Finally a South African KZhead tech gent I can always check out.
That mic is so good. I video conference almost 8 hrs a day due to work. I have my Yeti Nano on my desk but that may be overkill. This set seems like it fits so many of my needs for gaming, music and work. I may have found the one I needed. I just ordered mine today.
It’s good, I’m still probably just gonna attach a mod mic 5.0 though. (If you don’t know what it is, it’s a mic that’s the same size as the average headset mic, but you can attach it to any headset. And it sounds insanely good. Probably not as good as a yeti or any other high end mountable mic, but for the price it’s so good)

Between my Redragon Siren of four years finally cutting out in one ear to replacing it with the Redragon Zeus in white to sending it back as faulty and spending the next two weeks researching the next best thing... this is it. Let this be the last video I watch (for the third time today) trying to make a decision! Today is the day of the Cooler Master MH650.
Nice, looks like the content also got a big production upgrade after the new studio! I love it. On the headphones, I wish it wasn't all hard plastic on the outside.

@@bellab3980 they are very comfortable after 3 months. The mesh earcups and headband are breathable and soft, which makes it perfect for long Zoom sessions. I highly recommend these headphones

@@ImSoDapp3r it is working, sounds great, and the microphone is still one of the best I've seen in a headset. My one gripe, however, is that the plastic had a tendency to make creaking noises when you move, which is annoying. Other than that, a great headset, especially if you can find it on sale.

Just another fun tip-When you mute your mic from the on-board controls, the lighting on the cans blink red. Hope this helps :)

Man this headset and the MH670. I want the wireless version but I LOVE the RGB design on these. It's subtle and doesn't light up some dumb company logo. Too bad the MH670 doesn't have the same RGB design. I'd easily pay $140 for them

The best headset i have ever had, sadly its worth mentioning that since its made of plastic.. it just broke randomly while wearing it after 3 years of usage... Its worth to mention that, i never dropped the headset or made a stupid pressure on it, i think that what happens to plastic after years, especially in hot countries
Is there any mic bleed over discord? i got a corsair yesterday and any talking on videos and in game bleeds through and ppl in channel can hear it. Looking for a headset that has no bleed to replace arctis 7 that fucked out

True, but most of those gaming headsets that are double the price are wireless headsets. And wireless headset mics usually suck compared to wired ones. It's just one of the cons of wireless headsets.
Prime example, the MH670, the wireless version of the 650, has a much worse mic. The cable is a small price to pay for good mic quality.
@@dean3789 I bought HyperX Cloud Flight simply because I really appreciate wireless convenience and mic quality isn't paramount to me, I do not use that often, usually I just play with no voice chat. But it is nice having it. I understand your point and everyone seeking good mic quality should go wired, and even preferably with a totally separate mic. But personally, convenience was more important. If I went wired, I'd probably go the HiFi route instead of any gaming brand.

I have had this headset for about 2.5 years. The comfort is amazing I have no complaints about it although you can hear the plastic creek and move when adjusting to your head and when it settles you can hear some of the final creeking. the software is good but I don’t use it that often. the 7.1 surround system is good but I do struggle to depict if something is below me or on top of me, (chests in fortnite. The sound quality isn’t that great tho. It has zero to no bass and more of an audio bass. It’s really hard to listen to music with these things because of the lack off bass, of course you can adjust it but then the bass gets all muddy and unusable. I would rather go for a corsair headset than this.
Question. Would I be able to still use the MH650 along with its microphone If I were to use a USB to audio jack converter cord?

yeah. I really don't like that these have USB although one reviewer said that the USB makes the audio slightly better vs. using the 3.5mm.
Get the mh630. Its this but with 3.5mm and no rgb, just a purple ring instead. Much cheaper though

My MH-752's broke and then they took 2.5 months to even respond to my RMA after I shipped them back and now refuse to even send back MH-752's and want to send me a lesser model instead. Fuck CM

Yeah same. Not sure when that will happen again though. Will test it but dont think the internet on farm is fast enough. But will try maybe 480p or 720p will work.

The speakers and mic are good but it won't last much because it has plastic all over the tensest part of the structure that holds the screws in the steel together. I had to make 2 "fixes" using this kind of approaches you can find on indian gamer's reddit.

Guys, I'd recommend you to go for the mh630 instead of the mh650. The 630 is the same in every aspect it just doesn't have neither Rgb lighting or 7.1 surround, but these are almost useless extra features and you save some sweet 35 dollars
you may not know this but mh630 was tune different from mh650. for me 630 was tune for more v curve than mh650 that focus on balance sound stage. and another thing you better think before buy mh630 is not sound good if you plug it in a cheap sound onboard. you really need a proper amp or sound card for it.
The 650 is better in sound volume.
It's all about the dac/soundcard, you know you'll need dac if your audio source is ugly and not everyone have a good dac. Buy mh650 and disable the eq, u get better sound, or get the mh670 same sound but wireless

My mh650 stopped working after 30 mins of using for some reason. There was no sound and the mic also stopped working. Replugged it works for 30 mins and then dies again it’s so annoying
You forgot to test the RGB control with cooler master software, can ligts be controlled by software?

I had both. Go with the MH650. They are much clearer. I returned my cloud 2s.

Yeah, it literally breaks, i have used the headset for almost 3 years and then randomly while i am wearing it.. the piece that maintain pressure to my ear got snapped and can't wear it on my head anymore... Thats because its made of plastic and plastic gets weaker by time especially in hot countries so thats what happened i believe, i suggest getting a headphone that has those two iron rods as it holds the headset to your ears perfectly Worth to mention.. the sound works perfectly and nothing wrong at all even after 3 years, its just broke..

I got mine a couple months ago and both the sides are snapped and pretty much hanging by the wire ( SO TREAT WITH MASS RESEPCT )
This happened with me after 3 to 2 and half years of usage, i treated it so well, that is the disadvantages of plastic headsets i think, It will be weakened by time until *SNAP* RIP my best headset of all time

It looks good, but technical specs wise, its really nothing different to the MH751,752 series of headsets. That is pretty dissapointing as I would love to have the same headset but with RGB lights and foam earcups or at least the interchangablility like Hyper X does, but the mic is a letdown for me. It does sound good but the MH751 does not seem to pick up the keystrokes on a cherry red keyboard from corsair (the k70 rgb mk2), but if this can pick up browns, that is bad.

The cushioning on my MH650 does not look like that. None of that "honeycomb" pattern is there.

This headset is simple terrible, almost unusable. The plastics emit an annoying creak all the time. It is unbearable. The mic is very good though.
They look terribly made 0.o I'll never understand why we need RGB headsets ? Better to get the Corsair HS70s for the price
