This week at the chateau, the family take a trip to bagnoles de l'orne and visiting the loveliest and largest fairs in Normandy, the yearly Foire Des Andaines features over 2,000 vendors stretching their stalls along a 5 km forest road between Saint Michel des Andaines and Bagnoles de l'Orne.
Hopefully visiting the 2,000 stalls Terry will be able to find a extra chandelier or two.
Plus, Terry & Tracy nip to Alençon, so pay a quick visit to emmaus.

About us,
We are a family from the North-East of England following our dream to restore a beautiful abandoned french Château. We discovered the heart stopping Château De Lalacelle in summer of 2020, this beautiful architectural monument Is set in the countryside of North-West France.
The moment we visited the Château we all fell in love, from the beautiful sweeping landscape and forests, to its stunning untouched interiors and magnificent spiral staircase in the turret.
Unfortunately Château De Lalacelle has been abandoned for a number of decades so will need a lot of restoration and DIY.

I am in heaven with watching you guys in what we in a America call a flea market. So many beautiful things to see and buy. I absolutely love the chandelier and those precious little lamps. You guys are living the dream life that most of us would love. Enjoy it and make wonderful memories.

What an absolute bargain you snapped up in that chandelier. Seriously...that is one beautiful chandelier. Great eye, my man!!! The small bedside lamps were a great bargain as well. The green and blue painted colors are a great color palette for the entire room.....!

Great day out. Sometimes it's more interesting if bedside cabinets don't match. For example one could be a small round side table and the other could be a square or rectangle.

I'm a sucker for old lamps as well, even the deer leg, I used to have one, lol...sold it...what a fun expedition..I have learned to take a fold up cart, perfect for lamps...so glad Tracy opted for the smaller player, that pink would've haunted me more then the dear leg lamp...lol...thanks for taking us along...!

Hi - when I saw your video from the two "flea" places tonight, I came to think of my first visit to a flea market. We were 16 students and our teacher on a study trip to Paris in October 1966 - of course we had to experience a flea market !! - it was particularly interesting for us, because we did not know it from Denmark. In one of the "notes" there were old glasses, but what scared us the most was a place where people "tried" the goods - it was a box full of dentures - we had no imagination that this could happen - and it was just before, our breakfast came up again. It was an experience of a lifetime !! Marianne

Love those little lamps, and thinking how you are looking for bedside cabinets would you not try floating shelves, two on each side, that way you can use the top for lamp and under one for phone glasses, I had to do that in my room and looks lovely and saves on space as well, Have a great weekend when it arrives, xxxxxx Hugs Dede xxxxxx
