“It’s the law” Woolie really wasn’t wrong. It isn’t a Devil May cry game without Dante getting stabbed by his own sword. Also quick thing. It’s assumed that either the order or Dante managed to retrieve the broken Yamato from the demon realm after his failure to defeat Mundus. If it was the order it makes sense seeing as how they have it, if it was Dante then it can be inferred it was stolen by the order.

What about her is lacking tho? We can see she is very caring, impressionable, nurturing, and faithful. She is also very supportive and kind. Look I know she isnt like Lady or whatever, but those ARE personality traits. And it's those traits that make it obvious why Nero went through so much for her in 4. You can tell why he fell in love with her. This is just who she is and people give her flack because she was a damsel in distress. Which basically translates to me that even after several years, you can see some of that Anita Sarkeesian bullshit still lingers in the minds of people. Which is sad.

Something that bothers me. Dante makes fun of Neros motorcycle sword, but he's just got a regular sword off of some rando cult member. It doesn't do motorcycle noises until Kyrie brings him his sword.

The regular swords used by the Order members also have some form the combustion system in them, Nero just has a highly modified version that's even more bonkers than theirs. The principle design was made by Agnus and can even be seen in the artificial Angelo demons that he made that also have it built into their weapons.

Man I am so glad they learned from their mistakes for DMC5. This game had a lot of cool stuff going for it, but then they had some dumb stuff like the plants that basically just eat you whenever. I'm talking about the ones in the forest that just appear underneath you and are hard to avoid if you're in the middle of an animation. I really like just being able to focus on the enemies so I can do combos like a cool guy, and something built into the level that's basically just slapping me with its dick like "STOP THE COMBO!" is super frustrating!

It’s assumed that either the order or Dante managed to retrieve the broken Yamato from the demon realm after his failure to defeat Mundus. If it was the order it makes sense seeing as how they have it, if it was Dante then it can be inferred it was stolen by the order.
I always reckoned it got left on Mallet Island and blown to shit somewhere when the island exploded.
Dante probably sold Yamato for rent money. This is a possible theory.

What about her is lacking tho? We can see she is very caring, impressionable, nurturing, and faithful. She is also very supportive and kind. Look I know she isnt like Lady or whatever, but those ARE personality traits. And it's those traits that make it obvious why Nero went through so much for her in 4. You can tell why he fell in love with her. This is just who she is and people give her flack because she was a damsel in distress. Which basically translates to me that even after several years, you can see some of that Anita Sarkeesian bullshit still lingers in the minds of people. Which is sad.

Something that bothers me. Dante makes fun of Neros motorcycle sword, but he's just got a regular sword off of some rando cult member. It doesn't do motorcycle noises until Kyrie brings him his sword.
The regular swords used by the Order members also have some form the combustion system in them, Nero just has a highly modified version that's even more bonkers than theirs. The principle design was made by Agnus and can even be seen in the artificial Angelo demons that he made that also have it built into their weapons.
Both the caliburn swords wielded by the Order of the Swords foot soldiers, and the durandal swords wielded by their officers have engines built into them. Red Queen is just highly customized and more powerful in comparison.

Man I am so glad they learned from their mistakes for DMC5. This game had a lot of cool stuff going for it, but then they had some dumb stuff like the plants that basically just eat you whenever. I'm talking about the ones in the forest that just appear underneath you and are hard to avoid if you're in the middle of an animation. I really like just being able to focus on the enemies so I can do combos like a cool guy, and something built into the level that's basically just slapping me with its dick like "STOP THE COMBO!" is super frustrating!
