Indeed, EC2-B Is ergonomy-wise the absolute KING. Aspecially for palm grip.

@@unknownentity8256 I've always used ambidextrous mice of various shapes but always ambidextrous. I have a hybrid claw grip and sometimes recede into fingertip but mostly claw hybrid. Almost everyone in any games professional scene or good aimers with my grip use a right handed ergonomic mouse and I am really considering getting one at this point. I think I might wait for the Glorious Model D Wireless and switch from my Model O wired unit. Like damn every single person I have seen with my grip has insane success and comfort with EC2-B type shape. Might even get the Pwnage ultra ergo model. Don't know why I replied to you to type this essay but yeah just sayin.

Back in like 2016/17 I got global csgo using the EC2A, since it broke nothing has come close. Tried all kinds of modern mice and nothing feels right, always end up back on the EC2. Best shape.

About the cable I can understand, they should use a parachord instead of rubber but the pros prefer rubber even against the parachord as it produces a little drag on the mouse pad, but the rubber just moves perfectly I don't really get it but hey I am not judging anyone maybe it's just a placebo thing

The stock cable is the best rubber cable I've used. That being said it was night and day having it paracorded. The actual weight of the cable is the biggest thing. And if you have it in a bungie you shouldn't feel snags. After using wireless mice the paracord helped me forget the cable was there if that makes sense.

I think mouse and mats are personal choice, also key switches. Somehow I love heavy mouse so it suits me better. Main thing for which I wouldn't considering buying logitech is double click, I have experienced it in there cheaper mouses many times.

When glorious makes the model D wireless that could be the move for you. I had the coating problem with the new gpro superlight. So I got some btl grips which fixed my issue.

All mice are personal preference. I used a G Pro Wireless for almost 2 years. It's a great mouse, but I had to adapt to a weird raptor grip in order for me to use it with my hand size and it would get uncomfortable during long gaming sessions. I recently got a Glorious Model D wireless and it's infinitely more comfortable now that I don't have to force my fingers into a certain position. I don't think I'll ever go back to wired, but no one should feel like they need to play with a brand simply for the name and popularity of it.

same here, i used the g pro wireless and viper for a while, both are excellent mice overall but in shape, my ec1 just has other feeling, cuz i realized my longrange aim in the EC1 is more consistent than the GPW.

This. I tried the viper and just could not get used to it, despite still being able to force claw/palm hybrid. Waiting for my DA v2 to get here, I would get the zowie if they have better cords and feet, and the fact that they cost 100 dollars in Canada with mysterious shipping time.

I had to immediately swap out back to EC2-B the shape is just impossible to adjust for me at this point. The design of the shape is the best for my hand that I've ever used by a long shot and I've played with alot of different mice. Last nail in the coffin was the lightness of the click, literally so light I atleast once a game shot accidentally without intention, lol. I just really wish Zowie would come out with a wireless option to their mice like I've got no f***ing clue why they haven't released them yet. I'd be so happy if there was a wireless EC2-B....

Same here, I've been using the EC1-A for years, and bought the Logitech G Pro Superlight. I will return it at go back to Zowie. Its way to light, very awkward to hold since it's ambidextrous, and mushy clicks. I don't understand how this mouse is so universally praised.

Guud vid bro! I use a EC2-A at the moment and love it, maybe change the cable soon or buy the new C version. I also have a EC1-B and a GPW, ec1 shape doesn't feel just bigger but different, and the version "B" means that is has a new sensor (the old one was good anyway...) different coating, which I don't like as much as the "A" version, and has awful skates like 4 small skates on the corners. The GPW is good enough pretty safe.. Just cant aim as well with it as with the ec2, also I have click problems on mine so is kinda disappointing.

I went from Ec2 to gpro (way too small) to Glorious Model D minus and finally back to Ec2. There's just something about that damn shape. Even tho the model d is the same shape its a little different at the back.

I wish the EC2 back hump was a bit more pronounced on the right side. That, and I find the middle click too tough to actuate compared to something like the DeathAdder V2 Middle click. Other than that, awesome mouse yeah. Personally I’d love it if Zowie made an EC1.5 since I found the EC2 to be too small while the EC1 is definitely too big for my grip/hand size.

@@whytronicnorthborn7269 I own a DA V2 and V3 and for me the V2 is a lot more comfortable for my grip style/hand size than the V3 - the V3 is less wide and has a flatter right side/less pronounced back right hump than the V2 and I actually find the flare really comfortable for my grip so I suppose the DA V2 Pro it is (my only grip with the V2 is it’s really hard to reach the furthest forward side button I find).

