It amazes me how much Usyk is disrespected. So underappreciated.
I love both fighters. Usyk is sensational. I tipped him to beat Joshua twice to my friends and they laughed at me. Usyk is incredible. Fury is great too... Whoever gets it done is the man
He isn't by boxers though. A lot of British pundits pick Fury and paper over the cracks. They both have irregular patterns and punch timing, Usyk varies his power, he'll go flick-hard-flick etc... he's more mobile and pivots, and he'll be in and out of range before Fury can tag him. I think Usyk will tire Fury out late on by round 10 and win on points. Maybe even a split decision as there is usually controversy in pro boxing
@@hullcityafc72I see this happening too, but Joshua and Dubois did manage to connect on Usyk, not hurt or tagged him, but connect and I think Fury is more capable than them in terms of boxing. Fury usually adapts and finds a way to win.

Comparing whytes and wilders skils to usyk just shows how clueless simon jordan is. The term 'best version of fury beats usyk' is the preperation for the excuse in case usyk schools Fury. Then everyone will say tyson fury is past his best.

Simon's got zero boxing knowledge. He just repeats what all the other fury fanboys say. Furys fought one elite fighter in his career, but the fact is he beat him at the end of his career, and didnt give him the rematch to prove it wasn't a one off. Wilder is as overrated a fighter as you can get, so all those raiting Furys performances against wilder should check wilders resume first. Hes fought a load of guys he was always ment to knockout.

@@lordfarquard9902 not true AJ's second best win would be Povetkin not Whyte, with how Parker has revived his career he would be AJ's third best win, Ruiz 4th, Pulev 5th and Whyte probably his 6th best win at this point AJ overall has fought more top names then Fury who has only fought Klit,Wilder X3,Whyte (who AJ knocked out first then was knocked out by Povetkin before Fury fought him), and Cunningham Furys resume in terms of top quality names fought is very thin in comparison yes Fury has the two "bigger" wins but overall hasnt fought as high of an opposition

Tyson Fury is one of the most overrated fighters in recent history. He has only beat one elite fighter in his entire career and that was a 40yr old washed up klitschko! Where he fought scared and according to punch stats landed 7 punches a round 6 of which were jabs. Fury then DUCKED the rematch. And then got caught taking steroids but played it off as a mental health hiatus at the same time. He then came back after his ‘retirement’ and is glorified for beating Deontay wilder who is arguably the least skilled champion in the entire history of boxing. Wilder is terrible skill wise and has only ever faced two good fighters and lost to both of them. Deontay started boxing in his 20s and weighed 45lbs less than fury! That’s the same weight difference as lomachenko against Beterbiev!!! Fury’s wins over wilder are not impressive. Wilder is not only one of the worst champions in the history of boxing but he was also seriously undersized against fury. So what’s impressive about it? Fury looked terrible in the second and third fights against wilder. He looked sloppy. Even the first fight isn’t as impressive after joe Parker beat him more convincingly. Fury is a conman!!

The best version Fury is a myth in boxing. The guy is a big lump who leans on people for 12 rounds and had to rely on PEDs to do anything in his career. By far the most overrated boxer the sport has ever seen. If Usyk has anything left in him he will beat Fury with complete ease.

What on earth is Simon Jordan talking about? Let it all be decided in the ring instead of fantasising about it. Fury is younger than Usyk and much the bigger man. There can't really be any excuses. Especially as Fury has struggled against much lesser opponents. If Usyk wins - he's simply the better fighter.

I’ve got Usyk for this one. It’s going to be a long hard night and Usyk will have his work but out to get past that long jab, and will need to be quick & slick to slip out of Fury’s attempts to lean all over him. But I just think the angles he creates, and his intense, unrelenting work rate coupled with his mobility and the speed and accuracy of his punches, will make the difference over the 12 rounds (I think a stoppage is unlikely.) I’m not buying into the vulnerable body thing, yes I’ve seen him wince from a body shot but I’ve also seen him take many other spiteful body shots in his stride. I’m not buying into Fury’s eye as a weak spot either.

Usyk wins. It's not even a debate. Fury will resort to cheating during the fight as he is emarassed by Usyk, so expect low blows, lots of holding and pushing Usyk down in desperation. I can see Fury quitting if it gets to be too one sided and fake an injury. fury is shot. his legs have gone, his chin is suspect, and he just isn't a nimble fighter any more. He doesn't have true power; all his ko's have come through exhaustion, Wilder was so bad he was punched out in each fight by the 5th or 6th rounds and he just gases out. joshua hits way harder than Fury and Usyk didn't budge in those two fights. Dubois for all his limitations hits like a mule kick and we all know Usyks only weakness is body shots: personally i think that was a legit' knock down by Dubois and it sucked all th air out of Usyk, but again he got up and took over after that. Usyk isn't a judge or referee. I think the whole division can beat each other on any given night aside from Usyk who at the moment i'd favour over everyone. i think we won't see Usyk box beyond spring 2025 as he's 38 next birthday so I expect two wins over Fury then he hangs up the gloves, he would have done everything he intended to do at that would be the ultimate high to exit boxing from. Enjoy him while he is here.
And then the narrative will still change and people will argue that the big fights and the best v the best is yet to come and twist the plot to herald with Fury or AJ as the best of this hen after Usyk retires. I have no idea why this undisputed clash is being treated like some sort of semi final when it is clearly the final.

This thing I don’t get is how these folk like to talk up Fury. The guys had 6 title fights his all career, 3 against the same guy who’s subsequently been shown up by Joseph Parker ! He’s had one mandatory defence of a title! How’s he this ‘generational great’!??
*1. Firstly,* Parker is underrated and ohis only legit loss is vs Joyce. Robbed vs AJ and Whyte by bias referees. *2. Secondly,* Fury beat the fight out of Wilder and destroying him both physically, spiritually, and mentally. And styles make fights. That's how Parker won. Doesn't mean undefeated Wilder wouldn't have KOd Parker - or even that this version of Wilder can't beat AJ. *3. Thirdly,* Furys best wins are his wins vs Undefeated Active 10 Year Undefeated Klitschko + Undefeated Prime Wilder. *4. Fury schooled them both in their backyards.* *5.* And just like with Whyte and Chisora - *Klitschko and Wilder literally couldn't land a glove on Fury! He won EVERY round and left the ring totally unmarked!* *6.* With that being said - *name an Usyk win that was vs the same level of opponent where he was that dominant?*

I need to point out something: a long jab for a big man against a seriously good small mover with elite lateral movement is incredibly tough and exhausting. Usyks been training now for over a year😂😂. Start camp stop camp start again another delay reset. It all plays a part. But mainly Usyk too small to beat Tyson. Simple
Talksport and the media look almost shocked when someone picks Usyk to win. Their bias and "good big un beats a good little un" mantra is so predictable. Usyk is not a good little un. He's an exceptional 16 stone 3 belt heavyweight champion who has beaten everyone on the road in his opponents back yards for years. He moves better, is more coordinated and won't be right in front of Fury like all his previous plodding opponents.
There is no version of a fighter if he wins or lose a fight that went to the distance.

Groves is a superb analyst. Him and Froch are so refreshing as whether you agree or not they don’t show bias. Disagree with George though as a Tyson Fury on point is unbeatable. Usyk is phenomenal of course but Tyson despite him being so annoying at times is one hell of a boxer. He beats Usyk and then dismantles AJ for me
