There's nothing quite like irreplicable rarity items/creatures in Minecraft, they truly have that feeling of a collector's edition item.

I'm so saddened they fixed the end portal bug. I've been building a massive end base for years which had its primary design revolve around this glitch :/ I guess that's what I signed up for

10:06 This is actually because the orb is so big that the orb size overflows into the negatives, and negative orbs tick the durability downwards instead of upwards (phoenix did a video on this years back).
Great video! It's sad to lose some discontinued items like overstacked items or *visually* losing the negative durability in the items. I just got -1.7B pickaxe and now mojang wants to remove it

It seems that putting a stack of curse books into a shulker box before updating will visually turn it into one book afterwards, but the description of the shulker box while in your inventory will show as "Enchanted Book x64", or however many you used to have in there. Also, when I pick up the altered single book in 1.20.5, it turns back into the stack, but you can't do anything with it at that point since it's on your cursor.
This will be nice since I like collecting items

Put your end portal as low as possible, so it'll be easier to kill the dragon with a mace

@RaysWorks do the items with an invalid item count also get updated while stored in other blocks with inventory, such as furnaces or hoppers? What about minecarts with chests/hoppers/furnaces? Anyways great video.
do shulkers in your inventory also get reverted when upgrading? because this may be a good way to transfer a lot of unique items at once.
I was mad when they removed the ability to put infinite patterns on a banner.

I might have missed it but I didn’t see you address what happens to overstacked stackable items in containers. Stacked unstackables lose all but one, but if I have a container with an overstacked stackable item, less than 127 stack size, what happens? (This is relevant for some item sorter designs, as well as collecting unobtainables) Edit: Yeah I did miss it, you mentioned it at 5:04. You didn’t say what that did for comparator signal strength, though; I might need to test that myself.

So what happens with sorting systems that use unstackable items like books of curses? They will all break? And once you update to 1.20.5, you can put that unstackable items in a chest and they will stay the same? Or the game will check it everytime you open it? Thanks!

I feel like it was unnecessary to reset stacked unstackable items. Putting limitations like this into the game is unnecessary. For most players it is not affecting them and for those, who put in the work to have these be stacked, it is just annoying.
Stop exploiting the game.

@@looking_33 ...its a sandbox game... play it how you want? who hurt you.... sheesh. Mojang itself supports "exploiting the game' via stating they won't remove TNT or gravity block duping until they introduce new gameplay mechanics to replace them. Same as they announced *well* in advance of patching it out that portal slicing was going to be patched out in the future as that was viewed as gamebreaking / too OP - which it was - from EOL farms to pig launchers that could take you to the world border in one shot yeah... i get it. OP is right - it's a minor bug that deals with inventory issues that have long been unaddressed, that only a small percentage of player know about/ use. weird thing to patch.
