  • As a recovering addict myself, who attempted suicide last year and has been clean since and gotten help, I watch Fury get up after that shot from wilder at least once a week and I think to myself "if he can get up after that, I can get up after anything and fight". Literally one of the most inspirational moments in sports history for me personally.

    • @@timkenda8203 I wish you all the best brother, just know you aren't alone in this and there is always someone watching you from up there, talking from personal experience: have been depressed for the last 7 years, couldn't find a contingent meaning in this bumhole of a world, everything failed to pass my scrutiny, everything was so false, meaningless, aesthetic but empty inside, so I thought it was it, after this realization if nothing would show up giving me a holistic explanation of all of this I would have ended my life. I didn't want no career to hide behind, like my parents do with their office jobs, I WANTED TRUTH, ABOUT THIS ALL. Why am I here. Where do I com from. Where am I going. These are the questions I wanted an answer to, and Christ replied to me. It took a long time, as I am a very skeptical and materialistic person (my parents come from an ex-communist country and are hard core atheists, just so you know) to convince me about it, I had to do a lot of research, a lot of effort put in, a lot of fight againts my daily temptations (I successfully stopped masturbating and watching porn, talking about addictions, i'd come 5 times a day) but eventually i'm making it, slowly, but i'm making it. Pray and hope that your heart will finally rest in God's love, I really wish you that. God bless you brother, never stop fighting, just like Fury :)
