It’s one thing producing the product and another thing building a factory like that! Insane engineering
Creating is an order of magnitude more difficult than using!!!
It's a company that I've been working with for the past 7 years
Those shots of the first arc furnace were just amazing.
The part with the arcing electrode and the furnace is amazing. Almost like a Marvel's movie.
Thank you for filming this documentary and it was very interesting to watch. Nicely displayed.
The only thing that i interested in is how is big the transformer that can provide that huge ammount of current that melts the metal
There is true beauty and drama in heavy industry, and you captured it well. Bravo!
I had no idea. VERY VERY impressive!
One of the biggest DC electric arc furnaces I’ve ever seen!!!
This is honestly some of your best work! The videography is fantastic. The scale and size of the processes is simply amazing.
Great video, industrial engineering on a enormous scale.
This is one of the best-produced videos of this kind, thanks
The engineering behind the assembly line is truly remarkable
The scale of this factory is amazing.
Impressive process, great video.
Very nice video
Thank you for showing the process involved in recycling steel into new products
Subhanallah..!! Kereen. 🇮🇩 🇮🇩 🇮🇩
I loved your effort to make this kind of video. Please make more interesting videos like this✌️
Great contry,love❤❤❤from nederland.
great video.
I thank my great brothers, photographers, for their great effort in producing this amazing content. My greetings and appreciation. Your brother Youssef is from Saudi Arabia
gracefully. beautiful.gorgeous. mesmerizing. 🤩
Tell me you didn’t get Geonosian droid factory vibes watching this. Great video!
Yeah it looks like it's from a movie, The massive doors opening, The dramatic light shining upwards as some kind of beam slowly lowered into The foundry. It's like watching some kind of arcane ritual. I can totally imagine this being the section of a movie where they show how they finally complete the ultimate superweapon that will destroy the Galaxy, that the heroes will have to destroy, or something.
I would have some concerns about the quality of I-beam steel produced from recycled scrap.
great video, keep it coming
Good work
An impressive amount of scrap iron!
That was cool and interesting to watch🙀🙀🙀
INSANE SCOPE of operations...The equipment is HUGE!
I would really like to work there
bro risk his safety for our watch. Thank you so much.
Amazing Dude!!
It would be good if you'd decide you want to show how I beams or H beams are made. The two are completely different!
This is a scarp melting furnace using an enormous amount of electricity in the form of an electric arc. Blast furnaces can melt raw iron ore as well as recycled metal, while electric arc furnaces only melt recycled or scrap metal. Blast furnaces primarily use coke to supply the energy needed to heat up the metal.
Superb, felt like you were there, thousands of tons of scrap steel waiting to go into the charger, would love a visit the mill & have a tour...Music is by '' Diamonds & ice, Grow through changes'', music fitted the video perfectly.
Incredible video! Am I mistaken in thinking I heard the machines moving the crucibles full of molten metal playing classical music?
Video muito legal 2:24 show
Need a video on just how the arc furnaces work would love to see that
Think of a sustained 150 million watt short circuit and you're in the ballpark. Arc regulation is practically a science unto itself.
C’est en Algérie 🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿💪🏼
Genuine heavy industry!
Is this where the terminators are built?
music reminds me of Philip Glass
Quá tuyệt vời
Amazing 💪💪💪💪
What are electrodes made of
Terbaik 👍
No. The melting is not done using high voltage, but using high current at low voltage.
Forno elétrico?
"What grade of steel are your beams?" "Yes."
why dont the magnet lift up the truck ?????
Great music... what is it?
Nice
Wow
5:43 - it's not so much about moderately high "voltage" (below 1 kV, or 1000 V), it's the current (amperage) that does the heating - see Joule's Law, Q = R * I^2 * t where Q is energy (heat), R is resistance of the conductor, I (= capital "i") is the current (i.e. "amperes") and t = time. Notice that "I" is squared - hence this is the most important component in the equation And the current here (in electric arc furnace) is "in excess of 44 kA, or 44000 A" says Auntie Wiki, and who am I to question her knowledge or challenge her authority, eh? ;-) For comparison - regular stick or MAG/ MIG welding of such "I-beams" (or "H-beams" as some call it) would be around 200 A, maybe 300 A - with voltage about 30 - 60 V. 6:13 - that looks more like slag tapping to me, and the steel is not "filtered" - it's the added flux (CaO and MgO) that melts and absorb impurities, forming the slag (that floats onto the surface of molten steel, aka "the heat". Other than that, an excellent video : )
💪🏾💪🏾
I love these videos. I HATE the music.
👌
Un gran video 😉👍🏻
Creating is an order of magnitude more difficult than using!!!
Imagine people from 100k years ago saw this what would they say
No heating bill in the winter at this place
how do they know the makeup of the steel if everything goes in the pot or does it matter?
Yes it matters. Composition is checked and adjusted during the melt process
@@arisaka9963 It might be too complicated for a comments answer, but how is this done?
I would have some concerns about the quality of I-beam steel produced from recycled scrap.
@@ratpark5008 I think this is kind of the standard world wide. Somehow they are able to adjust the mix to be what they want/need.
They make test samples then adjust the ingredients. The sacks were shown of additional ingredients.
A Piombino lo facevamo😢
Isn't it dangerous to drop the scrap steel, which has been sitting on the wet floor, into an active crucible?
Yes
1:06 what car is this
Number of emolyees = 10
That arc furnace is pretty scary to watch.
🌹
Great video, once I saw the number 13 ……. Definitely not in the US .
Mad Max?