I actually have the EC1 and the reason im using it is because no other mouse can fit my palm grip. I've tried Razer Deathadder V2, Razer Mamba Elite, GPW, even some Corsair mice, and no mouse can fit my palm grip. I have 18cm by 9cm hands. The EC1 is still the only mouse that fits.

The pwnage mouse has the fastest feet I’ve ever used. Way faster than the hyperglides I had on my g pro wireless. You should give it a try.

hi, i use a pwnage ergo and a gpx as daily gaming / general use mouses, the gpx basically fixed the gpw problems (even that you can fix the gpw by changing switches and some other small stuff), the pwnage ergo is just good (a bit of post / pre travel but is still good, shape close to the ec2)

dpi can be reassigned in the program by default to shift by 400 and it will always be at 400 or remove 800 altogether and leave only 400

Doesn't matter. Even if only one dpi profile exists it will be at 800 for a few seconds out of sleep. Doesn't matter if it on software or on board. It's a known issue.

I recommend getting a G-wolves skoll , it literally an ec2 shape clone identical shape completely , weighs like 55g , better mouse feet , paracord like cable , comes with grip tape too if you want to cover up the holes and add grippiness.

You maybe already knows this but mousefeet are a preference so not everyone agrees that having faster mousefeets or lighter mouse are better. I read physics at university and can confirm that "lighter" or "faster feet" doesn't mean better. How mousefeets feels depends on what surface it's on and how much the mouse weights.

I claw grip my EC2 but the way I do it it's super weird like the mouse is almost diagonal to my hand, I want to get a more symetrical mouse instead but I like how tall the EC2 is and the other zowie mice and all shorter, any recommendations?

I just swapped to the model o wireless this past week and i didnt think i would like how low profile it is because I too enjoy the height of the ec2. But It fills your hand nicely because of the back being fairly wide. I'd look into model o wireless, deathadder v2 and g703 if you don't mind the weight. people say good things about the xtrfy M4 too. hope that helps.

although i did swap to the ec2. i wish i bought the pwnage. its basically a 1 for 1 ec clone thats lighter and wireless. that said the g pro x is for sure a top5 mouse right now just expensive, plus it is really comfy despite being ambi. i wouldnt get the 703 because of the weight but that's just me. I actually just got a model o wireless and im using that over both of these mice right now.

@beaverG to fix the wakeup DPI change turn on onboard memory and set it 400dpi and remove all other DPI's make sure you save the onboard profile and then switch back and all should be fixed that how I fixed mine it always 400dpi now

put any logitech mouse in onboard mode and then save the default dpi you set and then take it back out of on board mode and you wont have that waking up dpi bug. it reads the internal chip first then connects to software... I dont know if there are any physical benefits to non on board mode so I just kept it on board so If I had to go to a lan that doesnt let you download anything

You should try the fnatic Flick G1. The best shape ever. It has a shape similar to the G Pro but so much better the way it should be. But because it's a fnatic mouse no one cared no one gave the hype or the false publicity that these mice receive. When Flick G1 came no one talked about his shape but the G Pro which has similar shape but worst of course with the right media control it's what it is. If you wan't you can even try the Flick 2 despite slightly different it's almost a G1. G1 is just the best shape i ever found to palm grip.

7.5 x 3.5'' I made this video with a Model 0 wireless coming in the mail and I honestly prefer that mouse. (only been a day) but i would still say the ec2 is slightly more comfortable. Ive never tried the xm1 or the s2 but those have humps that are more towards the back and thats something to consider. Thanks for watching!

xm1 replaced with xm1r. S2 can be substituted with PUC Symmetrical. Ec2 can be replaced with Model D-, Gwolves Skoll or PUC Ergo. And the Viper mini? It's in it's own league, exceptional build quality for the price, there are some substitutes but can't beat the Viper mini at that price such as Model O- and Hati-S.

I have used both ec2 and xm1, and s1. Nit s2. The xm1 is a fantastic mouse. The s1 and xm1 are close in shape. I prefer xm1. The ec2 is different all together. Most say shape is king. In that case xm1 and ec2 are close. But I'd choose between those two. Also, remember you have to paracord your ec2 if you get one

Bungees are the spring cable holders, if you mean the orange cable on his mouse, all paracord cables are the same and the cable color doesn't matter.

