But Kobe got his in his own way by being very crafty and one step ahead of everyone as well as having a killer mid range j.

  • Kobe dominated this game no question. Bad calls by the refs kept the Cavs in it ultimately they won the game. This is the epitome of Kb and LBJ. LBJ ultimate team player, Kobe top 2 one on one player ever. But this game Kobe should of shot like 5 or 6 more fts and at the end he was clearly hacked again in a deciding play. The whole 2nd half was a circus wwe style.

    • Your comment saying kobe not a top team player is ridiculous. How could he not be a team player when he was the leader who kept his guys in position, engaged, understanding the way to win and etc. Just cause he took over games as much doesn't mean he didn't by into any thing that the coaches game plan was. Look at all his championship runs to the finals and Western conference games see how many times he lead the team and run the offense so that they could be in position to win. That wasn't all smush Parker and Derek fisher, alot of that was kobe. Ppl think just cause you have a ego and attitude doesn't mean you not a team player and leader. Everyone attributes lebron as a team player cause his style of play and personality, and lebron game is that of Magic but throughout magic time everyone new he had a killer instinct, he was a serious winner and was hard on his teammates. So kill that noise ppl just hate on Kobe completely.

  • 06 Kobe was on another Level, terrible Lakers inbound execution. Kobe finally gets the ball at half court with 3.4 seconds remaining and nearly makes the three with 3 defenders crowding him smh. Looks like Kobe tells Luke to take the timeout after the game, if the Lakers had a timeout and Luke didn't take it that's just sad. His peak really got screwed by the Lakers front office, as soon as he got someone to step up (bynum), the Lakers were #1 in the west. Luke was decent defender but Jesus that team was just awful. Smush getting blown by every play, Kwame being a matador on defense, Luke turning it over, what was Kobe supposed to do if they are just going to blow the entire game in the last 5 minutes.

  • man so many observations from this game here are a few from me; lebron from this time to about 4 more years was definitely under appreciated, i am definitely guilty as a laker and kobe fan. his shot making and want to prove his self was shown so much throughout this time weather he came up short or got it done people forget he wasnt even old enough to drink yet. kobes skill level was so high from around this time for about the next 3/4 seasons he still had peak athleticism and it was such a marvel to watch when he got it going. smush parker isnt as bad as people remember he was just never a great 3rd option, and since he was under a microscope so to speak because of the greatness of kobe he was forced into a role that just wasnt him. a fee players would have been much much better in todays era on both sides of the ball from this game. luke reminds me a lot of josh giddy, obviously not as good a shooter but better defender. extremely fun game to reminisce on. much love for posting this.

You will probably do otherwise, but TBH, I can respect people who think Kobe is better than Lebron, as long as respect Lebron's greatness, which you do. This was one game they played and I hate to bring this up but head to head "lebum" has won more than half of the matchups while averaging more points, assists, rebounds and a better feild goal percentage but Kobe leads for 3 point percentage by .3. Not bringing that up to hate on Kobe he is my idol and I would defend him if this was the other way around it just drives me crazy seeing people like you hating based off one games outcome and in general just enjoy both of these players greatness and if you like or think one is better than ok cool that's your opinion and I respect it but no need for the ignorant hating and slander. In my opinion they are both two of the best to ever lace them up and you don't have to hate on one just because you think the other is better. I think they’d lose to the Warrior but that’s going 7. The stuff he would do to Klay Thompson… he would make him look like Mike Dunleavy. Bron is better rebounder and slightly better passer. Kobe is a far better defender and he is better offensively in every aspect compared to Bron. The most overrated athlete of my lifetime. And the softest giant in the world.

