  • John should have his own podcast where he talks about gypsy life... fascinating man.

    • No that's true ... Like you say Kogan and co should try win him round ( if it came to light, so to speak ). But Johns humbleness and oldskool way of thinking might prevent that from happening .

    • @@barrya355 Yeah, it's a shame because he is actually an interesting man. I would listen to him talk about life if he had his own podcast. I would just have him talking in the background while I'm working. I think he would get a lot of listeners actually, probably a lot more than he realizes. There are a lot of folks in the world who are interested in the simple life, similar to how he thinks. And he's funny, which is always good to listen to.

    • A similar sentiment was express by Scottish poet Robert Burns in a poem "To a Mouse", 1786, somewhat more eloquently. The poem is about a mouse who built a nest for the winter but which got destroyed by the farmer plough. So you can make all the plans in the world but you never know why lies ahead for you. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/To_a_Mouse But, Mousie, thou art no thy lane [you aren't alone] In proving foresight may be vain: The best laid schemes o' mice an' men Gang aft a-gley, [often go awry] An' lea'e us nought but grief an' pain, For promised joy.
