice route and did cute for 7 years straight or got views on their videos by being paid advertisements like black pink did

The person behind the camera with their hands in front wasnt Irene, it was their dance instructor who had the camera handle supported by her head as she helped seulgi do the hand tucking dance..She taught Irene and Seulgi this choreo and they learned it within 6 month...they really are amazing!

@@hugosalcedo691 Everybody's heard Psycho and Bad Boy. I mean actually listen to the group. Korean Netizens recently voted Red Velvet the group with the overall best discography in Kpop. Pick any of their albums. Most of the time the title track *isn't* the best song on the album.

YESSSS I was waiting for you to see this, Seulgi is the main dancer in RV and she is a top dancer in kpop in general, very well respected by her peers but Irene really showed up for this sub unit, and its crazy to think cause they have been dancing together since before RV debut so that why their chemistry is so good. Please do react to Monster (which is their sub unit main single) and to the episode 2 and episode 3 of their dancing videos, they are soooo goood!!!

i’m sure you’re aware of the name but they’re doing finger tutting, it’s an extremely difficult and angle based genre of dance, i myself have been dancing since a young age and i even struggle sometimes.

I think you'd be very interested in a group called Dreamcatcher!! They're a girl group and they have powerful dance and their songs are really good (same producers as Ateez!) They're known for their vocals, rock elements and very synchronised and high difficulty dances :D it was very interesting hearing your perspective on Naughty! thanks for the reaction

Seulgi and Irene are basically long-lost sisters. They trained under SM for so long, that they started to have the same behavior and literally SOUL.

The type of hand dancing they're doing is called tutting. It's an American street style dance and they also incorporate a lot of vogueing in this choreography. They did amazing! It's insane really. I've always been stunned by the finger movements the precise and incredibly detailed movements tutting includes. Detailed hand movements are also really popular in traditional South Asian dances.

If you would like another choreography with hand work that's pretty interesting I'd recommend Apink Dumhdurum It's nowhere as hard but there's some interesting bits here and there. Otherwise I'd love to see you react to Weki Meki or Iz*one. I'd say for Weki Meki Cool or Oopsy would be interesting and for Iz*one I'd say any of their song except for Panorama as some of their movements in that Choreography are callbacks to older ones. I'd also love to see you react to older groups like Sistar, Miss A and SNSD who had seemingly easier choreographies just so you can see the difference between then and now.

I don't know if you are still updating this channel, but even if not, you might want to check out the now-disbanded group Gfriend. They are known for their precision and synchronization. Their last title track before disbanding is titled "Mago." Watch the MV, then the dance practice, then the blindfolded dance practice. I cannot remember the particular song (Me Gustas Tu? Rough? Navillera?), but check out their 2x dance on the show Weekly Idol as well. Worth watching, even if you do not plan on making a reaction video.
