Each week night, THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN throws the ultimate late night after party with a mix of celebrity guests, edgy musical acts, games and sketches. For those wondering why the dog was there: Cheetas are incredibly nervous and skittish animals. Often when there's an orphaned one they'll raise it alongside a dog to feel more at ease.

Have shown an higher IQ when it comes to understanding us. Most dog breed we use today evolved the "puppy eye" technique to communicate with us. Retriever dogs are the best example of such evolution. I agree with you. Dog's and horses would be the best companion for us during a zombie apocalypse. It is also the 2 animals most used by us throughout history. Cats with the Pharaohs and Japanese culture, Cow with the Indian culture (one that is thousands of years old). But they are more religious than about a symbiotic relationship. I actually would prefer a trained Chimpanzee as a companion for a zombie apocalypse. He could swing on the trees away from the zombies. Find food, shelter, strong enough to defend himself. The problem would be a major risk of being infected since we share a lot of common DNA. I wouldn't want to fight a ZombieChimp. I'm looking forward for a "I am Legend" Tarzan edition 😑😀😅 .

In case you didn't fully grasp what Jack was saying about the cheetah before he was interrupted. A cheetah's tongue is very sharp and can literally lick the flesh off your arm all the way to the bone. I thought that was an interesting tidbit

Cheetahs are awesome, basically super sized house cats. A leopard, tiger, or lion would take you down on the spot, but a Cheetah is more likely to nuzzle you for some food.
they're most likely to choose flight over fights. They're pretty small compared to other big cats. If you I was going to encounter any big cat in the wild, I'd have more of a chance with them

@@phoenixwing5133 I've had a cougar cub, a baby wallaby, a 150 pound reticulated python, and other animals in my classroom or school auditorium - the children were respectful and didn't lose the plot around the animals. I've taken my class (1st grade) to a wolf sanctuary and the docents and caretakers were in awe how polite and knowledgeable my students were. My students asked intelligent questions and listened when answers were given. One caretaker advised the others to be up on their game as nothing got past the kids.

I get that this is just done for entertainment purposes (which is questionable in itself) but considering the effort it takes to transport the animals safely and the extreme stress most of them are going through to be on the show, it's such a shame that they then spend a few minutes essentially only making jokes about them before moving on to the next animal. It's very one-note: 'Oh look it's a cheetah! It might kill us all! Oh it's a turkey! I'm hungry! A tortoise! I love them they're lazy! A reindeer! Can they fly?' - it's just not very original considering how fantastic it is to encounter these animals in the first place, and the need for conservation efforts there definitely is. I'm not sure why Jack Hanna isn't really sharing any interesting facts about the animals he is presenting or why James Corden is turning these extraordinary encounters into nothing but jokes that literally just focus on one stereotype or cliche about the animal, but it really is a missed opportunity.

As the apex predator of all animals on Earth, I disagree. We have total dominion and can do as we please. Not that we should, but the idea that animals are above us is just insane. Don't get me wrong, I'd save a cute little baby cheetah over a fat balding accountant in a house fire any day of the week, but let's not pretend that we're not animals, and that animals wouldn't take us out given the chance.
