Not armatures. Those rings are for the field coil to go in. The armature spins in the center of those field coils, right where the big hole is in the center. steve
Armatures those are not. I kept expecting one to show up. An armature is what goes through one of those in the video.

Finally some newer machinery for metal stamping. The die makes both the rotor and the stator. The rotor is blanked out of the center first (the guy on the right is grabbing those), then the stator gets blanked out.
