  • This was originally going to come out when the series ended but I decided to hold off on it due to big drama. I think this was long enough to hold out before putting it up. I’m in the middle of The Big Project right now so uploads will be super slow for a while. I may do some smaller series in the meantime since it’s easily the largest thing I’ve ever worked on and I don’t want you guys to not get anything for a while. You’re also gonna get your DMC4 comp in the meantime whenever they finish that. Anyway, thanks for coming to my TED talk

    • @@Bone8380 the only thing actually wrong with it is that it's falling waaaaaay too slowly and in far too shallow of an arc for how fast it's spinning. if he hit it that hard, it would be sailing away really fast, but considering dante can surf on rockets and run vertically up and down walls, i'm not too concerned about physics here.

  • I love how Pat took a second to read the 'Easy mode is now selectable' prompt and begin screaming, then it took Woolie an additional few seconds to start screaming in tandem. What I love more is wondering what Woolie was thinking in that timeframe. Was he asking himself why Pat is screaming? What mental breakdowns did he have in that period? Did his mind go as blank as Donte's when Phineas asked him about Mundus' replacement? We'll never know.

  • 3:20 - and one of the best 1:23:15 - its because he cant controll spardas power and his body breaks into a blorb cuz of it. he failed to absorb so his form shattered and didnt wield it at all. thats one of the biggest points of the story. to wield sparda u have to be strong in body and mind. arkhams mind is the most messed up and far away from spardas ideals so he got rejected for bein a jerk.

Its never really been stated in the various DMC canons as to why, but that's the hypothesis that makes the most sense in my opinion. All of the characters have reloading actions except Dante and Trish. Nero now has a reloading action as of DMC 5. I think someone stated a really good explanation too. It just looks cooler that way, and the game designers didn't feel like putting ammo hunting in the game.
