6:00 answer is simple. Arsenal always performs well in May because the pressure is off and season is over for not only us but also the opponents. Players give tat extra 1 percent in the hope that they won't be sold in the summer.

If Partey don't start this game or not involved at all, then it means his future is done and his not in Arteta's plans moving forward

It would be good to rest a few key players for today, you could start the fringe players and keep some extremely important players on the bench, just in case. Hopefully we can do it with the second tier lads, so the huge minutes players can rest for Tuesday.

@@jsim5475 It's the hope. If you don't have hope, then you are hopeless. And you never know. The other title challengers might pick up less points than us. Also, we show that we are improving from last season. We are still up there late April We have a better goals against than last season.
May's performances are largely due to the pressure being off as we've usually blown it by then
Hello Charles hope this team you picked would start this match against Wolves after two bad second half results against Villa and Bayern players looked tired in those 2 games, we do need to freshen up this side for this game and i would add only Esr as well and rest our captain, and Charles Saka is tired we can all see, next season we can't keep depending and use him like this if we are going to compete for all this tittles, we have perfect player who will help him with that load Pedro Neto that should be our top 2 transfer target with Isak.

Problem is he only trusts about 13 players. Youre always gunna run outta steam with 13 players competing on two fronts with that intensity. Where he did fuck up was not blooding players like partey/esr/vieira back in. Villa at home shoulda been a partey rice game for example. We need a killer an alexis sanchez type saka and martinelli arent that unfortunately. Would love a striker no doubt but honestly would be just as happy with a killer winger type fit in form rashford type of player an x factor. That would raise sakas game too. Isak is the dream but to be honest something like guimareas watkins and olise would be a TOP window Theres my two cents anyway thanks Charles

It’s a shame that the games we were multiple goals up by half time weren’t used to train up back ups in the odegaard and saka positions, particularly focussing on Emile and nelson/viera. There didn’t seem to be much repetitive focus on those players so now there’s no faith in them to step in when needed because we haven’t seen them with any regularity. We’ve had many games this year where that could have been done.
We did. Lots of subs were made including Nwaneri getting a run. What have you been watching?
@@slyarsenal what I meant is that we didn’t sub on particular players that we would need as back up(odegaard/Emile, Saka/nelson/viera) in consecutive games to get them into rhythm and match sharp. There were lots of subs used but without regularity in appearance and game time they always looked slightly off the pace when they did get a chance. If Emile had played 25-30 mins in most of the games where we had the luxury to do that he would be a lot more able to deputise for odegaard if needed in the tail end of the season. Same with the other mentioned players.

@@arjitjere1559 Halftime subs can be dangerous. Ruins the balance of the team and can be dangerous even when 2-3 goals up. This is why most subs are done between the 60-75th min and usually it's 2 players first then another 2 later, depending on in-game management. I think too many fans think they can do a better job than Arteta. It happens every time we have bad results. Everyone thinks they can outdo a pro manager who has a team of professionals from coaching staff, medical staff and anaylsts. Look at Liverpool and City. All team look tired. Liverpool probably worse than Arsenal. Why aren't people like you critiquing Klopp or Pep? Is it because theyve won trophies and are exempt from the same judgement as Arteta? Or is it because people can't see obvious facts? Get behind the team, do your part, stay in your lane and allow leave the coaching to the professionals
@@slyarsenal expressing opinions doesn’t mean that we’re saying we can do a better job than Arteta or that we’re not behind the team. We’re simply expressing opinions. And how do you know we’re not critiquing Klopp or Pep? You don’t. This is an Arsenal channel and video so we’re discussing Arsenal. If the only people allowed to express opinions we’re the managers themselves then shows like this wouldn’t exist and no one would ever comment. Perhaps try staying in your own lane and away from other peoples opinions if you don’t like reading them.

Thank you. All have been subpar. Even Rice too needs a break. Bring in Partey ESR Tomi Jesus/Troussard and Nelson. At this point we have nothing to lose. No need to risk injuries to already knackered players plus we got a big one against Chelsea in midweek..

Hi Charles, thanks a lot again for great contents as usual. The reason why we perform better in May than in April is not rocket science. Nothing to do with the energy level. As we usually blow all our chances for success in April, the pressure is completely off in May and we can play our usual game… It’s all in our heads…
They need to bench Saka and play Trossard , Martinelli and Jesus. Bench the captain and play Smith Rowe and Partey. The players are obviously gassed. There is Chelsea in a couple of days
I completely disagree with you Charles. The league is over bar the shouting. Our players are better than their recent performances, similar to last season. It’s a reflection that unique pressure a title run in presents. Arteta would be much better off, removing the pressure from the team. Tell them the season is over, tell them that he’s proud of them, tell them not to worry about the result but to just play their game and enjoy themselves. It’s the best way as far as I’m concerned, otherwise it will be another L today. 🔴⚪️

Arteta is talking rubbish, we the fans keep asking why isn't he giving the other players game time,we also asked why is he overplaying Saka?why is he playing Jesus as a 9? Why does he keeps starting Zinny at lefback,Arteta is too stubborn, why is he not making substitutions earlier?
Charles stop letting Arteta off the hook by making excuses for him. For 3 season in a row we are making the same mistakes as a team and as a manager. Hold him accountable
