Notes:
- I forgot to talk about the MH670 Battery life. Cooler Master claims ~25 hours, in reality at a 'nice' volume I came closer to 20 hours when using the headset to game and edit. That's not extreme (Like the Cloud Flight), but comfortably above average (~15 hours).

Once again, really nice review :D I really dig the wireless MH670, it's a shame the microphone doesn't sound as clear as the wired versions.
same for all wireless hs. Not enough bandwidth if you also want decent sounding audio.
Check the Corsair Virtuoso non-SE version, best wireless mic i have heard so far, by far!
but you could use it wired and have a good mic sound. This headset allows it.

@Techtesters Hi, I am about to buy new headset and after looking at all the reviews around the internet I decided to go with a cabled pair. All the wirelles ones under 150€ have too many drawbacks. I just got one more question, what are the differences between MH630 and MH650 construction? Is it just the RGB ring? Are all the materials the used same? Thanks.

@@iitsBarbiiee I think the 50 has more bass on the mic then the 30. As for the 70 I'd avoid unless you need to have wireless. Wireless mics sound awful.
The mh630 would pair nice with the ck350 and the mm711. Then add a nr400 case and the mp750 mousepad and youve got a cooler master pc set.

@@elijahbill9148 I have the same problem and if you still have a problem, the cause might be the bad sound card you have. Especially in laptops that happens. It happened to me :( I have MH630 and the mic sounds perfect on my brothers pc which is a desktop, and sounds terrible on my pc which is a laptop. You can fix this problem by buying a sound card. I didn't buy any so everything I know about soundcards is that SoundBlaster X3 exist lol. Or you can buy MH650 which has its own sound card. But you have to try other microphones too to figure out if that is the problem or not. Also you can go to Sound settings and play with audio enhancements and other stuff. You can google it to learn more about. I hope this helps someone out there. I might be wrong but that's what I know about this.

great review! just wanted to add that my mh650's sound amazing with dolby atmos! try them with atmos! just have to turn off virtual 7.1 in the headset software and dolby atmos shines with these! confirmed working with usb.

Does the 670's mic quality improve when it is used in wired mode? or does it keep its more compressed version?
I would assume that it improves to the same quality as the 630 and 650. She didn't say that it uses a different mic - and on top of that, the only reason she gave for the poorer quality of the mic was bandwidth.

Im having problems getting my mic working well. I got the MH630 and plugged it in to my tower with the spliter but when I was doing a mic test in discord it sounded horrible and glitchy. I'm not sure if thats just because of discord but I also tried a mic test in the windows settings and was getting little to no level. Do you know what Im doing wrong?

The Cooler Master MH650 (USB) mic is so good & doesn't need sound card because it's powered by USB but the down side its headphones sound level disappointing low level on consoles but on pc is very good! it's like nothing is perfect!! So please help me what is the perfect headset for All-In-One (Headphone & Mic quality) something exactly like the Cooler Master MH650 (USB) but with a good headphones sound level on both pc & consoles?!
As an upgrade from this? I'd probably say the Logitech G Pro X would be my first go to.

Keep in mind really convincing surround is hard to find, especially for this money. In most games you're better off leaving the headset to stereo and letting the game handle it.

Very late comment but how does the MH670 compare to the Corsair Void RGB elite wireless when it comes to comfort and sound quality?
Sound quality is of roughly similar quality. Slight edge for the mh670 maybe. Comfort, the Void is larger and lighter around the ears. Mh670 is more medium sized and snug. Depends on what you want really.
I disagree with a lot of the shade you threw at the MH650's in this review.. They're actually a very quality headset and can be gotten for cheap right now (Going for ~$60 USD on amazon right now, usually go for $90 USD). They have a top-notch studio-quality sounding Mic that any streamer could use, overall good sound (superior to the 630's), nice looking RGB that doesn't look trashy, they're comfortable, breathable.. Lots to like about them.

That looks like the exact same OEM model as the Riotoro Aviator Classic that I have here. Since I don't know the Reddragon (Drivers / tuning could be different, finish could be worse, etc) I can't really judge, but if they're the same as the Riotoro they should be a decent alternative if you need that USB connector.

I'm having issues with my MH630 while gaming. The headset is having the issue of picking up the audio that I'm listening to. My friends have complained that they can hear themselves talking on my mic. I've actually caused a literal feedback loop before when I livestreamed. The only solution that I've found is just turning down the audio really really low so that the mic doesn't pick it up, however it makes it hard to hear the game and my teammates when my audio is so low. Is this normal for my headphones to do this? I understand the mic needs pick up sound surrounding it, but I'm shocked at it picking up the audio coming from its own speakers so clearly. I love these headphones, but sadly I don't have a lot of money so if this is something that the headphones do naturally, I will more than likely have to return them. :( Has anyone else had this problem?
A very late respone: I had the same issue with new MH630. This effect is called crosstalk and is due to the electric signal picked up by the mic line. Most likely caused by bad wire shielding or the shared ground line between speakers and mic. Either an extreme design flaw or the headset is broken. ( The Crosstalk could also be caused by your soundcard/wiring. To be sure this is not the origin check on another soundcard)

What are the differences between the MH751/752 and the MH630/650/670?
They're very different headsets. I still really like the MH751 for comfort.
Which one do you think is better the mh630 or mh751?
If they cost the same? I'd pick the mh751 still for comfort alone if you don't mind a weaker bass.
I'm listening to this with the MH30's and I don't know why but the background music is muffled and all of the sound, sounds like there is water crackling in it.
You need dac to sound good, plug directly to motherboard sound horrible

Kudos for comparing to other headsets, otherwise it's so hard to get an feel for these things from a review. Lightweight plastic is underrated, so long as it doesn't make noise or fracture. I'd really like to see a wireless charger inside headphone stands, or a stand-alone wireless charger that you can attach to your own stand.
I agree. Plastic has a bad/cheap rep, but it all depends on the actual quality of it. As for the charing stand, I know Asus has the throne. I think cm was launching one too?

I would like to know this as well. There's another review on KZhead in which they recommend the 630 over the 751, so I'm wondering how does the 650 compare to the 752, since she says there are better options for around 80€. I would have gone for the 751 or 752 (probably the latter because I sorta need the USB connection since my front audio is broken), but the prices seem to have risen in the past months in Italy, so the 630 and 650 would be a bit cheaper.
Mh650 is better. Mh752 mic is not good even 7.1 surround. Mh650 with dolby atmos software not the sw that comes with it.

Stick with the older CM headset. They are rebranded Tackstar Pros. An audiophile headphone.
I'm 99.99% sure these are from the same factory. But I agree, the mh751 and 752 are still great options. Better for music. Not so much bass though.

I know these are considered “budget” headsets, but I honestly am not wanting them for that reason. I want them for the mic quality and the comfortable ear cushions. I have plenty of money to spend on a headset, but the sad/weird thing is; the most expensive headsets sound horrible when you speak into them, and the ear cushions are leather, as if that’s fancy.. when in reality, they just make your ears sweat. :/ it’s weird, I’ve always associated cost with quality, but after watching countless headphone videos, these seem like the best headset out there!
They're pretty good overall yeah, as for the footsteps question, that's largely down to the individual game (some games do it really badly) but generally not a problem (I used it for Cod, overwatch, etc).

They didn't change the software. It still is trash. But you can just not install it and use software like Boom3d or Dolby Atmos instead, or Equalizer APO if you want free.
