  • I've had this keyboard for over a week now. It's really nice if your use to membrane keyboards like myself and aren't sure what to get, go for the orange switches it feels the closest to a membrane imo. I was worried I would press keys by accident and that is not the case. They feel like lighter brown switches.

    • @@omeryt7142 Definitely. I got the orange switches and they just feel very nice. It feels really sturdy too. The RGB at max is really bright too. Overall it's a really full keyboard that gives you everything a good keyboard should. Some people say that the cable gets scratched by the base on the back but if you use the little height adjustment like I prefer then it doesn't.

    • actually this has a bigger L Shift which is very useful, one thing about the huntsman elite is that it has the tiniest l shift button i’ve ever seen lol it’s smaller than the control beneath it

    • @@thedestinylegend7 Huntsam Elite uses newer technology in their switches. In my opnion the huntsman elite is better and I do not see why you would want to buy this kb (maybe for the blackwidow title). I loved that razer is the first big company that really uses the opto machanical technology and if they relesse a huntsam elite with the linear feeling (as I already have another taktik kb) I am down to spend another 200.

  • So i have been holding off on the Huntsman Elite just waiting to see what they do with the black widow, and now from what i can tell the only real difference between these two is the the Black Widow has the USB and Headphone Jack, With regular switch style keys. Where as the Huntsman Elite has the new Optical Switches, and has RGB underglow on the sides and the hand wrest. So i wonder which one is actually the better keyboard for the price?

  • I have the Black Widow elite and to be honest, the huntsman looks the same yet the only differenciation is the media controls and USB as well as the 3.5mm audio jack.

  • I really try to optimize my setup for me and I'm willing to pay a lot of money to experiment and find the best thing. Recently I've bought and tried a steelseries, a corsair k65, and a fnatic strafe, but so far the razer keyboard at best buy with orange keyswitches just felt the best. My ideal keyboard would be a razer tkl with swappable keyswitches, and an open board design. Why doesn't this exist yet?

  • Man this keyboard looks amazing but I don't like the USB being on the left hand side, and there are no macros? I honestly just use Synapse to make my f5-f7 keys media keys with one press. I don't need the dial, but other than that it is an amazing looking keyboard. Still love my BW chroma v2.
