  • Took me 33 years to realise stress just isn't worth it. Chucked my degree job in the bin and did something way less stressful, earn what i need to and have more free time. Best decision I ever made. Great advice John and more from John please.

  • I'm 29 years old and 30 minutes in and I learned more about life than any school or TV program could have taught me. Don't know or care what alleged wrongs he's done in his past look at what he's doing Now he's an example for everyone. No one's perfect but big John is giving it a go

  • The fact Peter and John can read to the level they can is testament to their intelligence. There aren't many travellers their age who can. They're related to a family of well known songwriters / folk musicians from Dublin. You don't need education to be bright.

  • I met John Fury at Tyson's book signing at Leadenhall market. He's the real deal. Happy to talk to anyone, take a picture with him, not living off his son's glory like most would. Need more people with his outlook in the world.

    • I grew up around a lot of traveller boxers. Gives you a very different perspective on them. I always said to them if somebody comes along that's good enough they'll be a superstar as they're the most entertaining, best talkers around. Didn't expect somebody as good as Tyson to come along though. Great to see so many travellers staying on in boxing as most used to fall off very young when they got married.. Lots of very good prospects now.

I used to spend time with a relative of John's, who has since passed, and I've always had a lot of the same interests.   • I really like Big Johns personality. He reminds me of my English grandad. He is a very proud man and I admire that. I sense a lot of insecurity tho, he seems very defensive and gives a lot of copes and contradictions. It’s understandable if course, I’m not judging. He has a lot of charisma but he’s not just spitting unbelievable gems of wisdom like the comments say

The man talks a lot of sense, especially in times when we're heading back to times like he grew up in like food shortages. I'm not a traveler, but have so much respect for their culture. So if you find yourself judging this man, just have a look at yourself!
