i remember that if you somehow get a dragon in the overworld in versions before 1.9 they create a portal so what happens if you do this and bring the dragon to a 1.8 world you could make a portal anywhere you want. edit: another thought is imagine this in 2b2t

@@pumkin610 correct it creates the end portal just like in the end
Going back to previous versions is super dangerous. It would probably be easier to just obtain end portal frame items.
@carminehhh Backtracking has a VERY high chance of corrupting your world. Especially if you go from 1.13+ to 1.12.2-. You can obtain end portal frame items in 1.12.2 using any falling block.
the 2b2t dragon might still be stuck in the spawning phase with no portal back to the overworld
Imagine trapping the dragon on the obsidian platform as you did and turning on a sand duper from all sides, just spitting sand all over the place.

Ohh god, does this mean that some of the builds had blocked the dragons pathing? This discovery is the kind I love the most, the ones that make more questions than answers. Who could have predicted that a single phase was missing a small tag.
is there a way to trap the ender dragon in a cage for mob museum in the end dimension? from what i see in the video, the dragon unfreeze after you leave the chunk then come back
HEY! Can you do an updated version of all block heights like you did awhile ago? There's many more blocks now.
The ravages path probably curved while they were inside of the dragon's hit-box, so they continuously experienced a repulsive force, and the force changed the direction of their velocity

@@kyrozzz-ms9588 as shown at the end of the video though, it seems if you constantly bounce the dragon with slime blocks it is unable to move anywhere. Would need to properly test this though

Can you move the ender dragon when in the overworld to areas besides 0,0? If so, that could be insane for stuff like slime farms or really any big underground project - especially if it involves deepslate. This is a great video, keep it up!
Get a no-ai dragon, and piston push it the same he did in the End. Very simple tunnel bore indeed!

honestly... i tend to get help by getting launched up, so i don't have to waste on fireworks, eventually when i turn overworld into the end because why not or heck, if i play it properly, i can make it so i get help with withers and raids

What if you push a dead dragon through the portal? would it be dead in the overworld

I can't seem to replicate this on spigot. Do you know if this is a vanilla exclusive exploit or does it maybe work differently on Spigot/Paper? Edit: It is particularly the node blocking part that doesn't work. When all nodes are blocked, the dragon continues to move

if unfroze dragons cant go through portals i wouldve assumed it wouldnt have crossed that gateway but hey not gonna complain about that
How do you make your dragon farm in 1.19?
I really want to do this in my survival world before this gets patched... but i have a nice town at world spawn that would get destroyed :(
Well you could take a small world download of the chunks that contain the town, maybe two world downloads in case it gets lost, and then rebuild it after it's destroyed, rebuild with with litematica or something
If u place a piece of endstone at world spawn above your city before u dupe the dragon, the dragon will stay above the piece of endstone and not destroy your city :)

Question. How do you get the Dragon to fly towards you into a Gateway? I have one with the bedrock removed but it just flies around the center area

@@RaysWorks why should anything be useful? a fern farm isnt useful either but you still made it
I assume all you'd have to do is build as many platforms as you wanted with the dragon on top of them, then wall them off, and add a floor underneath them. Doesn't really seem very interesting for something you could do with endermites anyway. I think it would be more interesting to make a golem farm.

Does this work in 1.19.4? We can’t get it to work on our server. The nodes are all blocked but the dragon never fully freezes, just glitches around a little bit
Hi Ray, I just tried this in 1.20.1 but I cant get the initial dragon to freeze again once it flies back to the main island I tried teleporting away and coming back but nothing works Do you have a solution for this ?

@@GOAT_GOATERSON Hi, I was able to "fix" this by removing one of the outer nodes above the island, don't remember which one though Its been a while since i tried it

in 1.20.1, it dosn"t work for me, after putting one in the gateway, killing one that spawn, getting it back, i unload the end and still it dosn't froze, it gets up to block placed at y200, it gets back down and never frozes
same happens to me. my dragon gets stuck in a constant perch cycle

Its unfortunate this is a super easy glitch to fix, they will just make it so the dragon cant teleport through gates.

They can't trap it - the dragon just can't break them. Anything the dragon can't break it'll just phase straight through (at least it will up until all this freezing the dragon shenanigans happens).

it has to be low health first
