His Mom did a phenomenal job raising him. He was just 2 when his Dad passed, so he basically has to live off of videos to know his Dad. And you can tell he emulates his Dad, and does a great job.

Maybe even laugh along at jokes that aren't funny. And that comes across as being inauthentic for some ppl. But I always felt, it was sweet of him.

Not so much DNA as it is having literally hundreds (probably thousands) of hours of footage of his father who died before he was even 3 years old. You know this kid grew up devouring every piece of media featuring the father he never got to know personally. THAT's where his identical voice inflection and excitement comes from.
