Lenny McLean, Door Work, John Fury, Bodybuilding: Micky Theo
He started weight training at 15 years old, and by 21 was competing, and then doing the doors, becoming close friends with, and sparring with Lenny McLean, and later went on to own his own bars and clubs.
5 years ago he challenged John Fury to a charity fight after John's proclamation that he was tougher than any 54 year old man on the planet.
Now 60, with a lifetime of training under his belt, and in better shape than most 20 year olds, Micky Theo reissues that challenge one last time (in words that aren't minced!) in the hope that John Fury will finally answer the call.

If you watched to the end you’ll hear Mick talks about his gym trying to rehabilitate the youth and pull them away from violent crime and for me that’s worthy or respect, as most sit back, do nothing and wait until they read about it in the news! - men will always fight, but please put the knives down!!!!! If you enjoy these conversations, please remember to like & subscribe to the channel.. Thanks for watching 🙏🏼
The bit about dealing with women on the door some of the shittest night where mothers day 😂 the women causing murder then having to deal with protective sons an husbands 🤯
We had a rule on our doors ..you want to fight like a man.u will get treated like one..yeh I've been bottled by one.kicked up the balls by one and they got the same as a man would right hook .left cross...as lenny would say good night .God bless...that's why I gave the doors up too much pussy footing about now...and jacket fillers afraid of a good tear up..I've helped the old bill out a few times only to get nickedby the same ones....the good old days are gone..
Club KO...was in wood green ..micks gaff. Now his gym is called KO gym.noel runs
i was thinking what about Paddy Docherty hes lived a life and half, infact mate he posts alot still facebook think it would be a good sit down
Anyone helping the youth today deserves a medal fair play...Good stuff Liam 👏

Absolutely Brilliant Keep up the Brilliant Work
Yay xx liams best podcaster x
5 ft 8 this is why he looked massive because he was the height of a garden gnome, no way at his age he is not on trt at least, the fact he said a bit creatine he knew how preposterous he sounded, i wouldn't even say he was on a trt dose, probably 500mg a week
Probably hgh aswel
And guess what?!? He's happy in life. Hat off to him.
He’s not even big now tho? 😂😂 how skinny must you be to think he’s on roids haha
Enjoyed that Gentleman, Thankyou!

“I beat an Irish Bareknuckle Gypsy Champion in a fight for £100,000” What was the fighters name John? “Do you know, I can’t remember” Tells you everything you need to know about John Fury (Big Fighting Man) 🤣
Brilliant Liam and Micky
Great interview proper G
Being an ex doorman myself from the late 80s & 90s I could relate to some of these stories,it was definitely different back then, more characters about then, great interview 👍
Enjoyed listening to this👌🏼 top man Micky 👍🏼
Great podcast Theo is real geezer hopefully he gets one of these fights 👍
Great interview, listening to Micky, brings back memories when I used to train at Tower Gym In Edmonton years ago , used to see Micky train there every now and then,

Another nice podcast Liam interesting guest as always all best you n Micky 👍👏👏👏👏❤️
Great podcast, Mickey seems like he is a great person and I wish him all the happiness in the world. lots of luv from Florida. 🙏🇺🇸🗽🇬🇧🙏
Micky seems like a decent fella, remember the call outs and would love to see him in the ring with John fury. Love how he calls Johns bluff and doesn’t back down to him. John can obviously have a fight and would love to see if he can back up all he’s talk. Hats off boys.🥊💪
Cracking interview u2 x
What a geeza As real as they come no bullshit straight to the point.
Yassas, Mick with love from the Cypriots
Micky was nice enough to help clean my Rover 75 the other day. Done a fine job, likes to use the proper car wash stuff. Cheers Mick...
Great podcast mate 👍thoroughly enjoyed it and Mikey is a top guy
Good stuff Liam Micky really enjoyed that
Well done Mickey Theo, a great watch & a pleasure to listen to a top guy who speaks "HONEST"..
Brilliant brilliant interview and interviewer! Alway like Micky speak with knowledge and experience. And yes I’d buy a car off him as long as it had a three year warranty?! Don.
Absolutely loved this gents x
This was a brill podcast. i wish this was longer
What a BRILLIANT interview ! Great character and a huge inspiration. If you listen to society, they’ll have you believing that 60 is old. Having watch this fella and how he’s (obviously) taken care of himself, the only limitation you have is in your mind.
Top podcaster u Liam, Micky Theo top bloke aswell.
Love a good veteran fight. Heart, experience and still fit. ❤
The end call out would have been gold moment on the box. 😂
Really changed my opinion (for what it counts) on Mick, he seems a really good man, Conducted himself with integrity and respect, fair play to you Mick 👍🌄
I think you’re a great host. Just this sec subscribed
Mr tuff your podcasts are fantastic pal
The call out was a belter. That has made me chuckle Mr Theo
Well done mickey. John is like a kid in school kicking off knowing the teacher will be here within a minute to break up. Absolute melt
Excellent interview 👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👍
Yessss finally a Jackie Stallone interview.

