Red Velvet is my favorite girl group! There’s 5 members Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy & Yeri. I like their dancing but I will say they are known for being vocalists. The way they accent their songs with their choreography is always fun to watch. I hope you get into more from them. I really like their Feel My Rhythm choreo & their Look dance practice.
And the fact they didn’t have experience in this style before this choreo….like damn they put in that work Also the choreographer put a GoPro in her mouth to get that cool POV camera shot. The behind the scenes vid is worth the watch
Red Velvet debuted as 4 in 2014, then added the 5th member in 2015. So they are 5: Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, Yeri. They are very popular in Kpop! In this video you see Irene & Seulgi, as a sub-unit that debuted in 2020 with their album "Monster". This song "Naughty" is the 2nd title track from that album!! They are amazing dancers, so yes, you should check them out!!!

You should look at their cover called Be Natural which is old. Back when they were 4 members but it's pretty impressive. A chair dance. Their vocals are also incredible always^^
Someone mentioned to watch 28 Reasons which is seulgis recent solo debut. And I totally agree! She's the main dancer of the group^^
Yeah, I believe it's 1 month of basic tutting practice, then 3 months for the choreo itself; 4 months total.
oh my God Don, I have only been requesting this for about a year!!! I told you this would kill you because it is THE definitive tutting and wacking video in kpop. It took them 4 months to learn! They don’t battle. This was a new style for them. Also, KZhead does let you slow or speed videos…it’s in settings
Red Velvet is collectively the best singing group in my opinion. But Seulgi is considered among the best dancers in the industry and respected by many many others in music. They are the best kpop group in my opinion. I have a different group as my favorite, but that doesn't mean Red Velvet can't be the best. Just my opinion and many will disagree with me. Red Velvet is #2 all time favorite kpop groups for me. Arguably best discography in kpop. I absolutely love them all and the music can be heavenly.... And all the members are extremely beautiful and talented.

It's funny you mentioned people hating on them or saying the choreo was "okay," because I recently watched another reaction where one of the guys felt like Irene and Seulgi weren't "really dancing" 😒Like you said, tutting isn't easy so his comment rubbed me the wrong way For context: The reactors do "choreo battles" where they react to two different dance practices by kpop artists and choose which one they liked the most.
