    • HeavenlyChild19 he’s obviously joking. Also it’s actually a method to calm people’s nerves around animals which in fact keeps them calmer and in turn makes them safer to handle. They’re dangerous and you have to be precautious but most animals will respond to you how you respond to them. Trust me if that gator didn’t want to be there it wouldn’t have been. Even one that size is powerful enough to hurt someone even just with its tail. I’ve been introduced to animals that I was told were aggressive ( even domestic) and long as I remained calm and didn’t show fear they responded positively to me. My grandparents had a dog who in his old age got very aggressive. He would snap if anyone got close to him. But he always allowed me to give him a kiss on the head. Never growled or snarled at me about it.

  • Man Robert is a almost “copy and paste” of his father is so beautiful to see, his love for animals, and they way he talks about them, then causally will say “oh they have really sharp teeth, DO NOT get bite it will hurt” and he just keeps going is outstanding.     • I don't worry much about Robert. You can look at him and Bindi and see owners son and daughter or not they do their share of physical work around the zoo. They have been taught to not endanger those around them while interacting with dangerous animals and to back a mate up with their life. Don't worry Robert is Bush Folk thru and thru he goes to town and enjoys it but never becomes part of it.