😆👏goodn. Micky to John Fury - "Don't push it or I'll give you a war you won't believe. Let it go,.....let it go!" Shane Fury to Micky - "I don't think you understand Micky. You're dealing with an expert in bareknuckle warfare. A man who's the best with catapults, horseshoes...and his bare hands. A man who's been trained to ignore pain, and live off the land. Eat things that would make a starving lurcher puke. At Appleby and the Epsom Derby, his job was to dispose of his enemies that were involved in a family feud. Stretch them right up the floor sparked clean out! Win by sticking his thumbs in their yoks. And my father Big John was the best" 🥊😎💪

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Got to say, that was one of the best podcasts I have watched in ages. Micky Theo is a proper bloke and love the way Liam interviews his guests.
Remember seeing Mr Theo in Waltham abbey years ago.His friend just took ownership of a Ferrari Enzo. Proper nice guy
friends are criminals then lol says a lot
Yes TOP criminal property developers, but not as criminal as the politicians you vot for. You 🤡
@@auditing_snowflakes- 100% right
You do a great job on your podcast Liam .mick Theo you are a good man an a very funny bloke.all the best 🥃🥃
Liam, after watching your initial podcasts, I must admit that I initially thought, "I've seen this countless times before; it will last for a while and then fade away." This perception arose whether it was in notorious countries or through social media, and it seemed to be more about self-promotion rather than active listening and taking responsibility at times. However, with these latest podcasts, I found it to be more productive, engaging the audience effectively, posing insightful questions rather than average ones, and exuding confidence in asking the right questions. Keep up the excellent work.
Excellent podcast 👍
I really injoy that, I was big into the bodybuilding back in days, Mike was a proper power house
Fantastic video
Bloody great video
Great interview , seems like a nice chap looking good for a 60 year old man
Best interviewer around , you can tell Liam is genuinely interested in his guests and doesmt ask the same questions in every interview ...getting better and better .
Brilliant podcast lads, also 39k views and 34k subs, come on people subscribed to this channel, one of the best about
🙏🏼🙏🏼
I met Mick Theo in 1990 in Cricklewood, when he was finishing work and getting out of a blue Mercedes, he was a nice fella and very affable.
Great podcast from a bit of a legend in certain circles in london and I can vouch for his lifts he was so strong and a frightening guy he was extremely respected didn’t really used to speak to him back in the day he used to growl a lot in the gym 😂but such a nice approachable guy now
Big up, up north 🙌🏻
Brilliant!
Seems a genuine nice chap
Can you do someone from putney, Wandsworth, battersea and Richmond area? Please.
Really good that, nice bloke good stories!
Micky sent my lad a fighting dna hoodie back in the day top block
Class interview Liam 👍 I remember the first time I heard Lenny name the fear in the people faces telling me about him made me laugh so much. Does anyone remember the bouncer Ray from Camden palace he was a giant and grizzly the fat bloke with the beard 😂 scary guys.
Great podcast
I know who you are mick from bodybuilding you were a hero of mine .
Great interview as usual Liam! There's no BS or machismo Just straight talk!! I saw an interview with Mickey T on 'Pep Talk UK' three years ago He had zero hair Now kooks the business!! If you get a chance can you ask him where he gets it done?? Transplant or tupee?? I dont care to be honest but Im 50 plus in reasonably good shape and have been thinking about getting my barnet down for a while now Im sure hes only gonna use Harley Street rather than Turkey but who knows?? Cheers!!
Quality 👏🏻 johns. Wet flange. all talk
I seen some old videos of mick competing in the early 90s man he was a huge dude, could have definitely competed in the ifbb .
Cracking Interview Liam 🎤 Great to hear from Micky about Lenny 🥊
What a good interview what a lovelry humble fella but if you know you know this fella was naughty..... Good night God bless 😂
Micky is genuinely 1 of the last hard men!!!... dying breed of men... no way fury will step in a ring with him... brilliant podcast knew he was mates with lenny and knew he was a body building champion and notorious doormen.. but didn't know that was him in snatch lol... what a guy
Even though hes a foot taller
I'd fight Mickey Theo if he paid my medical bills and sick pay
Cliff fields was humble, didn't look for a name, and give it to lenny
Every single word Mick said about Lenny was true. He always said goodnight, God bless. I knew Lenny for years. Last time I saw him he was getting a friend of his a equity card. I noticed he didn't look well. Was sweating and it wasn't that hot. A few months later I heard he was ill but didn't know exactly what. Then I was away and heard he died and unfortunately couldn't make the Funeral. His wife unfortunately died of cancer as well. Mick Theo was one of the strongest bodybuilders in England at the time. He really trained hard.
This guy is still on hear, the veins and size and fullness. Any kid a kidda
He’s not on gear you can tell he’s not even that big anymore . His veins are like that because of steroid abuse in the past…that’s what happens
Absolutely First Class and Mick Is an inspiration for us mature lads 😂 Liam your style of interview continues to improve as well. Always a great watch.
Interviewer is Phil & Grant combined
He was a liberty taker. Yea credit where credits due 😂😂😂 gotta love tuffs. Great interviewer
I enjoy a bit of Mr Theo. I grew up in wood green in the 70s.
Fare play to him still on it im 56 now old school never leave you say no more 😅
Micky was a good bodybuilder back in the day, Good size proportions and ripped.
I know one fella of that class known as “BIG CHARLIE” 6ft 11in 31stone with abs!!! He is smaller these days but when we was tight in the mid 90s he was a absolute unit he would walk up dunstable high street in the summer wearing a white tight vest and he would stop traffic he was enormous.
