I love watching these guys perform, their work ethic is wonderful. Amazing to see people working in bare feet, not even health and safety flip-flops! It seems any old scrap goes into the melting pot so nobody has any idea of the actual metallic spec of these castings!
Bloody scary the lack of protective equipment. Bet there are heaps of men who have had workplace accidents and are invalids. No compo there either.
Still amazing the lack of safety in these shops.
Almost no safety gear anywhere.
Very very nice ❤❤ Amazing very nice video ❤❤ my favorite channel love you 😊😊😊😊
Theory of time study & Motion study tell leva jaay! Without safety protocall they are working so fast.
такие каленвалы хорошо подходят на китайские двигатели
Я чуть не заплакал.Жду когда шатл на марс точить будет😢
Very skilled Workers
Yes Ford and Rootes group used S.G iron crankshafts from late 1950's to 1990's they performed well until they had a big end failure then they distorted and the mains suffered runout and therefore could not be reground
In Pakistan no health insurance is need. Alla provides insurance.
Cast iron crankshafts?😅 Quality cranks are forged.
True but the vast majority of crankshafts produced are and always have been cast
You must live under a rock most manufacturers are using cast cranks. They’re cheaper to manufacture. Yes I know forged a superior. So does the auto industry.
@@ericfaley9019 It is a Perkins crankshaft, they were forged steel, some are even nitrided! This would not last very long in a good working engine, haven't even hardened the journals.
@@brianlove8413 remember we have not necessarily seen every step. So heat treating, for example, might have happened
@@psk5746 Before it went into the crank grinder, we would see the blued metal where they would have induction/flame heat treated it, this for them would be a fancy method, I think they would show it if happened.
Guy #1: "What do I do with these that just came out of the cleaning tank?" Guy#2: "Just THROW them over there on the ground" LOL Thanks but no thanks
yeah all that throwing and they don't have shoes
Нет видео с балансировкой и нет характерного сверления на противовесах
Might be next step
Luar biasa 👍👍👍
If the western world was cut off from countries like this we would be stuffed as we have lost these important skills
Trục khửu mà đúc như này sẽ k tốt bằng đập từ 1 cây sắt tròn ra
would like to know how they make the crankshaft form that goes in mold.it has to be bigger than the original crankshaft so they can turn it down.
its probably a reverse mold made for just that purpose.
Not just for machining, you have to allow for shrinkage as well.
💯👍
It looks as they made crankshafts from grey castiron .
@@UserName92149 If you had a little idea than you see that it is for a 3 cylinder engine like the 3.152 Perkins engine
@@mbury8004 Yes it looks like it, and they were originally forged steel, these are definitely grey cast iron.
@@brianlove8413 I wonder how long they will hold untill they brake .
Keep it up 👍
NOT ONE GUY WITH SHOES OMG HOT FOOT DISGUSTING THE WAY THEY WORK JUNK METAL MELTING FOR A CRANK SHAFT NO WONDER CARS DONT LAST
