For work, it’s a time safer as I can assign a function key or shortcuts to any of the macro keys without lifting my left hand off the keyboard. And then I make different profiles for different programs I used at work making those 5 keys impossible to replace. This keyboard is definitely an upgrade. I’m going to wait about a year and see if any refurbished models show up on Amazon for halve the price 😁 that’s usually how I get most of my razer products

  • I bought Huntsman recently and i must say that i prefer Hunstman. Hunsman offers how much you want keys to be soft or hard, but doesn't offer extra volume and side buttons. Plus doesn't have more rgb colors on buttons (just top). I'd say it's great choice to have Huntsman and plus in the box is not looking like you bought keyboard in cheap market store. Both is good, but if you prefer for more rgb. Go with BW V4 Pro. For buttons soft-hard customization, go with Hunsman.

    @SeriousDragonify@SeriousDragonify4 ай бұрын
    • I fully agree with you. I was deciding between the two but went with the BWV4Pro for the same exact reasons. I remember wanting the first HMV2 Analogue several years ago for the variable actuation feature but didn't go for it since I already had the HM Elite. The analogue features of the HMV3Pro is definitely very impressive but at the end of the day I know that I will get over the novelty and unlikely to put it to good use (I'm basically the type who is too lazy to manually assign buttons on an MMO mouse or make full use of all the buttons on a HOTAS setup). In the end what made me choose the BWV4Pro is the super vibrant underglow RGB (the same thing I enjoyed on my HM Elite), the dedicated media/volume knobs and the 8 macro buttons. I'm unashamedly a style over substance guy I guess lol. I derived a lot of pleasure from my varied collection of keyboards and mice but not necessarily just because they had certain unique features (which I know I'm not that deep into such things to actually make use of them).

  • I'm going to the Razer Store London tomorrow or Saturday and thinking about getting one of these but as I have a Huntsman V2 Analogue I'm wondering if it's worth paying the money for it? I LOVE that the switch housings are clear on it to let more light through, as the 1 thing I don't like about this KB is there is no light at the front of the keys. But I do love the analogue switches. I'm hoping that they maybe make a Huntsman V3 Analogue that has clear switch housings and even a Pro version that is wireless Great video though, been watching your videos when making my decisions on buying new Razer gear

    @officialnucky@officialnucky Жыл бұрын
    • Hey , i understand what you're saying. I'm currently using the Huntsman V2 and the RGB is so dim... furthermore when my brightness is between 50 and 100% my KB makes a buzzing noise (it comes from the LED's chip) and it's very annoying. Yesterday I ordered a Blackwidow V2, a keyboard that I had several years ago that I find better than the Huntsman range (the RGB is much better and qualitative, and even if I will lose the optical switches, the mechanical are excellent too) I will receive my Blackwidow on Saturday ^^

    • The unfortunate thing with usb passthrough and a ton of rgb is that the power draw wouldn't work well with the size constraints a wireless keyboard has , you have to account for the wireless module , and a battery large enough to justify it being wireless ( which with all that rgb is a huge battery they'd have to somehow fit into a keyboard without it being a brick)( it's why they didn't make a wireless huntsman , the optical switches needed too much power for a wireless version to be justified) not to mention wireless usb passthrough is a shoddy technology at best right now and it's too expensive to try and fit into a keyboard.

  • I'm surprised that Razer is still producing these noisy, clacky keyboards using those silly, rattly and cheap feeling costars stablizers. Ew. Even ASUS ROG has stepped up their game with the new ASUS ROG Azoth gaming keyboard. Has a more compact 75% layout which makes it easier to move around on the desk. The build quality is fantastic with layers of damping. It's even gasket mounted, and the keystrokes feel absolutely like a premium custom keyboard. Even has an OLED screen on it which can be customized to display relevant data or info. It's also tri-mode. And what does Min-Liang give us? More fluff over the previous gen BW.
