    • Not exactly, the old guard wasn't all about "toughen up" no matter how bad the situation is. That's a misconception. The problem with the new guard is that they are far too quick to play the victim. Now every single teen and twenty something I meet moans that they have anxiety when it's nothing more than the typical trials of growing up. Those are the people that need to toughen up. We are breeding a society of soft, molly coddled individuals with arrested development.

  • This has come at a great time for me. My dad was my hero, a fighter, a boxer, a war hero but a great dad. He died in June and listening to John talk I can hear my dad, also called John but he would never say the things said here. Now I understand more. Congratulations to the fury’s for standing tall and deserved success.

  • Such a blessed gentleman John fury is and I have total respect for him and what he's been through I come from an Irish 🍀 family and they loved boxing my great grandfather was a boxer back in Ireland and my uncle was a wrestler over here in England but like John Fury there long passed away miss them dearly respect their life they had but get upset their not here to see all the good things.     • He bate amber regularly though, that’s not a man. He only got away with it because amber lived in England with him. I doubt he would try it in her area she is from the ira stronghold of west Belfast from a massive family. John fury’s first cousins in Ireland are all country travellers from Galway. Aren’t really fighters like ambers family. His first cousin is Finnbar fury from the Irish rebel band

  • I dislike how there's no mention of Peter training Tyson, Peter pushed Tyson to the next level which enabled him to beat Klitschko. That awkward, feinting style Tyson is known for comes from Peter it's such a shame they've fallen out.

    • He'd probably still take Tommy. He was obviously a wild boy whose grown up a little. I'm 59 this week and still think I'm a teenager. Life goes too fast. People who succeed chase a dream and do the work, people who don't succeed, don't do the work. I'd buy him a few beers and if i pissed him off and he clobbered me, I'd be bragging til I died about the day he taught me another lesson. :)