The FK1+ I bought the same time as my second GPW is still good as new, had to RMA my first GPW after 5 months for double clicking and the second GPW I bought also double-clicked in less than a year, the 2 replacement GPWs that came also double clicked with the latest just last year. I had to call it quits after 4 fucking GPWs sucking.

used a ec2 fk1/2 and even a s2 all very good mice still have them sitting here switched to a g305 because i wanted to get a wireless mouse....cant get back to zowie mice they are good but the cable distracts me now :/... im happy with the g305 tho

If you used an FK mouse I'd really recommend getting G Pro since it's very similar to the FK shape. (bought one myself but I've used a EC2 so long that I can't adjust to the shape). :(

If it's your style then go for it. A lot of people will suggest the pwnage ultra custom symmetrical, as it's a one for one clone and wireless. But if you want the zowie go for it. I don't use my zowie currently as I got a model o wireless as a gift and I'm loving it, but that being said my ec2 is the most solid mouse I own build quality wise. Hope this helps.

@@fritidjoffen the shape is very similar, but the g703 has rubber sides for a better grip and the side buttons are easier to click. So the g703 to me is a better mouse than the Ec2, but the Ec2 is still a fine mouse.

i love the ec2 and ive been using it for years the only thing that's starting to bother me a bit is that i want a lighter version and upgrade on the side buttons and the scroll

Indeed, EC2-B Is ergonomy-wise the absolute KING. Aspecially for palm grip.
@@unknownentity8256 I've always used ambidextrous mice of various shapes but always ambidextrous. I have a hybrid claw grip and sometimes recede into fingertip but mostly claw hybrid. Almost everyone in any games professional scene or good aimers with my grip use a right handed ergonomic mouse and I am really considering getting one at this point. I think I might wait for the Glorious Model D Wireless and switch from my Model O wired unit. Like damn every single person I have seen with my grip has insane success and comfort with EC2-B type shape. Might even get the Pwnage ultra ergo model. Don't know why I replied to you to type this essay but yeah just sayin.

Back in like 2016/17 I got global csgo using the EC2A, since it broke nothing has come close. Tried all kinds of modern mice and nothing feels right, always end up back on the EC2. Best shape.
About the cable I can understand, they should use a parachord instead of rubber but the pros prefer rubber even against the parachord as it produces a little drag on the mouse pad, but the rubber just moves perfectly I don't really get it but hey I am not judging anyone maybe it's just a placebo thing
The stock cable is the best rubber cable I've used. That being said it was night and day having it paracorded. The actual weight of the cable is the biggest thing. And if you have it in a bungie you shouldn't feel snags. After using wireless mice the paracord helped me forget the cable was there if that makes sense.
I think mouse and mats are personal choice, also key switches. Somehow I love heavy mouse so it suits me better. Main thing for which I wouldn't considering buying logitech is double click, I have experienced it in there cheaper mouses many times.

When glorious makes the model D wireless that could be the move for you. I had the coating problem with the new gpro superlight. So I got some btl grips which fixed my issue.
All mice are personal preference. I used a G Pro Wireless for almost 2 years. It's a great mouse, but I had to adapt to a weird raptor grip in order for me to use it with my hand size and it would get uncomfortable during long gaming sessions. I recently got a Glorious Model D wireless and it's infinitely more comfortable now that I don't have to force my fingers into a certain position. I don't think I'll ever go back to wired, but no one should feel like they need to play with a brand simply for the name and popularity of it.
Can never go wrong with the good ole trusty Ec2 , my aim was always decent with it, even though I use other mice now I can always go back be consistent with it.

@@jhtongamer3151 there is no "best" mouse. Mice are preference. Just find whatever size and shape you like in a mouse and measure your hand and go from there.

same here, i used the g pro wireless and viper for a while, both are excellent mice overall but in shape, my ec1 just has other feeling, cuz i realized my longrange aim in the EC1 is more consistent than the GPW.
This. I tried the viper and just could not get used to it, despite still being able to force claw/palm hybrid. Waiting for my DA v2 to get here, I would get the zowie if they have better cords and feet, and the fact that they cost 100 dollars in Canada with mysterious shipping time.
How is the deathadder v2 with you is it worth it ?
I had to immediately swap out back to EC2-B the shape is just impossible to adjust for me at this point. The design of the shape is the best for my hand that I've ever used by a long shot and I've played with alot of different mice. Last nail in the coffin was the lightness of the click, literally so light I atleast once a game shot accidentally without intention, lol. I just really wish Zowie would come out with a wireless option to their mice like I've got no f***ing clue why they haven't released them yet. I'd be so happy if there was a wireless EC2-B....
Same here, I've been using the EC1-A for years, and bought the Logitech G Pro Superlight. I will return it at go back to Zowie. Its way to light, very awkward to hold since it's ambidextrous, and mushy clicks. I don't understand how this mouse is so universally praised.