  • One of the Few times Kobe outplayed Lebron. Lebron is 16-6 vs Kobe and dominated Kobe in every statistical category. Lebron vs Kobe (22 Games) Wins: Lebron-16, Kobe-6 Pts: Lebron-28.2, Kobe-24.6 FG%: Lebron-47%, Kobe-43% Assists: Lebron-7.3, Kobe-5.2 Rebounds: Lebron-7.4, Kobe-5.0 Steals: Lebron-1.9, Kobe-1.1 Blocks: Lebron-0.7, Kobe-0.2 A lot of these games is from when Lebron was young and Kobe was in his prime and Lebron still dominated him. • Yoo no one is comparing Kobe and LeBron. At this time tho, to me Kobe was a better scorer, and defender, but LeBron was a better playmaker and better rebounder. Kobe was slightly better than LeBron during 04 to 09, and 010. Once LeBron realized how to win , he was truly the best player. 2011 he was supposed to be, but choked. See how you have to wait till the end to really get the answer on who's a better player. Y'all can say LeBron was better during 2007 to 2010, but the truth is he wasn't because he didn't know how to win. He had the best record , but when it counted the most he couldn't produce? Because before you lead, you must follow! No one showed him how to win, there wasn't Phil to guide him. I'm sure he had someone who was a champion, but you need to build a culture and a champioship habits and no one brought that to him , and no one was ever there to show it. After LeBron lost, and finally learned how to win, and build that culture of nothing else matters , but the trophy, then he was a monster after that! He found the formula to be the truly best. I love Kobe to death, but I'ma laker fan! I don't really follow players , but Kobe would be my favorite. I hated LeBron, but the years when he's with the Lakers ,till now( 2021). I seen how amazing this man is, the game comes so easily to this guy!!! Like he is the chosen one!!!! There's nobody else blessed, I feel like god really chose him , because of the way he makes the game look, no one ever did that! Also with his abilities and physical structure, and a great role model. What else can you say? Im going to enjoy Lebron's final years, like I did with Kobe. I can truly say now that LeBron is better than Kobe in the way he can just play ball, but Kobe to me is a better scorer ( Shooting FG is overrated as long as your shooting high 40s in 2pts it's too close) and a better defender and the mamba will. What separates them is the way LeBron sees the game, don't get me wrong Kobe is a hell of a mind when it comes to basketball, but he was immature back in the day, and he was smart and knew how to really win , but he was to arrogant and to selfish( He could've won with Shaq against Detroit, but he wanted to prove that he could , can't blame him! No one wants that narrative of he won because if the other player, unless there truly better than you, And when he was scoring a lot when Shaq got traded, he didn't have anyone to trust! Shit those teams wasn't basketball championship material) I didn't blame him, the players he was surrounded with was crazy! This also is the difference, LeBron would win with Kobe's roster , idk if he can carry them to the best records in the seasons (Lakers roster was truly bad) but at this time LeBron would win a lot in the seasons and usually end up with the best record because it's just 1 game at a time and at a early age he was a better leader. Kobe was proving himself to Shaq and was obsessed with MJ, but when Lebron's teams plays a series , the best team always comes out, and he felt short, he's early roster wasn't built for a championship, and he had no one! You need at least 2 really dominant players to win. Once Phil came back Kobe finally could trust someone and D fish also, so the load got easier, and Kobe finally became a leader ,and finally could use all that genius of a basketball mind he had. , but just was to arrogant to change his ways , and that cost him. LeBron was built for basketball, he is to me the most blessed player ever. The plays he makes , the ability to see the play before it happens is really remarkable! There both great , and let's just be happy we seen them play because they were amazing. RIP to KOBE , Gianna and all the people that died. I will never forgett you Kobe ! The joy you bring to me the way when l the Lakers play would relax me for 2.5 hours!;I truly thank you! All the lesson I learned from watching you,

Yes LeBron hit a few jumpers but it was all pure brute going to the rack of drive and kicks on double teams or drive and dumps. He’s amazing don’t get me wrong but have each player with their skill set switch bodies and let me know who you’re taking 💯💯. Then let’s add Mike to the convo .. watching Kobe play D on LeBron I’m certain Mike could’ve hung just fine
