I'm not gonna lie, Dante casually chatting at Ghost Rider and getting a typical Ghost Rider uber-drama monologue in return is amazing, hilarious, and I totally wanna see Dante and GR just hanging out. Idk something like Dante asking Ghost Rider if he wants a slice of pizza and GR just goes on some long, metaphorical tangent about the relation between the sizzling red sauce and bubbling cheese of the pizza being comparable to the plains of the underworld, and how there are still many sinners to bring penance to, that pizza is just a distraction. And Dante is just nodding like "yeah man I know what you mean."

They had the budget of about 1 SFV DLC Season. They had to recycle a lot of MVC3 content, including models. Throwing models meant for a cel-shaded game into a game with an art style as consistent as Mario Odyssey’s level theming doesn’t work.

You know what's super dumb about Dante being blasé about Jedah in the story mode of this game? Dante has pre-battle dialogue with Jedah in other modes where he's like, "When this is over, you're gonna tell me everything about my dad!" And me, I'm just like, "...Why'd you say that? Why'd you say it like that? Am I supposed to interpret---WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN!?" Edit: Okay, I just remembered a special victory quote that Dante has for Jedah: "Consider that payback, with interest. Now start talking... You're gonna tell me every little thing you know." Like, ADFLJDFDJSF WHY DID THIS NOT GO ANYWHERE!!!???

Did DMC3 Dante really have enough daddy issues to refer to his father as his "dad" out loud when he was talking to a rival that was about to kill him? I feel like either this is accurate, or its bad writing. I would imagine Dante would say "Sparda" instead, but I haven't really played any DMC game other than 5 so what do I know.

The Morrigan is an Irish goddess that even pre-dates the Celtic settling of Ireland, being from the mythology of the then natives. The Irish Celts also viewed her as a goddess, and brought the tradition with them when they (a group of Irish Celts called the Scoti) travelled to and stayed in Scotland (the country is named for them). The accent that Morrigan's VA is going for is very obviously Irish; not Scottish.

I'll bite the bitter apple and say I'm blessed my Darkstalkers main Jon Talbain wasn't in this game, they'd have probably made him this games version of Reptile from Mortal Kombat in the story mode as in "Cool Character with lots of potential only to serve as jobber fodder for other characters and never actually be playable in it"

Obviously, I'm very late to this part- but Guilty Gear has done a fantastic job making their story modes look great AND have good writing, etc. Daisuke Ishiwatari is a LEGEND.

The only explanation I can think of for the state of this campaign is that Capcom shifted all resources to MHW and banked on MvC:I surviving on passable game-play and the loyalty of fans. This looks like a PS3 game.

I'm not gonna lie, Dante casually chatting at Ghost Rider and getting a typical Ghost Rider uber-drama monologue in return is amazing, hilarious, and I totally wanna see Dante and GR just hanging out. Idk something like Dante asking Ghost Rider if he wants a slice of pizza and GR just goes on some long, metaphorical tangent about the relation between the sizzling red sauce and bubbling cheese of the pizza being comparable to the plains of the underworld, and how there are still many sinners to bring penance to, that pizza is just a distraction. And Dante is just nodding like "yeah man I know what you mean."

They had the budget of about 1 SFV DLC Season. They had to recycle a lot of MVC3 content, including models. Throwing models meant for a cel-shaded game into a game with an art style as consistent as Mario Odyssey’s level theming doesn’t work.
Even 'Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars', a game released exclusively for the Wii, makes Infinite look primitive in comparison.
Well the older models are considerably lower poly than these ones which are hidden perfectly well by the art style. Same reason why Wind Waker aged better visually than Twilight Princess.