Guud vid bro! I use a EC2-A at the moment and love it, maybe change the cable soon or buy the new C version. I also have a EC1-B and a GPW, ec1 shape doesn't feel just bigger but different, and the version "B" means that is has a new sensor (the old one was good anyway...) different coating, which I don't like as much as the "A" version, and has awful skates like 4 small skates on the corners. The GPW is good enough pretty safe.. Just cant aim as well with it as with the ec2, also I have click problems on mine so is kinda disappointing.

I went from Ec2 to gpro (way too small) to Glorious Model D minus and finally back to Ec2. There's just something about that damn shape. Even tho the model d is the same shape its a little different at the back.

Every new EC2 I’ve had comes out of box with the same scroll wheel issues, but it always breaks in and feels normal after a while.
you need to do more videos about mice in general, i like the way how to explain.
I wish the EC2 back hump was a bit more pronounced on the right side. That, and I find the middle click too tough to actuate compared to something like the DeathAdder V2 Middle click. Other than that, awesome mouse yeah. Personally I’d love it if Zowie made an EC1.5 since I found the EC2 to be too small while the EC1 is definitely too big for my grip/hand size.

@@whytronicnorthborn7269 I own a DA V2 and V3 and for me the V2 is a lot more comfortable for my grip style/hand size than the V3 - the V3 is less wide and has a flatter right side/less pronounced back right hump than the V2 and I actually find the flare really comfortable for my grip so I suppose the DA V2 Pro it is (my only grip with the V2 is it’s really hard to reach the furthest forward side button I find).
I actually have the EC1 and the reason im using it is because no other mouse can fit my palm grip. I've tried Razer Deathadder V2, Razer Mamba Elite, GPW, even some Corsair mice, and no mouse can fit my palm grip. I have 18cm by 9cm hands. The EC1 is still the only mouse that fits.
Dude I have the same measurement as you in my hand, but I use EC2 and I also have EC1 too, but I feel more comfortable with EC2 rather than EC1.

Have you changed yet? The Xlite Wireless just came out for $75 which is basically like the Pwnage except better (both EC2 Clones). The Xlite is an insane deal right now.

The pwnage mouse has the fastest feet I’ve ever used. Way faster than the hyperglides I had on my g pro wireless. You should give it a try.

hi, i use a pwnage ergo and a gpx as daily gaming / general use mouses, the gpx basically fixed the gpw problems (even that you can fix the gpw by changing switches and some other small stuff), the pwnage ergo is just good (a bit of post / pre travel but is still good, shape close to the ec2)
and you can make them even lighter, im tempted
I've tried a lot of mice and I still daily the g502 hands down best mouse ever made up to this point IMO it's like they took a mold of my hand and made this mouse for me specifically

Are you still on the EC2? I mained the pwnage ergo for a year and the shape is great, but the clicks are mushy crap. Enough so that I switched to the ec3
dpi can be reassigned in the program by default to shift by 400 and it will always be at 400 or remove 800 altogether and leave only 400
Doesn't matter. Even if only one dpi profile exists it will be at 800 for a few seconds out of sleep. Doesn't matter if it on software or on board. It's a known issue.

i tried the g pro superlight but i couldnt stand the fact that you couldnt adjust the horrible lift off distance and the side buttons are too small for my taste

I recommend getting a G-wolves skoll , it literally an ec2 shape clone identical shape completely , weighs like 55g , better mouse feet , paracord like cable , comes with grip tape too if you want to cover up the holes and add grippiness.
Skoll is ec1 size, skoll s is smaller than ec2.
@@benshiro5008 It's actually in-between EC1 and 2, I have a Skoll that I've gutted and 3D printed a base for and put the internals of GPW in it, so best of both worlds.
You maybe already knows this but mousefeet are a preference so not everyone agrees that having faster mousefeets or lighter mouse are better. I read physics at university and can confirm that "lighter" or "faster feet" doesn't mean better. How mousefeets feels depends on what surface it's on and how much the mouse weights.
I claw grip my EC2 but the way I do it it's super weird like the mouse is almost diagonal to my hand, I want to get a more symetrical mouse instead but I like how tall the EC2 is and the other zowie mice and all shorter, any recommendations?
I just swapped to the model o wireless this past week and i didnt think i would like how low profile it is because I too enjoy the height of the ec2. But It fills your hand nicely because of the back being fairly wide. I'd look into model o wireless, deathadder v2 and g703 if you don't mind the weight. people say good things about the xtrfy M4 too. hope that helps.

