just bought this and been using it for 2 days now. its amazing. best headset ive ever had. some of the best sound ive heard, very clear and footsteps are easy to pick up. the mic seems to be quiet (on mine) but very clear. Dont expect big bass. its more crisp and tight rather than booming . This is also very comfy and the memory foam conforms to the shape of your head

Got these yesterday and they really are awesome. And they feel comfortable when i have my glasses on. No ear fatigue whatsoever.

I don't know how people can eat chips and play games I tried it but I don't want my hand to be Greasy and all
I added that for the "typical gamer" look lol. I can't eat and play either. I'd go nuts if I got grease on my controllers.
Good thing I'm not the only one that dose that. If I do eat chips during a game ill have a 1 min eat chip break thing and have a towel to wipe my hands on. Lol and also I use my beats studio wireless head set for when I game on the ps4 but they the cup tore cause of my glasses but I stick it back should've use black sting instead of white. ;"(

Ive tried quite a few headsets for the ps4 returning them all and finally settled on the gold wireless headset, it gets the job done.

What did you think about them?
Overall, it is awesome! I've had it for 4 months now and it still works the same from when I first got it. Whenever I am in a party chat with others, I am able to hear them clearly. Others in the party chats never complained about the clarity of my voice. You can also use it to record commentary for game clips or for when you are streaming gameplay. I love also hearing the sounds of the game through them. The gameplay sound is clear but not overbearing when also speaking with others in a party chat. The only downfall about the headset is that it doesn't come with the adapters needed for console gaming. You have to buy that yourself. It comes with the default cables to connect to a PC. I brought the PS4 adapter cable directly from Sennheiser to make it compatible with the console. Overall, I am pretty happy with this headset. This is the first gaming headset that I ever invested in and I think it is going to be a long time before I consider getting another one. I may not even consider getting another headset in the future since all of its cables are replaceable.
+Seuachi i bought the game ones and they sound great but no mic. How did you get yours to work? Im trying to figure out the issue with mine. I do have the adapter for ps4 but theirs a issue with the mic. I was playing battlefield and tried to be in the party and then plug with mic boom down and got it to work for a short time then by the next match no mic again. Very frustrating.
+whatfreedom7 Try unplugging and then replugging everything back in and make sure that when you begin to talk that the microphone is towards your mouth since if you put it up, it puts your mic on mute. Make sure everything is plugged firmly into the correct color code. If that doesn't work, it's possible that there could be a defect in either the PS4 adapter or the headset itself. I would also suggest calling Sennheiser's customer support so that they can further evaluate your situation and provide you with options as to go by solving this issue. I also suggest to check online and see if anyone else has had this same issue and if they were able to fix it.

watched this review first as the test for my personal set of G4me Zeros. (Found it for $200 on Bestbuy.com white color only tho.) I'm already blown away by the performance and you were definitely accurate about the sound of bass within the set. I compensated by tuning the bass on my laptop and tv. Great Review! Keep it Up.

Agreed. But to anybody who doesn't know: the newer version of the Game Zero (since 2015) comes with a second shorter cable for PS4/XBox One and Mac. So you won't have an annoying lying on your lap, which might be another potential loose connection, but instead one nice shorter cable. I absolutely love that. And also, I just leave the PC cable connected to my PC and swap it out into my PS4, without the need to crawl behind my PC table.

Another less well-known but more relevant reason for a good seal around the ear is to isolate the drivers from moving air. Since headphone drivers are relatively small compared to speakers, they have a harder time pushing the air. That's why you need to seal the area inside of the driver from the outside, so that the air inside the driver is calm and the driver can push air efficiently.

thanks for this review, dude. i wanna ask, are you sure this headset is loud enough for PS4 user? i have the same converter to input to DS4, i used Sennheiser HD25 with zalman mic. it works, but i found one problem, it's not loud enough for my taste, or rather i should say, it's really low volume, especially when you play a shooter games. you might be hear your friends, but probably don't really get background sound that details. it was already max volume, or i missed something? i wanted to buy G4me One before, but after tested my few headset, i'm so doubt about it right now. sorry for my english.

Hey there , just subscribed to your channel- awesome review. A quick question - how do these perform with the Xbox one and ps4 pro? I usually use the 7.1 surround sound headsets and therefore am concerned that this headset won't perform as well as the ones I have... should i be worried about sound quality or are these headsets just as good (or better)? Also , would you recommend these over the Astro A50's, turtle beach etc? My main use will be ps4 pro , Xbox 1 x (when released). Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

Was looking at getting a headset for my PS4 in anticipation of Destiny and saw these. love them! but still extremely pricey for a wired headset with no virtual surround sound or chat/volume mixer (i know these are PC headsets). I am most likely going with the Sony Gold headset but am worried about sound/mic quality. How do the Sony Golds sound in shooter games? will the volume go loud enough to immerse myself?
First of all I know they're quite different, but if you had to choose one and only one between these and the M50x, which one would it be? Great videos BTW, good channel.
For anyone wondering, you CAN use this headset on the XBox 360 if you buy the Astro mixamp. I'm 99.9% sure but I could be wrong.
Probably late to the party, but just got these, and it came with a 2nd cord which can be subbed out for use with the PS4 (only 1 3.5mm cord. Still need the other adapter for the Xbox. Not sure if this 2nd cord came with your set when you originally purchased them, but they were in my box. Much shorter cord (3-4ft)

Question. I know the Zero's are 150 Ohm impedance. Did the Xbox One chat adapter have any issues driving the Zero's? I'm worried about them not being loud enough. Also how do you feel about these not having surround sound on the Xbox One? Just stereo is kind of disappointing.

what is the difference between the G4ME ZERO and the previous PC360 model? I own a pair of PC360's, and use them with a Mixamp Pro and a MS adapter for Xbox One, and most of my friends say they can never hear me. Is there anything new in the this model that would address this issue?

My ATH-WS70 (i think) broke :/ now i only have a creative fatality headset and the in-ear headphones that came with my htc one m8.. tho i guess i also have the speakers of the phone, which are pretty badass :D My Question is: are the audio tech. M100x worth the ~130 $?
Just to let you know if you use a amp as intended the bass is pretty heavy and tight everything sounds better
The bass is subtle because it needs 150 ohms. if you give it the juice it needs with an amp I've heard this thing has extremely intense bass.