i use scroll to jump aswel and i found that its actually a nice wheel to use. just not to listen to. its usable for sure

yes i still use it. ive tried a couple other mice since then but I literally always keep the ec2 on the desk. that being said since this video was released there are way better and lighter wireless ergos available, like the deathadder v3

@beaverG to fix the wakeup DPI change turn on onboard memory and set it 400dpi and remove all other DPI's make sure you save the onboard profile and then switch back and all should be fixed that how I fixed mine it always 400dpi now

put any logitech mouse in onboard mode and then save the default dpi you set and then take it back out of on board mode and you wont have that waking up dpi bug. it reads the internal chip first then connects to software... I dont know if there are any physical benefits to non on board mode so I just kept it on board so If I had to go to a lan that doesnt let you download anything

You should try the fnatic Flick G1. The best shape ever. It has a shape similar to the G Pro but so much better the way it should be. But because it's a fnatic mouse no one cared no one gave the hype or the false publicity that these mice receive. When Flick G1 came no one talked about his shape but the G Pro which has similar shape but worst of course with the right media control it's what it is. If you wan't you can even try the Flick 2 despite slightly different it's almost a G1. G1 is just the best shape i ever found to palm grip.

7.5 x 3.5'' I made this video with a Model 0 wireless coming in the mail and I honestly prefer that mouse. (only been a day) but i would still say the ec2 is slightly more comfortable. Ive never tried the xm1 or the s2 but those have humps that are more towards the back and thats something to consider. Thanks for watching!
@@beaverg5702 s2 and za-b have sharp side buttons. I can't use them because of that. the EC2 is spared from sharp side buttons luckily though.
@@Leopardipzg yeah it all depends on what you are willing to trade off I guess. for some people they don't mind the mushy buttons of the ec2, for others its a dealbreaker
xm1 replaced with xm1r. S2 can be substituted with PUC Symmetrical. Ec2 can be replaced with Model D-, Gwolves Skoll or PUC Ergo. And the Viper mini? It's in it's own league, exceptional build quality for the price, there are some substitutes but can't beat the Viper mini at that price such as Model O- and Hati-S.
I have used both ec2 and xm1, and s1. Nit s2. The xm1 is a fantastic mouse. The s1 and xm1 are close in shape. I prefer xm1. The ec2 is different all together. Most say shape is king. In that case xm1 and ec2 are close. But I'd choose between those two. Also, remember you have to paracord your ec2 if you get one

Bungees are the spring cable holders, if you mean the orange cable on his mouse, all paracord cables are the same and the cable color doesn't matter.
bruh is the double clicking really that big of a problem it only double clicks if you smack the button its not like it will just double click randomly for no reason

The FK1+ I bought the same time as my second GPW is still good as new, had to RMA my first GPW after 5 months for double clicking and the second GPW I bought also double-clicked in less than a year, the 2 replacement GPWs that came also double clicked with the latest just last year. I had to call it quits after 4 fucking GPWs sucking.

I returned these days back to Zowie also. Fk2 is even better than Ec2. I own both.
Your actually insane at aim labs tho
for some reason the ec series just makes everyone aim better which is why it has decades of use in pro play

If it's your style then go for it. A lot of people will suggest the pwnage ultra custom symmetrical, as it's a one for one clone and wireless. But if you want the zowie go for it. I don't use my zowie currently as I got a model o wireless as a gift and I'm loving it, but that being said my ec2 is the most solid mouse I own build quality wise. Hope this helps.

yea but its wired and thats just a fat L for me. my gpw finally has a double click issue and i picked up a model O wireless and I fell in love. model D wireless coming very soon
Oops I went from the Ec2 to the G703, I like both mice but at the moment I prefer the G703 just a tad bit more because no cable.
Is the shape very similar?
@@fritidjoffen the shape is very similar, but the g703 has rubber sides for a better grip and the side buttons are easier to click. So the g703 to me is a better mouse than the Ec2, but the Ec2 is still a fine mouse.
At the end of the day everything comes down to personal preference

i love the ec2 and ive been using it for years the only thing that's starting to bother me a bit is that i want a lighter version and upgrade on the side buttons and the scroll
